Neville had opened the shop that morning for Mrs. Arbors, she had begun letting him since she found him to be quite responsible. The moring rush for floral arrangements having died, he decided to take a break. He placed a magical sign onthe front door that would answer any question put to it as long as the asker was polite and locked the door. He decided it best to test the sign so he cleared his throat," ahem.....I would like to know what time the salesperson will return to open the store?" The sign remained blamk for a couple of seconds........and then as if a magical hand were writing in beautiful whispy blue scrolling letters, "well, since you are the salesperson, I guess it will be when ever you decide to return."

Neville's face blushed a bit, "ah....that is true, well I guess it's working just fine," so he turned and headed to the sandwich shop for some lunch.

He had walked down the alley a ways noticing all the witches and wizards that were filling the streets since term had ended. As he neared his lunchtime destinantion he stopped....."Harry, Ron.....what are you two doing here?"

"Neville!" Harry stood up and smiled, "I got your letter, sorry I didn't respond. I'm getting married, have you heard?" He indicated the store behind them, "Hermione and my fiancee are in there looking for dresses."

Elizabeth emerged, wearing a sleeveless, beaded gown with a fitted bodice and flowy skirt. She had a smile on her face as she twirled for Hermione.

Hermione smiled. The gown was beautiful. "It's gorgeous, Elizabeth..." She walked over and looked at the gown on her friend. "And it fits you well..." She looked up at her, to see what her opinion was... after all, it was her dress.

"I think this one's a winner. It feels really comfortable, and it's so pretty. Wow, I didn't think i would have found the right dress so quickly. I'll just get changed and we can get out of here". Elizabeth smiled happily, for the first time in days. She walked back into the changing room and changed back into her street clothes. She put the dress back on it's hanger and took it out to Jessica.

"I'll take this one - can i get it delivered to the burrow?" she asked.

"Yes, of course - I will send it tomorrow" said Jessica.

Elizabeth handed over the money for the dress, and turned to leave the store.

Hermione turned to Elizabeth excitedly, "Wow... this is great. Now we can worry about the other little details... it really is a gorgeous dress, Elizabeth," Hermione said as they walked outside the door to see Harry, Ron, and Neville.

"Oh, hello, guys, hi Neville! It's great to see you... how are you?" She asked.

Ron was about to answer Harry’s question, but then Neville arrived. He looked at Harry whose attention was at Neville. Therefore, he didn’t answer the question. He just stood up and said to his friend Neville, “Hello,” with a smile.

Shortly, Hermione and Elizabeth appeared. He greeted them with a big grin and asked, “What happened in your shopping?”

Hermione answered Ron with a smile on her face, "We found a beautiful dress... it's going to be wonderful. They are going to ship it to the Burrow tomorrow." She looked at them all with a huge smile on her face.

Harry smiled at Elizabeth, "I'm sure you'll look nice in it." He had alomost said "beautiful," but it seemd his conscience would not let him. He frowned again and wished he could change what was coming out of his mouth through his mind, because soon enough his thoughts would form into actions.

“You’ll be beautiful,” Ron nodded, beaming towards the ladies.

Feeling a cold wind rushed through his burnt hands, he decided to put his hands inside his jacket’s pockets. But first, he looked at it. His bandages were slightly peeled because of a cat’s scratch. A cat scratch? he thought. Maybe it’s Hermione’s little friend. He grinned, placing his hands inside.

“So where are we going next?” he interrupted them.

Hermione saw Ron putting examing his burnt had and she was itching to say something, but decided against it. She didn't want to be annoying. "Well, that's all we really came for, so I guess we could get something to eat and go home unless either of you two have anything you need to do."

Snape walked up from Knockturn Alley and squinted into the sunshine of Diagon Alley. He abhorred walking down these crowded streets. But, he needed some supplies which he would not find in the dark, twisted, shops in Knockturn Alley. He swept down the street past the various shops. He only stopped once in the street. It was in front of the Weasley's shop. The Weasley girl was sitting on the corner looking absolutely miserable. For a split second he thought about asking what was wrong but, then, thought better of it and simply walked past her, his cloak billowing out behind him in his haste to get out of the infernal summer sun and into the apothecary.

