Serenity couldn't surpress her giggle at the sight of Professor Potter in his jeans and tee-shirt while his robes lay with Ophelia. "Old tricks? So, she doesn't this often?" she laughed and then, bit her lips to try and stop herself. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh at your Dad."

Andi looked at MacNair quizzically. He seemed to genuinely regret what had happened, but she didn't trust him yet. Andi placed the palm of her hand on his arm and felt a sense of loss traced through with excitement. The excitement was unexpected, but the regret was there. It was a trick she tried not to use, since it seemed like cheating, but sometimes she read people on purpose. "Its okay," her smile was small.

Lia was speechless. The color drained from her face and her mouth could of touched the floor. She looked from the robes, to her Professor, to Jake, then back to the robes. Lia couldn't help but notice how much better he looked when he wasn't in his robes.. and had to envy the Potter's mother for that catch, but she couldn't help but be a little embarrassed.

She bent down and picked up the robes, and walked them over to Professor Potter..,"I'm so sorry, Sir. That was meant for Jake..,"she said, biting her lip and nodding over towards him. "Want me to help you?" she asked, holding his robes up.

Bryce looked down at the hand on his arm and back up at Andi. She was willingly touching him without the effects of the potion? "Thanks," he said slowly but, quickly came out of his trance. "Though, I can't say that I didn't enjoy your affections. There just may be hope for you, yet," he winked.

"naw, that's okay......I'm bettin she was aiming at Jake but no one's gonna penetrate his shield, I've seen him use it loads of times.....although she must have distracted him a bit for it to hit Dad. You know...I think that's my shirt he's wearing."

Orion was going to mock her and her groping of the Snape, but for some reason he didn't have the heart. "Snape's the one who gave us the potion. It isn't as if he can get too angry with us for reacting to his own foolishness." He grinned and leaned against his hand. "At least you did get some kissing out of the deal." He didn't specify who the kissing was of, but there WAS kissing.

She shook her head as she watched Ophelia go up with the robes and hold them up for the teacher. "She's really quite a piece of work. In fact, it seems most of the Slytherins are, except for Beth," Serenity said before she realized what she was saying. "I guess I shouldn't really talk about my new housemates like that before I get to know them..."

"Nope, there's no hope," Andi smiled and removed her hand. The feelings Bryce had were decidedly platonic, despite all his teasing. She didn't know that she'd ever read anything other than platonic emotions yet, but she was sure she'd know when she did. "That's all the attention you'll be getting from me for now, so you'd better store it away for later."

The Professor took back his robes and pulled them back over his head and as he put his glasses back on he took a better look at Lia's face.....a wave of realization came over him as to who this girl's mother was. It all made sense, Harry's last encounter with her mother was in hearing a story were she tried to deceive Jake's father into some compromising situations. "And, I might add, that next time, you choose a more.......offensive spell to cast since we're trying to imitate what we might encounter in the real world. And I doubt it seriously if any Death Eater would be trying to undress any of you." Harry's face turned red almost as soon as he said this.

Andi scowled at him, but there was no sting to it. "I didn't say that. And I don't understand why you would spend all of class giving me helpful suggestions on how to be a better girl if you seriously wanted to win anything from me. So... mates, remember?"

"Ah yes, I remember. Mates," he said and silently added despite the fact that you seem to want a boy to think of you as something more than just a mate. Bryce held out his hand for her to shake. "You know, I've never been mates with a Gryff before."

"Shut up, Malfoy. Just..," but Joey didn't finish. She was amazed at just how nonchalant he was being about the whole ordeal. "I can't believe you aren't at all upset that you kissed a Potter." Joey shook her head. Her year was just unbelievable so far. ANd though she'd never, ever admit it, she had enjoyed kissing Orion. It was probably the best kiss she'd ever had.. But that didn't mean anything. She was a Potter and she hated Malfoy. "Did you carry me all the way up here?" Joey asked, looking around the Hospital Wing.

