Ignore this post, it's meaningless. I just feel like posting and my other character is in bed with no one to talk to so, I am posting my awake character even if she is all alone doing nothing but taking a bath (how exciting LOL).

Serenity eased into the water until she was completely immersed and then, rose again, pushing her hair back out of her face. It felt so good to be in the water. She had gone swimming that morning in the lake but, this bath was simply divine. It was just the right temperature and smelled of raspberries. She had tried some of the other scents but, had settled on the sweet smelling fruit. If only she had some to eat, the bath would be perfection.

Lia grinned and laid down where the blanket was spread, motioning for Alex to join her. Once he was down beside her, she turned and faced the fire, pulling his arm over. Lia grinned at the fire, finally have a good night, before dozing off to sleep warm and happy.

Orion woke up earlier than usual. Much earlier. He lay still for several long moments before realizing that he was still awake because his brain was zooming in a million directions at once. It made him uncomfortable to be unsure of anything and to be so pensive, so Orion rolled over and picked up a book of his nightstand. Heaving it across the room, he hit Bryce's bed in such a way that the book went through the curtains and hit the boy sleeping in that bed.

Andi would normally shoot out of bed on a clear cool morning like this and take off for the pitch, but her back was sore and she had an appointment with Bryce this morning. The whole Bryce situation was weighing heavily on her, and she knew she needed to speak with him about it soon. Slowly, Andi rose from her bed and made her way to the shower.

Serenity finished her bath and wrapped herself up in one of the soft towels. It was late and she didn't bother putting on the night clothes she had brought down, she merely carried them with her back to the common room. The towel was just too soft not to take full advantage of and it was large enough to cover her fully without any problems. There was no one in the common room and her dormmates were all in bed when she arrived. Reluctantly, she dropped the towel, slipped into her night clothes and drifted off to sleep.

Bryce had been dreaming about Potter and Winston flying around the Slytherin dorm in their underwear. They flew over him and just as they were about to remove the last bits of cloth from their bodies, Winston slid on her broom. She overcompensated in trying to regain her balance and ended up smacking him in the head with her broom.

He awoke with a start and cursed loudly, picking up the book which had ruined his dream just as it was getting good. Bryce threw back the curtains and held the book, ready to chuck it at whoever had the nerve to disrupt his sleep. He looked over at Orion and glared at him, throwing the book as hard as he could and missing him completely in his sleepy haze. "What was that for? You interrupted a really nice dream," he yawned, runnign a hand through his bedraggled hair.

Alex smied contented as Lia pulled him down behind her. Snuggling close, he pulled the blanket over them, watching the firelight play on her face before he settled down, drifting off to sleep.

Beth left Serenity at the bathroom making her way up to the owlery. Settling herself in the window, she sarted on her letters. The first was easy. Her birthday was quickly approaching and when it arrived, she would finally be of age. Her Aunt had promised to arrange things for her, and now that she had Dumbledore's approval, it was time to get things started.

She finished the letter, tying it to one of teh schools owls, watching the bird recede into the night before starting on the next. This one was considerably more difficult. She chewed her quill for several minutes before scribbling the few lines down. It was rather shorter than she had imagined, but it covered all that she wanted. After all, it was only information she wanted. She pursed her lips, attaching the letter to Aslan's leg. This would all have been easier if Dumbledore would just have helped.

She watched her owl out of sight before gathering her belongings and making her way back to the common room. The fire was dying, but she settled in a chair beside it anyway, pulling a nearby book into her lap. She read over the pages, basic charms, letting her attention wander, her hand laid over the old crisp pages. That book of Orion's she mused, fingering the pages. Shaking her head of the mystery, she laid her head back, curling her feet under herself. Her eyes on the fire, she let her mind drift to her future, to the tasks of the weeks ahead. Smiling, she felt her eyes grow heavy, and she drifted off to sleep, her dreams unrestricted.

Lex had tossed and turned all night long. She couldn't get that stange book out of her mind. She knew she hadn't seen it in the Common Room before last night, and she wasn't going to be happy until she had a look at it. Joey was snoring in the bed next to hers, and Andi's bed was empty. Lex figured her sister must be taking a shower. Since everyone was preoccupied with other things, Lex decided now was the perfect time to check out that mysterious book. She get up, puts her robe on, and heads down to the Common Room. It's early on a Saturday morning, so the place is deserted. Lex can look at that book without anyone bothering her.

She goes down to the common room and tries to take the book off the table, but it won't budge. "Why would someone put a sticking charm on a book," she wonders to herself. Lex tries to remove the charm but doesn't have any luck. "Well, I may not be able to move the book, but I still look at it." She opens the cover to find all the pages are blank. This really puzzles her. "Who ever heard of a big book like this one with blank pages? It's too big to be a diary or a jounal. I wonder if it's like Tom Riddle's Diary." Lex remembered reading about Tom Riddle's Diary in a book about Uncle Harry. Tom Riddle's spirit inhabited that book. She wonder if someone's spirit was inhabiting this book as well. If she remembered correctly, all you had to do was write something on one of the pages, and the spirit would write you a reply. Lex looks around the room for a quill and a bottle of ink. She finds one on the table by the window. The first years are always leaving their stuff lying around. She takes the quill and ink and writes a message on the first page of the book. "Hello, my name is Lex Winston." She watches as the ink disappears on the page just like it did in Tom Riddle's Diary. After a few minutes she expects the book to write a reply, but nothing happens. "This is getting me nowhere. When are you going to answer me, you silly book." Lex slams the cover down. This was the craziest book she had ever seen. "I haven't got all day to play around with you. I'll just report you to my brother, Jake, when he gets up. We'll see what he thinks about you. Besides Andi promised to tell me what happened at that spooky, old, mansion last night." Lex decides she'd better go back upstairs. She wanted to hear all about Rusty and Andi's adventure last night. Lex figured she'd better catch her sister before she had a chance to go to breakfast.
