Malfoy and MacNair are responsible for ruining more than one pair of my robes, and I owe them for that." She grinned cheekily and turned to stare out the window."

"Hey," he said, holding out his hands to show that he was unarmed. "I didn't come after you to hassle you about that minor bump. I just wanted to make sure you were okay since you seemed a bit spooked back there. There isn't anyone you need me to curse, is there?" he asked, raising an eyebrow before leaning in a bit and whispering. "And, just between you and me, you can bump into me anytime."

"I'm fine thank you, and I'm sorry I bumped into you. I was just in a hurry to get here before all the good carriages were filled." Lex blushes at his suggestion he would hex someone for her. "No, I can't think of anyone that I want hexed at the moment, but I will keep your offer in mind for the future." Flattered by his comments, she takes Bryce's hand and starts to have another vision. They are still in the restricted section of the library, but this time they are locked in a passionate kiss. Bryce starts to take off Lex's robe when she swings her arm around trying to help and knocks a row of books off the shelf. Neither of them notice it happening, they are too wrapped up in the moment. Then suddenly Lex hear a voice crying in the distance which brings her back to the present. She quickly lets go of Bryce's hand. Lex stands there staring at him while she shivers in the cold night.

Rusty answered with a laugh, "you can tackle me in the halls if you want, I'll show some things you won't believe, Brennan and Wendi's dad and uncle shoed me some things about this school that I don't even think they know about. I guess they thought I could use it plus Dad gave me this," Rusty held out an old bit of parchment to show Andi.

Andi laughed as she took the parchment. "I guess Uncle Harry wanted you to do your homework, Russ, but I'm sure he could have afforded some new parchment for you." She turned it around and around before sighing. "What is it? I give up. I'm not the smart one, Rusty. That would be Jake. Use small words."

Rusty decided he didn't want to reveal things without at least a bit of fun. "Go ahead....ask it a question," he said handing it back knowing that it probably sound wierd to her.

Joey opened the door for Wendi and pulled it back shut, not paying much attention to the latch as she greeted the Weasley. "Welcome aboard, Wendi. You do remember Charlie, I presume?" Joey asked, giving him a significant nod. Any second now, Wendi would do her whole spill and touch him, and introduce herself in a flashy fashion. It was amusing to Joey, but she'd seen it one too many times. Once again, she turned to lose herself out the window, leaning hard against the door. But, her lack of attention of the latch earlier, earned a freefall to the ground. The door swung open, and Joey tried to cling to it, but she lost her grip and landed in a clump in a mudpuddle.

Seeing Joey fall out of the carriage, Brennan jumps out after her. He gently helps her up out of the mud. "Are you alright, Joey?"

Andi stared at him for a minute. "Aunt Ginny has told me about 300 times not to talk to things if you can't see their brain," she scolded him, but she continued to look at the parchment. "Alright... I feel stupid. Can you reveal your secrets, parchment?... Please." She felt silly, but Rusty was grinning like crazy.

"No. No, I'm not alright. I just fell out of the carriage, Weasley, and into mud. Thanks though,"she said getting to her feet." I need to run back and get my other robes, though...," Joey didn't look back and ran back to the train, hoping it wouldn't take off again while she was aboard it and changing.

Nothing happened at first, but then as if somone was writing with a quill, letters began appearing on the parchment, "Messers Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs wishes to say greetings to you young lady and warns you to listen more carefully to your Aunt in the future......"

"Ha!" barked Rusty at reading the words and seeing Andi's embarassed face. "Sorry about that, but your Aunt did warn you.......if I can have that back, I'll show how it works"

Bryce was pleasantly surprised when Lex took his hand, though he was quite confused when she suddenly released it as he had been most gentlemanly. "I'll just escort you to the carriage with your friends and leave you there, unless you'd like to sit with me," he said as they approached a carriage with some of the Gryffs inside.

Lex is confused by what she had been seeing. She has never had visions like that before. She has also never had the attention of such an attractive Slytherin before either. Her mother had warned her about the MacNair family. They were loyal to Voldemort when he was alive, but Voldie was dead. Uncle Harry had defeated him. She didn't see any need not to enjoy Bryce's company at least until they got to Hogwarts. Lex could find Andie later and tell her what had been happening. "No, I think I would enjoy spending some time with you. It seems my sister decided to gone on ahead without me. I would love to share a carriage with you." Lex proceeded to wrap her arm around Bryce's and indicated for him to lead the way.

Brennan watches Joey take off in a hurry splattering mud all over him as she runs back to the train. "Women, I'll never understand them," he says. Brennan tries to brush some the mud off his robes and proceeds to get back in the carriage.

Andi handed it back to him with wide eyes, her cheeks pink. "I know what that is. My daddy told me about how he and your dad used to use it to sneak off to get in trouble and visit their girlfriends." She blushed more deeply, wondering if Rusty used it for that. "My dad tells me too much. How does it work?"

Orion had only been seated in the car for five minutes before Greengrass snuggled up to him and started cooing. He thought he was going to be ill but she simply protested that she'd forgotten her cloak. In a bit of inspiration, Orion jumped up and nearly hit his head on the roof of the carriage. "I'll get it for you," he ducked out of the car just before it took off, and Orion patted himself on the back. He realized his mistake, however, as the carriage he'd been in was the last in line. He'd have to walk to the castle.