"I've never really been friendly with a Slytherin either, although my mum was one. And she's pretty much one of my best mates, so... I guess I've got lots of experience in spending time with a Slytherin." She pushed all of her supplies off her desk and into her bag before rising to her feet. "I'm really hungry. Lunch, you reckon?"

Orion considered the question and even thought about lying. "No. I couldn't get you off my lap so I ended up just going to sleep too. I hope whoever found us has discretion or... well, it wouldn't really ruin MY reputation for people to know I was sleeping in a closet with you." He left it unsaid that it would probably ruin hers, if she cared about things like that. He wasn't sure if she did.

"Yeah, it's about that time," he said and looked over at Alexa who was still in a bit of shock, probably over Andi's ignoring her about the Potter/Malfoy business. "You coming, too?" he asked as he hefted his bag to his shoulder and stood up.

"I hope they were discreet too.. Just imagine if my father saw that..," Joey said, cringing a bit. Joey ran Orion's words through her head once more. "What do you mean.. Being caught with me wouldn't hurt your reputation? I'm not trying to bring up parents again.. but.. I doubt he'd be very happy about that. Unless..," and Joey narrowed her eyes at him. Her suspicions rose. What if this was just some sick trick to get a hold of a Potter?

Orion ruffled his short hair. His father hated it, which made Orion like it more. Orion was proud of his name, and pretty much obedient to his father, but he liked to push against the strictly stupid rules put in place for him. "Yeah, my father would hate it," Orion admitted, his eyes lighting up strangely at the thought that Joey would be an excellent way to make Draco Malfoy crazy. It was almost a win-win situation for him. Other than the fact that he didn't like Joey Potter even remotely. At all.

"Mine too, but why are we even discussing this? I'm not considering a relationship with you," Joey said, as if that wasn't already clear. "You know.. I think I'm going to try and find out whose potion we got.. and then give them a beating with that bucket...," Joey tried hard not smile at the thought of that dumb bucket. That bucket had caused so much ... and a grin crept onto her face.

Orion made a face at her. "I don't do relationships, Potter, so the point it entirely moot. And if you ever find out who's potion we had, I'll hold them down while you beat them with the bucket. Honestly, I think I may have insulted Snape, although I can't remember exactly what I said now." He groaned and peeked at Potter. She was grinning, although he didn't know what was so funny. Other than her falling in teh bucket. And kissing Snape. And...

"I think it's safe to say, we both offended him. I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at him the same way." Joey grinned bigger, remembering his look as she threw her arms around his neck. THe more she thought about it, the funnier it was, and before long she was giggling out loud. "Then.. you shook his elbow!" Joey giggled on.

"You know... things are weird right now. We're not.. threatening each other.. or cursing each other's names. I think we bonded. Do you think we bonded?" Joey asked worriedly.

Beth was leaning against the windowsill, throwing spells at her partner who still needed some work on her shield. Her mind rambled as she looked about the room. Serenity seemed to be getting on well with the Potter boy, and watching her, Beth had to wonder if there had been a mistake with her sorting. Or maybe it was just a complete lack of the usual predjuices....

Her thoughts were broken by the sight of Lia covered with robes. A look of puzzlement flickered across her face, followed swiftly by a smirk. Who was the victim of her disrobing this time? Her eyes fell on the teacher, her smirk widening, a small giggle escaping her. She brought her hand up to her face. unconciously nibbling her little finger, her eyes moving over the professor thoughtfully.

"My deepest appologies sir. Do forgive me.. it was just the first spell that came to mind. I'll do better, Professor Potter," she replied, and took a little bow. Lia turned and returned back to Jake, "Why did you do that?!" she whispered, her voice not threatening, but amused. She walked over close to him, and poked him lightly in the chest. "Funny Winston... I didn't know you had that in you. Nice surprise.."

"Well don't blame me," Jake said with a smile on his face, "you cast the spell, all I did was block it. Look, if you need extra robes or something, I'll talk to Professor MacGonagal to see what she can come up with....." Then he realized as time was getting short that he hadn't cast his last spell yet. "Okay, one last spell.........ready?"
