Johnathan's glance went from revenge and hatred to worried when Day sat down looking horrid and sick. "Day...are you okay?" He said sitting down beside her looking at her whole body to see if she was hurt.

Johnathan looked at her and noticed Day shiver. "Well I don't care what you say you look horid Day!" he told her with worry in his eyes. "What happened? And I know something did! You can't lie now Day! He did something to you didn't he?" He exclaimed looking at her up her down for some trace of something. "Maybe we should get you to the hospital wing...or Snape at least!" he said as he noticed her about to protest.

Wyn awoke in the early morning hours, the sun just peeking in through the window. She yawned and stretched, wondering why she was awake so early. She considered going back to sleep, but the pressing urge for a drink of water made her pull back the curtains to her bed. Her tiptoeing across the floor was halted at the sign of Day's made and unslept-in bed.

Recalling the conversation from the night before, Wyn was horror-stricken that she hadn't realized the meeting was so soon. She hurried to the Common Room in her pjs.

"No, no... I'm fine.. I just... " she said as tears began streaming down her face. She felt so ashamed. It had been such a wonderful evening; it was what she had dreamed of. She could take it, she was Datura Rosier, she could handle it...

"Day..." Johnathan said looking at her. "Your one of them now aren't you?" He said backing away a little in his chair looking at her a bit scared knowing what she had become now. More now...as one of them.

Day looked up at John and saw the concern mixed with fear. She wiped at her tears and nodded as she stared into the fire.

Wyn clomped down the stairs, making way too much noise. She didn't know where she was going or what she was going to do, but if she could just...

She stopped dead in her tracks when she got to the Common Room. John was standing with his back to her, his whole body stiff with tension. A tearful Day sat in front of him, looking pale.

Johnathan just stared at her, she had done it. But why so soon? Voldemort usually waited till after. He looked concerned not only for her but for himself, maybe they would use her to get to him. Either way he didn't wanna think about it now.

"I think you need sleep Day...I think Snape would cover up for you if you missed the day and your classes..."

"No. I can't miss classes. I'm just being silly," she said, slowly regaining her composure. "I.. I just need to get cleaned up."

" Are you sure Day?" Johnathan asked as he heard someone behind him. He turned around and noticed Wyn. "Wyn..." he said.

Wyn rushed to Day's side, enveloping the girl in a hug. She forgot for a moment the reason for her hurrying in the first place. The look on Day's face...

"What's wrong?" she said soothingly, then abruptly turned on John.

"JOHNATHAN MCMILLAN! Why can't you just leave her along?"

Day got up and tried to wedge herself between the two friends. "It's okay, Wyn. It wasn't John."

"I didn't do anything Wyn! I promise!" Johnathan exclaimed to Wyn. "Seee! " He said pointing to Day and her comment.

Still bristling a bit, and looking very bristly with her bed head, Wyn turned her back to John and looked carefully at Day. "Then what's wrong? Your bed is made and you weren't there all night and..." She wound up as if for a very good ramble.

"I'm fine Wyn. It's just... " she said absently rubbing a hand over her arm (when would it stop burning?) "I just want to take a bath and get into some new clothes, please?" Day pleaded. She was feeling better after standing by the fire.

Wyn KNEW. She saw the absent-minded way that Day rubbed her forearm. She shivered violently and bit her lip to keep from crying out. She couldn't make a scene.

"Okay, Day. Sleep in a bit. I'll get you before our first class."

"Thanks. But, I don't think I could sleep right now. I'll just take my bath and get changed," Day said walking over to the dorm to get a change of clothes.

Day got her change of clothes and walked back through the common room on the way to the bathroom.

Day felt much better after her bath. The mark wasn't burning as much anymore and washing all the grime off helped her regain her focus. She looked down at the mark and smiled. She'd done it. She was now a Death Eater. When she was finished dressing, she began the walk back to the common room.

As soon as Day was out of sight, Wyn let out a sob. She pushed her way out of the Common Room, needing to be as far from anything Slytherin as she could. She moved blindly, and she was very fortunate that she wasn't caught.

Day's pale face rose in her mind, and Wyn felt for the girl. But her heart was also concerned with her own indecision and feelings of being left behind. She sniffled quietly to herself and called herself all kinds of pathetic.

Jay had gotten up early, he wanted to get some flying in before going to classes, he was headed towards the entrance when he stumbled upon Wyn, He could tell she was upset about something, all of a sudden flying was the farthest thing from his mind, "Wyn?," he asked, "you okay?"

Wyn looked up at Jay with tear-filled eyes. She had forgotten that she was still in her pajamas and looking rather sleep-mussed. She had forgotten that it was early morning and she was out barefoot in the corridors.

"Jay!" she cried in surprise. She didn't know the boy well, but he was a welcome sanctuary from the madness that was Slytherin house. She barreled into his arms, knocking him backwards in a tight hug. She sniffled against him.

Day put her dirty clothes back in her dorm and then decided to stroll the corridors. After warming up and having her bath, she was too wired to sleep. Instead, she thought she'd go and find an early breakfast in the kitchens.

Jay felt the impact of Wyn knock the two of them back against the wall, just before she collapsed into his arms he noticed that not only was she still dressed in her bed clothes, she was very upset about something, "oh my god Wyn", he said trying to regain his balance, "what's happened", he tried to usher her over to the nearby bench
