Wendi saw Jake coming and couldn't help but laugh at his teasing of Rusty. Smiling at Jake, "Hello Jake. Of course you didn't see me, your crowd at the platforum was pretty big. I'm doing very well thanks." Wendi added as she looked down as his badge." Well, I see your the new Head boy. I see I have to behave this term around you...don't want to get in trouble." A big grin came across her face as she eyed a little firsty come by. "Sadly, I don't think I can promise you that, but I CAN promise you I won't get caught."

She quickly went to buy something from the trolley before another word was said from Jake and couldn't help but laugh to herself. "How are you doing Jake?!" Wendi asked as she came back with some pasties. "Want one?!"

OOC: I see Alexa has inherited a middle name. I hope the "Lou" is short for Louise.

Lex blushes at her sister comments about Rusty. "My name is Lex not Lexi, Andrea, and since when do you want to go to an all girls school. You always say you can't stand playing quidditch with girls. They don't provide you with enough of a challenge. And anytime you want to trade brothers, Joey, you just let me know. I'll gladly give you Jake in exchange for Rusty." Of course Lex is not serious about trading her brother. As tired as she gets of Jake interferring in her life, she is very devoted to him and her twin. "And for your information Rusty was sitting with Jake in the Prefects Car. I have no interest in sitting in that car. They are too obsessed with following the rules, and, with Jake being made head boy, I will have to behave myself too this term. He's such a straight arrow. I wish he could learn to loosen up and have some fun. Sometimes I wish I was an only child like Serenity." Lex smiles at her twin. Andie knows her too well to believe she would ever want to be an only child.

Brennan was grateful Charlie was trying to change the subject. He didn't understand why the only thing girls ever seem to want to talk about is boys. Wendi spent most of the summer talking about Jake Winston. You'd think he was the only boy alive the way she kept going on and on about him. "No I didn't have a chance to attend too many quidditch matches over the summer break. Dad kept me busy working in the joke shop. I can't wait for the Quidditch season to start at Hogwarts though. With the Jake, Andie, and Lex on the team, I think Gryffindor should chance of winning the Quidditch Cup this year."

Andi crossed her feet at the ankle and closed her eyes. "We went to a bunch of scrimmages and matches for the Hornets, plus some of the qualifiers for the Quidditch World Cup team next summer. I think Dad is going to be on it again, although Mum keeps talking about retiring. Again. Says she's getting too old." She weighed Brennan's praise before grinning at him. "We stand more than a chance. Slytherin has the only good team to note and they had 4 players graduate. They're team will be way too young. And don't forget the fine Potters on the team as well, Bren."

ooc: Lou isn't her middle name... its just a pet name that Andi calls her to tease her. If it bothers you, she doesn't have to, I just know a Lexi that is called Lexi Lou and its cute.

He wasn't nearly as confident as he was managing to sound and wouldn't have volunteered to bet on gaining the favor of both twins by the end of term. However, he wasn't about to back down now and let Malfoy know he wasn't confident in his ability to charm members of the opposite sex. Orion nodded slowly, considering the odds. "Fine, and if you do manage it, I'll let you pick my punishment," he grinned, feeling confident. "But how about something a bit sooner? I bet you can't get one of the twins to go with you on the first Hogsmeade weekend. If I lose, I'll be your slave for the rest of the week. Including homework duties." He did some calculating in his head, knowing he was giving Bryce over a month to accomplish such a simple task.

"Alright," he accepted eagerly, knowing that he could at least make it seem like one of them went with him (Orion hadn't mentioned that she'd have to STAY with him once they got there). He held out his hand, "Same for me, then. If I can't get one of them to go with me, I'll be your slave for a week."

Orion grinned. "Now that's a good way to start the year. Much better than sitting through the Sorting Feast and trying to keep the first years from drooling on my robes." He shivered in mock disgust and glanced at MacNair. "And how was your summer, Bryce? Your father still the delightful man I recall." His tone dripped with sarcasm.

"Thanks," Jake said, taking one of the pasties from Wendi. "Well summer was fine, we spent alot of time with Dad and Mom's team, the World Cup is this year again and I think Dad's got a chance again. He's getting a bit old but there aren't too many newcomers than can fly like him so....we'll see." Then he looked down at the badge Wendi made such a big deal about. "Oh this.....well Head Boy doens't mean too much more than Prefect but it sure looks good for my future and the choices of jobs."

"I thought we could just stroll the corridor and see what popped up first. If we some first years, we can torture them. If we see some Gryffs, we can hassle them. And if we see some pretty girls... Well, we'll see," he smirked, gesturing for Orion to proceed throught he open door with a short bow.

"Oh right, your father must be excited about that. I always thought he was a good player, my youngest brother simply adores him to pieces." Wendi told Jake with a bright smile. "Always thinking of the future aren't you Winston?!" Giving him a poke she continued on, "You need to have fun this year. It IS after all our last year."

Orion led the way out into the corridor and down towards the food trolley. The younger students tended to gather down there, which was convenient for the two Slytherin boys. Orion paused in his processional and glanced down to the trolley. "I see... lots of firsties. Two Gryffindor bigheads. And... I hate to say it, but the summer has been good to Weasley."

