Johnathan tries to not make anything of Draco coming over so he just agnored him and watched the sorting.
He kept glancing back though seeing him and the other's in conversation.

Guin was talking with the other Gryff's around her seeing Ron eye the Slytherin table and wondered what his interest with them were. She also noticed Jay looking over and now she was just weirded out trying to figure these boys out.

Professor McGonagall walks in with the first years looking terrified no doubt by the stories from the more senior students, she walks them single file up to the front of the room and turns to face them and the four great tables in the hall, "uh ummm" she says as the rooms grows quiet, "this is the sorting hat and, in a moment I will read each of your names in alphabetical order, you will come up front and place the hat on your head, it will tell you to which house you will be sent, your house will be like your family while you're here at Hogwarts"
she moves out of the way slightly and reveals an old torn witches hat with a tear in the side sitting on a three-legged stool. The new students are amazed as the tear opens up as a mouth ans the hat begins to sing

the roar of the hall was deafening as the students stood to cheer, the professor quieted them down again and, pulling a long parchment out started reading Alonzo, David.......and on and on....

Day thought about the sorting hat's song. Choices... she had already made up her mind what she wanted to do, but would she be able to manage it?

Jay glances back from the Slytherin table and looks past Ron, he almost chokes as he sees Harry sitting there, "where the heck have you been? he yells making a few new Gryffindors look

"SHHhhh, Jay," said Harry trying to lay low,"you don't have to let the Beauxbatons know..." Harry continued, "the Headmaster let me come back to school a couple of weeks ago, he's been giving me some more Occlumency lessons, I think I've pretty much got it now" Harry turned towards Ron, "where's Hermoine?"
