"Oh, okay," Wyn said as Jay stood. She was surprised that she was sorry to see the Gryff go. She understood however. Slytherins were not particularly forgiving.

"I'm sorry that you're stuck in detention with us. It probably won't be so bad. It's only one night."

"oh don't be sorry, Jay said, then under his breath with a smile he added, "I'm not", then noticing Draco and Day entering the Hall he turned, "well, better go now, see you in class" Jay turned and headed towards Harry who was eyeing the doorway as if he felt something

Draco wiggled free from Day and straightened his robes.
You didn't have to do that, you know. Look around, not a single person in sight. And I guess you are right. Let's go.
They entered the Great Hall and made their way to the Slytherin table, and he was shocked to see Jay sitting on their tables.
You see what I'm seeing, Day? Why is that annoying Quidditch captain of Gryffindor hanging out in our table?

Wyn watched Jay scurry across the hall, then caught sight of Day and Draco in the doorway. No wonder he played Quidditch; he had good reflexes.

Crabbe and Goyle appeared from down the hall, carrying books and other stuff.
That's good. You two didn't forget to bring mine. How about the class schedules?
Goyle brought out a piece of parchment and desperately tried to read it.
Goodness! Can you read it, Day? And please, if you see anything there that has the name Gryffindor, don't even mind saying it.
He noticed Mattie came up to them. He just gave a weak smile.

"Well Im having pancakes this morning, Day. And I'm sorry about the detention. THough I kind of expected it. *she said with a chuckle* Is the detention tonight?

*She noticed the weak smile from Draco, and gave a smile back. Mattie wondered why he was acting so awkward around her.*

Day took the class list from Greg, "Let's see, Triple Potions with... today. Transfiguration with the Huffies tomorrow, Charms with Ravenclaw on Wednesday with Care of Magical Creatures with... for those taking that class in the afternoon," Day blanched, she couldn't understand why Draco would take that class with that oaf. "Um... Thursday is Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, and Divination. And Friday is special N.E.W.T. study groups, we've been partnered up and I'm with :o Argh." She threw the paper which landed in Mattie's breakfast. How could they pair her up with that piece of filth, Potter?

*Mattie watched as a flying piece of paper came flying her way and landed in her just finished breakfast and giggled*

"Let me guess, you've been paired with a Gryffindor for N.E.W.T's?"

*She unfolded the paper and saw that it was not just any ole Gryffy..it was the famous Potter*

"Now that should make Friday's interesting."

"How could they DO this to me!?" Day began to rant. "I'm going to have to speak to Snape about this!" She grabbed the paper out of Mattie's hand and double-checked: "Datura Rosier- Harry Potter" and then flung it back onto the table again.

Ron hurried back into the Great Hall, late for breakfast.

He grabbed the closest seat at the Gryffindor table and looked around for a friend to talk to. He shovelled food onto his plate.

When Johnathan went to search for Wyn the night before she had already gone up to the girls dorms leaving John unable to speak to her. He woke early this morning and had already had an early breakfast unable to sleep. He was outside taking a walk when he decided that the others were probably awake by now so he went inside to the great hall.

Guin had just woken and decided to get dressed and get some breakfast. She gathered her things and made her way down to the great hall. As she entered she noticed Jay and Ron and some other Gryffs still there. She walked over and took a seat.

Day swings around to watch John walking in. Why couldn't HE get stuck with Potter? "Why me?" she yells loud enough for the entire hall to hear.

Ron watched as Guin came into the Great Hall. He beckoned for her to come and sit beside him.

"There's an empty seat right here."

John notices Mattie as she throws something at him." Umm yeah I guess." He said with a laugh. "I just kinda woke up early thats all...you?" He said as he looked at the paper.

"Hmmm whats this?" He says as he opens it. Then he hears a scream and looks at Day. "Whats up with her? Hmm.."

"Oh thanks Ron." Guin says as she sits. "So how was your night back?" She asks as she takes some juice and suasages.(sp?)

"I'll tell you what that is!" Day yells, tearing the paper from John's hands. "It's a mistake. There is NO way they can make me...." she couldn't finish she was so upset.

Johnathan just gave Day a very puzzling look and tried not to laugh over her hysterics. "Umm right..and the mistake would me?" He asked.

Guin laughed at Rons comment. "haha I see...well I slept alright. Well of course there weren't any snoring so yeah." She said with a grin as she ate.

"We've been assigned partners for the N.E.W.T. study groups on Fridays," Day began, regaining her composure. "I've been partnered with... that... mudblood-loving... sorry excuse for a wizard.. Gryffindor..." she continued through gritted teeth, unable to say the name again.