"Well then, it's Gryffs and good looking girls; two birds, one stone," MacNair grinned as they pushed their way past the first years. He stepped up behind Weasley, sweeping her hair aside and whispering in her ear, "Hey Weasley."

"My mother mentioned something about a food cart with some excellent candy and snacks. Did you want me to get you something?" Serenity asked, rather hoping she would so that she'd have a chance to leave the compartment and recover from the overload of people.

OOC: No problem with Lexie Lou, I think it's kind of cute too. I'll have to think of a name of endearment for Andie. You still want Alexis to go by Lex right?

"I wasn't being arrogant. I'm just confident Gryffindor stand a good chance of winning the cup this term. Lex and you sure are lucky to have parents that play for the Hornets. I'd love to be able the go the the World Cup next year. I'll have to mention it to my dad. He's so wrapped up in inventing new gags that he hardly knows what goes on in our family let alone the outside world." Brennan digs deep in his jacket pockets and pulls out three awful looking sandwiches. "My mom made these for the trip, but I wouldn't advise you eating them. She's a terrible cook. That sounds great," he says in response to Serenity's offer to get something off the food trolly. "Seeing that this is your first trip on the Hogwarts Express, maybe I should go with you." Brennan smiles at Serenity so proud of himself for being confident enough to offer to come along. He's usually very shy around girls, particularly ones he doesn't know very well.

Andi jumped to her feet and pulled open her trunk. "Yeah, I need a Cauldron Cake." She handed the money to Serenity. She recognized Serenity's desire to get out of the car, and she didn't blame her. All this attention from strangers would make Andi want to climb under a rock. "Thanks... we'll keep all the firsties from stealing your seat while you're gone."

Rusty turned at the sound behind him. He recognized the all too familiar voice of Bryce. "Anything I can help you with, McNair," Rusty asked in his most challenging voice, "like tying your shoes......"

"Easy Russ," Jake said, placing himself between his friend and the two Slytherin boys. "Hello Orion, Bryce," he said politely.

Lex watched her sister jump off her seat and open her trunk. "Andie, have you got enough money to buy me a cauldron cake too," she asked. "I'll pay you back when we get to Hogwarts." Lex was always so disorganized when it came to packing her trunks. She wasn't really sure which trunk she had packed her money in and didn't want to have to the luggage car to try and find it. "Mom's talks about retiring every year, but I think she'll keep playing as long as dad does. She'd hate to not be on the road with him during the season."

OOC: I do like the name Alexia Louise. It has a nice ring to it.

Wendi suddenly jumped at the sudden movement of her hair and a voice. Right away the voice was comfirmed as she turned around with a grin, "Well, if it isn't the cocky MacNair and his ever cockier friend irrogant Malfoy." Staring at them both she crossed her arms, oh how she enjoyed to tease these two ever so.

"Um... Well, I think I can find the cart on my own, thanks," she replied to the red haired kid before accepting the money from Andi who seemed want her to leave. Of course Serenity knew she was being silly for Andi wouldn't have given her money and made a comment about saving her seat if she didn't want her to be there but, Serenity supposed she was just stressed out a bit.

"So, two cauldron cakes... anything else?" she asked, now standing beside the door and when she saw that no one else wanted anything, she opened the door and shut it behind her after stepping into the somewhat crowded hall.

She could see over the first year students' heads to the cart and merely stood in line, taking a deep breath, and enjoying not having anyone looking at her for the moment.

"No thanks, Potter, I wouldn't want you to get my shoes dirty," he sneered before putting on a fake smile. "Nice to see you Mr. Winston. I see you're out patrolling for trouble, as usual. How are those sisters of yours?"

Before Winston could answer Wendi replied. "Now, now, who's cocky? Not either of us. I like to think of it as confident," he said, taking up her hand and kissing the back of it before gently lowering it back down again.

Andi watched Serenity leave and didn't sit right back down on the bench. Instead, she paced up and down, leaping over feet and trunks to get to the window before turning and heading back for the door. "I'm bored. We've only been in this train for less than an hour, and I need something to do. Any ideas? And if you say Exploding Snap I'll bite your nose off," she turned and looked at the boys significantly.

Orion shouldered Bryce aside and put his arm around Wendi's waist, turning her away from where the Gryffindors stood. "I'm comfortable with being called cocky. It's only a bad thing if you have no reason to be." He leaned in, his lips hovering over her ear. "I have every reason to be." Wendi might be a Weasley, but she wasn't one of those tiresome girls Orion usually had to deal with. Her being children of a blood traitor didn't seem to matter so much. Those things always mattered more to his father than to Orion.

Wendi's hand was suddenly being kissed by MacNair and then Malfoy's arm was around her waist. Wow, had the summer really changed her that much?! Wendi thought as she moved Malfoy's arm away from her waist. "Boys boys boys, please." Wendi said composing herself with a cough and then straightening her robes before grinning.

"Have all your hormones gone to your pretty little heads lately?! My my, I thought you two were more compossing with all those girls running after you. Seems like I was wrong. Oh look, I think that's one of your previous little girls right now. I think she wants you Orion." Wendi whispered into his ear before smiling brightly and moving back again.