Orion trudged over to the train, hoping to get his heavier cloak out of his trunk before walking towads teh castle. He was surprised to spot someone changing their robes on the train, and he turned his back to afford some privacy. "Er... sorry. I didn't think there was anyone left on the train."

Joey froze as someone came up behind her, her shirt midway off, and her robes still in her trunk. Thinking it must of just been one of the conductors, she went ahead and pulled the clean shirt over her head. "That's alright, I just had an acc..,"Joey stopped midsentence as she finally turned to see who'd walked in on her. "Malfoy...,"Joey whispered. "If you followed me back for a peep show, then you just missed your show, I'm afraid." She said, wrapping a piece of hair around her finger and puting a hand on her hip.

Orion turned at the sound of her voice and found an angry-looking Joey Potter. "Potter. Wonderful." He turned back around and headed down the corridor before turning and coming back. "If you didn't notice, I turned around. I don't have to sneak around to get my thrills. You might think I'm just a snake, but I'm a gentleman." He turned again and headed off for his cloak.

Joey rolled her eyes the first time he left, and shook her head on his second trip back. "Gentlemen...right." He was gone again, though before Joey could tell him otherwise. Dressing herself in mud-free clothes, she shut her trunk up tight and went back outside. She watched in horror as the last of the carriages were well on their way to Hogwarts. Hanging her head, she stepped back on the train, and walked back to where Malfoy had been. "Care to prove that gentlemen, statement?" Joey said, shortly, eyeing him with her bright green eyes.

Orion was fixing his cloak and fastening the silver serpent clasps when Potter reappeared. He would brush her off impatiently, but he knew that the carriages had all left as well as she now did. He didn't fancy walking alone in the dark, and he wasn't thrilled about the idea of Potter doing it either. Not that he cared what happened to her or anything...

"Yes, I'll escort you back to the school," Orion responded in a short tone that matched Potter's. "Do you have a cloak? It's wet out there and the temperature is falling." He rummaged in his trunk and handed him another of his. It was too long for her, but it would still be warmer than just her robes.

"I didn't ask you to escort me, just for the record," she said accepting the cloak. Joey was already dreading have to explain showing up to the castle late. Then adding the bonus of showing up late with Malfoy, and in his robes no less, made it that much worse. "And no arrogant funny business, you here? I know you and Bryce think you can have any girl you want, at any given time, and just because you have me alone doesn't mean a thing. I'll beat you alive with my fists, then I'll tell Rusty. So.. you remember that." Joey took a deep breath. "But thanks for the cloak..,"

"I don't have to attack women to get their attention, Potter. They actually attack me, which is one of the more stupid reasons I got out of my carriage just before it rolled off." He sighed deeply and held the door for her. She might be Potter, but she was still a lady and his mother was very specific about manners. "Now, if we hurry, we might make it to the feast on time." He exited the train and held out a hand for her to step to the ground before quickly burying his hands back in his cloak. "For the record, I'm not afraid of your brother. I'm scared to death of your flying fists of fury, though," his voice dripped with sarcasm.

"You should be afraid of my brother," Joey said, as politely as she could. "You can mock me... but you know he'd pound your shrimpy body to a pulp." She quickly hid her hands away, much in the same manner as Malfoy did. "So.. You make your move on Serenity, yet? I saw you laying it on thick earlier. It almost gagged me." Joey said, grinning over at him, and twirling her hair as the castle seemed to inch closer.

"I'm bigger than he is, Potter. I'm bigger than you standing on his shoulders. He might be a ferocious Gryff that I'm not going to be picking a fight with any time soon, but it isn't fear. It's self-preservation." They walked in silence for a minute before he spoke up about Serenity. "She's new and she's lovely and she doesn't know anyone. I don't see the harm in asserting myself if I'm interested. Jealous, Potter?" It was said without any real malice, as Orion was tired and didn't feel like walking up this huge hill with a girl that hated him.

Joey opened her mouth a few times, but no answer she could come up with was good enough. She wasn't jealous.. but she also couldn't tell him that she wasn't. It was a no win. If she said she was jealous (which she wasn't) his big head would swell three times it's already abnormally large size, and if she said she wasn't jealous, he'd probably just blow it off with a "yeah right" comment.

Joey sighed, "I'm not even going to go there, Malfoy." She paused to take a breath, and tie her hair back up. "But, you're interested in Serenity, hmm? It wouldn't be because of a certain last name she has would it?" Joey's eyebrows were raised up into her messy bangs, as she once again eyed Malfoy.

Bryce smiled as she wrapped her arm around his. "Well then, it's a good thing I've got one handy here," he said, offerring her his hand to assist her into the carriage with some second years who were eyeing him warily. "Don't be shy kiddies, it's just a couple of older students sharing your carriage."

He sat down next to Alexa and wondered if Orion would be around to see his catch when they alighted at Hogwarts. "I'm surprised you wanted to spend time with me. Normally, you avoid me or attempt to start something. Isn't this nicer? Just being civil?" he smiled, resisting the urge to place a hand on her knee.