Luna stood in the room a bit longer after George had left. She then, waved her wand, putting all of her things away, before heading back down the stairs. She looked over at George and wondered, once again, why he was so upset with her. Shaking her head, she stepped out into the beautiful summer sun. She closed her eyes and lifted her face to the sky, drinking in the warmth and light. When she looked down and opened her eyes, her vision a little blurred by the intensity of the sun's rays, she saw Ginny sitting in the gutter. Luna sat down next to her friend and silently put a comforting hand on her back.

Ginny felt Luna's presence before she felt the girl's hand on her back, and the two sat in silence for a while, each lost in their own thoughts. Finally, Ginny broke the silence. "Am I the biggest fool in the world? You're my friend, so just give it to me straight. Because in the end, even though I know he loves someone else, I can't... there's a part of me that will hold out for him until I die."

Ron replied to Hermione’s question, “Nope, we don’t have plans. Right Harry?” He looked at his face. He could read that he was still distracted. He gave him a soft nudge and uttered, “Right Harry?”

Harry was surprised by Ron's voice. "Huh? Oh, yeah... no plans, nope..." He had been keeping his eye on the dot in the distance he could see that was Ginny. Someone else was with her now, but he couldn't tell who it was. He hoped it was just a friend, whoever it was.

"Good, then, I guess we can get lunch and then head home, if that's okay," Hermione said, grinning. Everything seemed perfect to her.

"You aren't a fool, Ginny," Luna said, sternly, kneeling down in front of her and put her hands on Ginny's knees. "You and Harry share a special bond. Nothing will ever be able to take that away. You can still let Harry go and love another person; and even go and love another person yourself. It doesn't mean that part of you can't always belong to Harry because you know, Ginny, part of you will always belong to Harry, just as part of Harry will always belong to you."

"Neville explained to Ron and Hary that he lived in the Leaky Cauldron for now and that he worked at the local Garden shop. He heard them talk about geting some lunch but he said that he had to get back to the shop so he told them all bye and that anytime they had more time, to stop by and see him and he went into his favorite sandwich shop, "Bye, see ya all....."

Ginny nodded slowly. It made her feel better - that she was allowed to hold onto a piece of her feelings for Harry and not be scared or upset about it. "But," Ginny added, "I need to let him go, don't I? I need to keep away from him to protect the both of us. Because when I'm with him, I don't remember that he's going to marry someone else, and sometimes, I think he doesn't remember either. And if he loves her, I don't want to do that to him. And I can't keep doing it to myself."

"How about the Leaky Cauldron?" Harry offered, knowing they would have to pass Ginny to get there. He felt a sudden need to be the one who was sitting by her now, even though he knew he shouldn't... or couldn't.

Hermione nodded, showing that she was okay with this, and she looked towards Ron to get his opinion.

"If neither of you are sure about your true feelings for one another then, you owe it to yourselves to spend some time together and find out. You can't avoid him forever; Ron is his best friend. And it's not going to get any easier unless you find out. You wouldn't want Harry to make a mistake and marry someone else when she isn't the one he truly loves, do you?"

Ginny set her jaw in a way her brothers' would identify as her most stubborn. "Harry had seven years to figure out if he loved me or not. Nothing has changed, and he's made his choice. And here he comes again," Ginny saw Harry and Ron coming back down the street, this time with Hermione and a blond woman who had an unmistakably proprietary way of holding Harry's arm.

Ginny swallowed hard and tried to recall a spell that caused the earth to open beneath your feet and swallow you whole. "She's very pretty, isn't she?"

George exited the shop, looking for his new shopgirl, who had never come back in. She was sitting on the curb next to the Looney Luna and looking pale. He also spotted Harry and company coming down the street. "Dobby, watch the shop for a moment," George tossed over his shoulder as he moved out into the street to offer a bit of moral support to his only sister.

Luna turned to look where Ginny was looking. She narrowed her eyes and studies the group as they neared, assessing the woman she didn't recognize. "Yes, she's pretty," Luna replied, sounding rather noncomittal despite the affirmative response.

"Whatever you guys want is fine with me," Ron said walking down the street. He pulled out his left hand to see if the bandages around it was peeling off. "Hmm... I think I'll buy some medical supplies for my scorched hand after lunch," he said to them. "If it's okay."
