Jay was surprised that Wyn knew so muchabout him, erveryone knew about Harry but other than on the Quidditch pitch, he wasn't that popular...."uh no they aren't very nice, I asked Harry why we had to go there and he said something about Dumbledore and a spell.... what about your family, where do you live?" he said as he noticed Day squeeze the eyeballs from one of the creatures...

Harry finally got p enough courage to ask Day something that had been on his mind for awhile, he figured that after a couple of creature disections he night be able to, "uh...Day, now don't get me wrong I'm not making any judgements, but what happend to your father, I mean I know the real Mad-eye killed him trying to bring him in but.....I mean ...what was he like, were you close," then Harry looked away and under his breath said, "I wish I knew my parents...."

Wyn realized that Jay wasn't overly concerned about the neatness of their work and she stepped back to her original place. "My family?" she repeated. "My family is boring. Old house, old money, old family... I'm a pureblood," she said a bit proudly. "The house is in Surrey. It's beautiful there. We have this garden..." her eyes lit up as she started to describe her home, but she caught herself and smiled sheepishly. "I bet that's more than you wanted to know. What about you? Where is our Gryffindor golden boy from?"

Day's face turned red as she tried desperately not smack Harry across the room. She'd done enough in front of witnesses already this year. Through clenched teeth she answered him, "I was two... how am I supposed to remember someone from when I was two?" She took several deep breaths and placed her dirty hands in her lap. Her hands were clenched so tight that her fingernails were cutting the palms of her hands.

realizing that it was a pretty stupid question, Harry repsonded, "well are you close to your Mother then, does she talk about your father often..." he decided that maybe he ought to try and squeeze the eyes out of one of them now...

Day slowly unclenched her hands. There were little red half-moon marks on the palms of her hands. She rubbed them on her thighs as she answered, "Um.. yeah. It's really important that I remain worthy of his name so she made sure I knew all about him."

Jay saw Wyn move away slightly and wasn't sure what happend, he kinda liked having her close..."uh Golden boy well everybody knows about Harry," he said but seeing that you know who I'm talking about look on Wyn's face he cleared his throat, yea we're pureblood too, not that means much to me though....anyway, I live with my parents on what I guess you could describe as a farm, it's in the rolling hills about a days trip north of London a little town called New Kensington, we have a garden too but not many flowers, mostly food, we like to grow our own food, it seems to taste better...." he stopped thinking that maybe he was rambling too much , but he liked the idea of having Wyn's attention, he didn't even notice how many of the little creatures were sacrificing their eyse for the two of them.....

Wyn watched Jay's face grow animated as he spoke of his farm and she smiled. At one point, she reached up to push her hair out of her face, silently cursing herself for not taking the time to put it up in its usual braid for the morning. Her hands were sticky and dripping all sorts of foul liquids, and she stared at them in disgust. Wyn's face paled. "I think I need to sit down," she murmured.

Jay continued as he saw Wyn sit down, she didn't realize it but she had used her hand to get her hair away from her eyes and now had creature guts and eyeball juice hanging in her hair, Jay grabbed a towel off the table and leaning over said "exuse me, but" he reached over and with the caress he uses while grooming some of his anilmals he gently wiped the goo out of her hair, it was then that he noticed her eyes.....

Harry wasn't sure what she meant by"remain worthy of his name""do you mean that you support Voldemort", the question came out before he could stop it...

Day winced at Harry's use of the Dark Lord's name. "Yes. I support the Dark Lord," she said. Noticing his look of obvious surprise at this confession, she continued, "To deny him would be traitorous. My family has always believed in standing up for your beliefs. We don't hide who we are; we are proud of who we are." How many times had ber mother told her those exact words in comfort when she missed having a father. "Datura, your father was a noble man. We Rosiers don't hide who we are; we are proud of who we are."

Johnathan walked down the dungeon hallways looking around still awfully scared someone will attack. 'Oh come on John!' He told himself. 'Who would be stupid enough to kill me in Hogwarts, where Dumbledore keeps watch on!' He said as he smacked his head then regretted it because it was still a bit sore" Ahh!" he screamed as he clutched his sore head. "I won't do that again..." he whispered as he walked the halls.

Johnathan noticed that Snapes class was open and he heard voices. Snape was probably giving detention and making someones life hell. He decided to go and ask Snape if he knew if Dumbledore was in his chambers.

He walked up to the class and noticed Day, Wyn, Harry, and Jay. His heart jumped at the site of Wyn but then his fist tightened at the site of Day. He was gonna ignore them he said as he walked in and walked up to Snape.

Wyn held still while Jay wiped something out of her hair. She wanted to close her eyes and turn away from whatever he pulled out of her hair. The very thought made her shiver.

But he caught her eyes, his hazel eyes intense in their look. She couldn't look away for what felt like forever.

Finally, she broke the gaze and blushed darkly. "So, you're in charge of the Gryff duelers, right?" She didn't wait for a reply. "Would you teach me? I have trouble... I have trouble hexing people," she said, surprised at her honesty with this virtual stranger.

Harry trying to contain himself responded," I don't deny that Volde..." he saw Day cringe, "okay he-who-must-not-be- named (he couldn't bring himself to say Dark Lord) followed his beliefs, his ere as old as the wizard world itself, but he and you must understand that can't including killing non-pureblood wizards justbecause of their lineage, or in the case of my parents purebloods that marry them"

Once Johnathan walked up to Snape his gaze turned to Wyn and Jay. They were getting close and Johns heart and stomach sank in. He turned his gaze to Snape again without paying attention, his mind was still on Jay and Wyn.

"Oh I'm sorry Professor!" John said as he put them in the back of his mind with his heart. "I was wondering if...well you perhaps knew if Professor Dumbledore was awake and in his office. I must speak to him imediately sir." He said with great urgency in his voice.

Jay was looking deep into Wyn's eyes when she asked about the dueling, his heart lit at the thought of teaching her spells, then his attention was drawn to John who had just walked in and was talking to the Professor, "why do you have anyone in mind you want to hex,?" nodding towards John

"From what I've heard," Day said tauntingly, leaning in close to Harry. "Your parents weren't killed because of your mudblood mother. They were killed because of you." With the word you, she poked his chest, and then started working on extracting more eyeballs.

"The Headmaster is extremely busy. What is it that you need to speak with him about?" Snape said, insulted that someone from his house should like to speak with the Headmaster without first informiing him of the problem.

Harry looked away from Day when she called his mother a mudblood, how dare she she never knew her....in fact neither did Harry, he'd seen here in Snape's pensive, and the mirror and herad her voice in the field while locked in battle with Voldemort but he lowered his voice to her comment about the true target being him..."most of the time I wish he had succeded, it would have made a lot of things easier"

"Ummm.." John hesitated as he looked around the room. He worked out everything in his mind and against his better judgement gave Snape the note.

"Here..." John said as he passed the note to Snape. John waited on what he would say as he watched everyone's eyes on his back looking.

Wyn followed Jay's nod to see John at the front of the room speaking to Snape. She hadn't even noticed him come in, which only made her blush again.

"John!" Her face lit up at the sight of her best friend. "What? No... no I couldn't hex John. He's my dearest friend. I've known him since we were babies."

Snape carefully read through the note. When he was finished he looked back up at John. "I'll speak with the Headmaster about this as soon as we are finished here. I can't risk leaving these four in the same room together without supervision. Go back to the dormitory and meet me in my office tomorrow morning to discuss this further."

Day turned back to look at Harry and actuallly felt sympathy for him. She shook her head. "Look, I didn't mean that she... I mean... I'm sorry you didn't get to know them," she said, looking down at the floor.
