Draco couldn't sleep well that night, so he got up at 6:00 A.M., without trying to bother Crabbe and Goyle. He changed to his school robes and decided to just sit back in the common room.

Ooh... Just wait until I've unleashed my plans yet. What they saw yesterday hasn't anything to do with me, but it's a taste of things to come.

He grinned sheepishly at the thought, but stopped mumbling as he came out of the hall from the boys dormitories and saw Bronwyn sitting there.

Up early, eh? Mind if I join.

He sat comfortably on the chair across from Bronwyn and gave her a meaningful glare.

Wyn looked up at Day in surprise. She hadn't even heard her come into the room.

"Thanks." She said shortly. Day began to leave, when Wyn called out to her. "I do appreciate it. I know it isn't your fault. I'm just being stupid because the detention is from Snape, of all people."

Wyn was surprised when Malfoy joined her on the couch, but she wasn't surprised by his glare. She glared back at him.

Draco noticed Day come up to the common room as well. He gave her a weak smile and said.
I forgot my manners and wasn't able to congratulate you for your fine job last night. You're planning to talk Snape out of giving you detention, eh? Mind if I join you. I think I can help you with that.

Day looked back. "I know.... hey Draco! Sure, come along if you like," she said before turning on her heel and exiting the common room.

Wyn watched Day leave, then turned to Draco. "I guess she can handle Snape by herself. She's a big girl."

When he glared at her again, she snapped out, "What's with the glaring? Do you really think you know me well enough to hate me this much?"

Draco glared at Bronwyn again and said.
You just have to deal with it. I'm like that, and you can change it. Excuse me, but I want to go with Day, and no one, not even some one like you, can stop me.
He shot a final menacing look at Bronwyn before leaving the common room and heading to Snape's office.

"Someone like me? What the heck is that supposed to mean?"

Wyn felt her normally very placid temper flare and wondered what it was about Malfoy that drew her anger out. Knowing she wasn't going to be content to just sit and pout any longer, Wyn headed to the Great Hall. Breakfast probably hadn't started, but she'd just take the longest route possible.

Day turned around to see Draco making his way toward her as she arrived at Snape's office. Giving him a smile, she knocked on Snape's door and enetered the office.

"Excuse me, sir. I've just come to apologize for my behavior at teh feast last night and..."

"Your behavior was inexcusable and no amount of apology or begging will get you out of detention," Snape sneered from across his desk.

"I understand that, sir. It's just, Wyn, Miss Darcy (?), wasn't involved at all and I didn't want her to have detention on my account."

"Well, you should have thought of that before you jinxed Potter," Snape said. "You may go. Whas there something you wanted, Mr. Malfoy?"

Harry didn't believe Jay when he said ,"just talking"but he didn't feel like pursuing it right now, he had other things on his mind, "hey are you hungry?", he asked Jay

"yea, I am, but promise me, that we'll get through breakfast without wearing any food this time..."

"I can't promise anything this year," Harry said, "I have a feeling we're all going to have be on guard all the time....come on let's go" and he and Jay left for the Great Hall throwing some old trainers at Ron as they went

Wyn was surprised to see that breakfast was being served so early. She sat at the far end of the nearly empty table and grabbed a piece of toast.

Draco spoke in an odd way. It seems that he still respects Snape, after all the things that he has done for his father.

I would just like to say, Professor, that Day here only acted upon her intuition. It's obvious that Potter is becoming proud of himself and wants to be the center of attention once again. As for Day, isn't it a bit obvious that she was humiliated when she got hit by the "full body-bind spell"? I personally believe that she be given a lighter punishment than what you would give to Potter, because she suffered more than that Harry.

He thought that this would surely change Snape's mind. Snape has always favored anything that he says or wants, and he hopes that Snape still do.

Harry and Jay walk into the Great Hall

Jay notices Wyn sitting by herself and he turns to Harry,"uh look mate don't ask me any questions but I think I should go talk to her," Jay motions to Wyn

Harry looks over to Wyn and then back at Jay, "hmmm, I don't see Day anywhere, so... I'll be at our table," he began to move away, "but remember, keep your guard up" and Harry walked away

Jay watched Harry leave and turned towards Wyn....

Wyn threw bits of her toast at some first year Hufflepuffs sitting nearby. She looked up and saw Jay headed towards the Slytherin table. "That's unusual," she thought to herself, just before realizing he was coming to speak with her.

"Thank you for your opinions, Mr. Malfoy. However, I believe Miss Rosier could use a little reminder that we don't go cursing people in the middle of the Great Hall. Now, you two had better get some breakfast before classes begin."

*Mattie had slept late as usual and woke up hungry as usual. So she threw on her Slytherin robes and made her way dowm to the Great Hall, looking a little groggy but still with a glowing smile on her face. She took a seat and said cheerfully to all around*

"Good Morning!"

Wyn eyed the Slytherin table. It was empty except for some second years in the middle, but there were a good number that would hex Jay right out of his socks if they saw the Gryff Quidditch captain sitting there.

"It's your life," she shrugged, pointing to a seat for him. "Are you angry with me about the detention?"

looking around the Slythierin table, "I'll take that chance", said Jay, "naw it's not your fault we got detention, us Gryffs have gotten used to it if we want to hang around him," Jay points to Harry who was looking over to see if he was okay, "I really feel badly that you had to get drawn in to it though, I can't believe Snape would do that to his own house", then Jay added, "did the pudding come out?"

God, I hate him now. I thought he would listen to me. If only I can tell father about this.

"What?" She laughed. "Oh, yeah, the pudding. I gave the robe to a house elf. It should be good as new soon."

She looked at Jay carefully. "So... are you mad that you have to share the detention with not only Snape but also some Slytherins? I'm sure Potter is thrilled to be spending quality time with Day. I'm sure they're going to be the best of friends," she added sarcastically.

*Mattie sighs. No one seemed to even notice her as usual. She looked around and didn't see Day, but Mattie had just left the dorm and knew she wasn't there and decided to ask Wyn*

Wyn, sorry to interupt, but where is Day this morning?

Wyn looked at Mattie, who had just joined them. "I think she went to speak with Professor Snape this morning. She should be here shortly."

Day grabbed ahold of Draco's sleeve. "Don't worry about him," she said, jerking her head towards Snape's office. "He's just made 'cause I did it in front of all those witnesses. Besides, your father has more important things to worry about than me getting a detention. Come on, let's go get soemthing to eat; I'm starving."

Jay stayed quiet while Mattie asked her question, "oh she's on her way huh?" he said to Wyn, "well then I better get back to my table, I don't want her to see me talking to you,he added quickly, about detention, any idea what we're going to have to do?"
