Wyn let herself be led to a bench. "I... I can't tell you," she whispered. "I know something. Something bad. But I can't tell you."

She felt guilty, not only for burdening Jay in this way but also for taking refuge with the Gryffindor. Was this more betrayal of her house?

Day knicked a chocolate chip muffin and a glass of milk from the kitchens. SHe continued wandering around the halls, eating her breakfast, and not really caring where she was going or who she would meet.

Day went upstairs and Wyn went running off out the Slytherin house. Johnathan didn't know what to do, he was stuck to think about what had just happened. He decided to go after Wyn after a few minutes where he found Wyn in Jay's arms. John stopped dead in his tracks and was speechless, he wanted to be the one to hold her in his arms. But he just stood there, looking at them with his heart in his stomach. "Wha...why...?" he asked himself as he tunred back looking down.

Jay decided that he was going to finally get up the nerve to explain a few things that he had wanted to say to Wyn for awhile, "Wyn, I've been meaning to say something to you for a while now", he looked at her as she listened, "I noticed it earlier this term and even more yeaterday in detention" I don't have many frineds that I can talk to, ones that I can...well can spend time with and not feel awkward around, and fewer of them are girls, I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I fell very different about you than I have about other girls, I feel closer to you, able to tell you things I wouldn't tell to other people, maybe I'm wrong, but I think you've felt something too, I want you to know that if there is something wrong, I mean really wrong, something you need to talk about, I am here for you, I will listen without judgement," Jay gave Wyn a little tighter hug and hoped he hadn't just made a fool of himself and lost her....

Wyn weighed his words. She DID feel like she could trust Jay with anything... strange considering he was a Gryffindor. There was something to be said for having a mortal enemy, but...

"I... alright. Someone very dear to me... has taken the Dark Mark." She rushed all her words together, hoping that if she said it fast enough it would come out easier.

Jay listened as promised, he could tell this was very important to her to relieve herself of the weight of what she just learned, she hadn't said who she was talking about but by describing the person as being very dear to her and knowing that she and John had been frineds "since they were babies" he asked her, is it John?"

Day walked outside and saw John standing there, "HEY JOHN!!" she yelled and waved

She wanted to thank him for his concern earlier and to make sure he wasn't planning on telling her little secret.

As Johnathan walks off he bumps into someone, he looks up and see's Day. "Oh Day! I'm sorry..." He says looking saddened at her. "Are you feeling better? "

"Yeah, thanks. I'm sorry I was a bit of a mess earlier. I dont' know what came over me. You won't say any...." Day broke off and peered around John. "What is Wyn doing with that Gryff?" she said, pointing just as Wyn noticed that John was standing there.

"Don't ask me who it is," in a much more irritated voice than necessary. She swallowed and looked apologetic, but Day's shout grabbed her attention. Wyn turned, realizing for the first time that Jay still held her close. She spotted John, walking away from them.

"John!" Wyn said in surprise, wondering why she felt so guilty at being caught like this. Probably because she was snuggled up with a Gryffindor. In her pajamas. In the early morning.

"Well I'm happy your better," Johnathan told her still looking a bit down, "I dunno...but they look pretty...close..." He said hearing Wyn's voice call him. He turned around and smiled at her.

Jay looked up at the sound of John's voice, still thinking that he was the one Wyn had said took the dark mark, he moved around in front of her and with his hand on his wand in his pocket said in a stern voice to John, "what do you want now!"

"Watch it, John," Day said as she stepped around beside him, with her wand in her hand.

John looked at Jay with a confussled look and said, "What are you mumbling about you stupid Gryff!" he said with a laugh then turned to Day. "It's alright, I can handle this..." He told her as he moved close to Jay having his wand in his pocket in case of anything.

Day wasn't so sure. So, she kept her wand out but, remained where she was.

Wyn moved around Jay so that she was standing in between the two. She knew she looked silly, but she needed to stop this. Wyn was far from stupid, but she KNEW that she was not getting what was really going on here. This was more than a Gryff-Slytherin fued... it was much more personal.

"Gentlemen, let's settle down." For good measure, she added, "Please."

feeling stupidly protective Jay did something totally out of character and throwing Wyn behind himself he raised his wand and yelled "petrificus....he never finished the spell....

"Immobilus!" Day struck swiftly with the curse before Jay and John could finish speaking.

John was gonna back off when Jay stuck his wand out but right when John was gonna say something Day beat him to it. "Thanks Day.."He said.

Wyn hit the ground hard and had no time to react before Jay drew his wand and was cursed. He stiffened and fell to the floor.

"Stupid boys," she grumbled, crawling across the floor to check on him. Jay was fine, and Wyn ended the spell. "Don't move," she ordered, her wand still on him.

Johnathan was mad now, he went up to him on the floor while Wyn uncursed him. "What did you think you were doing? Never attack a Slytherin...especially two fully equiped ones!" He said motioning to Day also.

"What are you doing with him Wyn?!" He asked her with a saddened and mad look now. "First off not only are you in your pj's, he's a Gryff! And you were...hugging him! Closely! I know what I did to Day caused an out roar in our house! But this!...Why?!" he asked turning back.

Wyn kept her wand pointed at Jay. "Stay down," she said firmly but her voice wasn't threatening.

She looked up at Day who was approaching. "I was talking to him. Is that a problem?" She looked at John. "JUST talking. But even if I weren't... what concern is it of yours?" Her chin went up stubbornly.
