Johnathan watched the whole scene happen with the Gryff's. He didn't wanna cause any trouble so he just stayed back without a word. Soon he would do something without the glancing of the Professors on him. He heard bits and pieces of the conversation between Wyn, day and Mattie but choose to stay out of it talking with other Slytherin's.

He then noticed Day fall and got up to help her, "Day! She's cursed!" he said trying to find something to help her.

Guin watched the Slytherin girls come over and watched the commotion happening. She noticed that Wyn another Slytherin was still there and that all of a sudden Harry started acting weirdly with his legs. She walks over to them.

"Harry! Are you ok?!" She asked glancing at Wyn who was there with Jay and Harry. "What did you do to him?!" She demanded.

Wyn felt her hand being tugged and noticed Mattie standing there looking concerned. She let herself be dragged a few feet before Professor Snape showed up.

"Potter, Winston, Darcy, Rosier," he called across the hall ... "Detention. Tomorrow."

Wyn sputtered and turned red.

Harry looks at Mattie, "of course I'm alright!," he said it a little rougher than he wanted, in a softer voice he continued, "I just didn't expect it on the first day of term, ...and not from her..." his voice trailed off

Jay saw Mattie reach for Wyn, "you should probably go, I'm sorry you got caught in this, it's sort of a hazard being around him," he told Wyn, "Ron and I learned that, a couple of years ago, "I think I will get him outta here and upstairs, I'll see ya tomorrow,"
Jay grabbed Harry and whispering something to Ron, he and Harry left with one last glance back towards Mattie and Wyn headed back towards the Slytherins.

Johnathan was relieved Mattie knew what to do and sat back in his seat properly. Then he noticed Mattie go over to Wyn at the Gryff table and he wanted to go but then snape came and Mattie pulled her back. He noticed her run off and got worried. he noticed Mattie give him a look and after waiting about 5 minutes he couldn't take it any longer and got up and went to see where Wyn went.

Before Guin was able to see what was properly happening Mattie came over and then Snape happened. Mattie pulled the other Slytherin girl named Wyn back before being able to say she was sorry and wrong.

'Oh dear!' She thought. 'I didn't get a chance...' and she walked back to her seat near Ron.

*Leigh sits in the Slytherin Common Room staring at the fire just thinking about the nights events. She was confused about all that had happened and decided to just think until someone came in and talked to her*

The first years settled into their new surroundings and went to sleep. The sun rose up over Hogwarts; the begining of a new day.

Jay got up the next morning and looked around the dorm, Ron and the others were still asleep except for...."now where did he go," Jay said as he looked towards the empty bed of Harry's.
As he finished getting changed, Harry came up the steps and into the room.


"uhh good morning Jay", said Harry, "I didn't expect you up yet" he walked over to the window.

"where've you been, trying to hex Day while she sleeps...", Jay said with a giggle.

"oh, uh, no, although I bet if we got the invisibility cloak out..." Harry!

"Just kiddin, no, I had to go send an owl and I didn't want to see too many people on the way, that's all", Harry answered finally, then he added, "so thell me about Wyn, what's going on with you two?"
