Marissa sighed. "what is your problem? Your a Slytherin, I should have figured, all you guys EVER care about is yourself. And only yourself. You could probably care less about tonight. And you know why people aren't stalking through are common room?! I'll give you one guess!" she said temper raising... "OH! Let me think... wait... someone was kidnapped! Now lets all go back to the Gryffindor common room and celebrate, would that make you feel better, that people could come into are common room." she snapped she stopped as they went over to Ron, a fellow Gryffindor. "pfft!" Some guys are so arrogant she thought to herself. Not much she could do about it though.

She looked about the common room not touching anything, she looked at the shelfs, the furniture, though if there was any evidence, most of it would be gone, seeing as half the school body was in the room, nothing would be in the same spot as it was originally. She sighed, she wanted to know what happened, many did not know, but this would affect her in more ways then one. Possibly more then anyone else in the room, yet no one would ever understand. No one would believe her... they just wouldn't. But she would do whatever she needed so she could find out the truth, she didn't want the jumble and beded story, she wanted the soild evidence. She listened to all the chit chat around her and continued studying the room, out of pure rage from her earlier discussion... "thinks he can just walk away to save his own gut... slytherins will always be slytherins" she muttered still furious.

"Well, that's what you were doing, and I tell it like it is...and who are you calling attention seeking?" Ron had expected something like this from Nott sooner or later. "If you didn't want all the attention, maybe you shouldn't have been up there late at night screaming about a monster, and then back out of it. What are you trying to hide, anyway? Perhaps you're the liar, since you won't give the Aurors a straight answer."

The Auror that had been questioning Ron got to his feet to stop Nott from advancing through the crowd, but there was still a considerable distance to cover...

"Oi, watch it," Gideon said lazily as Nott plowed into him, attempting to push him aside. He swiftly stuck his hand into the Slytherin's pocket and pulled out something long and wooden, which he slid up his sleeve and out of sight as Theodore Nott passed him and started yelling at the red-haired Gryffindor prefect. Nobody noticed, primarily because they were either watching Ron or Theodore, and Nott himself was too furious to have felt his wand part company with his robes. Gideon chuckled to himself, feeling that the situation just got a whole lot more interesting, then busied himself trying to fight for his space in the crowd.

Nott glared fullheartedly, "I. Was. Not. There!" he said. "I can't believe you are abck to that silly story, Weasley, I saw no monster and I never said I saw it! So if you saw this person screaming about a monster, I can assure you it was not me."

(ooc: so you know, I will take the character of Dumbledore from now on^^)

"I think that's enough Mr Nott," said a stern voice and upon looking up Theodore saw the face of one weary Headmater Dumbledore. The Headmaster didn't pray his eyes off him until he arrived the centre of the room and called for everyone's attention, helding both hands up over his head.

"Now attention please," he called. The appearance of the Headmaster did its trick quite nicely shutting everyone up. "I understand it is not common occurrence to have Ministry Workers over the place, but let's behave like gentlemen and ladies each and, as it is said, "clear up" for the Aurors to do their job. Now, I am guessing most of you are missing supper so let's head to the Great Hall for breakfast as I am sure most of you need it - Oh, Fudge if you allow me I will take the children now as I asume you are done with them - Now, now, don't push, there's no need."

Without allowing Fudge to have a said on it, Dumbledore lead the way to the Great Hall with all (or at least most) of the student body following behind.

It was no suprise. After all, Fudge's authority had gone poor and low as well as the number of voters for his next campaign since the Not-Voldemort-Here fiasco. Even the Aurors seemed to be ignoring him.

Tinny glanced around at the Aurors all swarming about and cursed her inability to sleep. She glared at several of the investigators who were looking at her as if debating whether or not to question her and they looked away with her icy stare. "Right," she said to herself. "As if I'd bloody tell them what I heard last night. I've got enough trouble as it is without the Ministry of Magic prodding me for information every three seconds."

She shuddered as she remembered the horrible noise she'd heard. It was like someone screaming only more high-pitched and it sent a shiver coursing through every inch of her body, like someone dumping ice cold water all over her or walking through a ghost. Her bones hurt and her teeth scraped against each other. Surely she hadn't been the only one to hear it? Surely there was someone else who would say it, even if she refused to talk with the Aurors?

She shook her head and rubbed her eyes with the heels of her hands, pushing back a yawn and scratching at her collar like some human pet. As her hand touched the magic-bound leather, she scowled, her fingers tingling with the power that went into making the restrictor. Months of work had not been able to remove the blasted thing and Tinny was beginning to believe that she would be stuck with it for the rest of her life. She let her hand fall to her side and her scowl deepened when she glance across the common room at Fudge, who was being overridden by Dumbledore. She smiled almost too sinisterly for a Gryffindor at the bumbling Minister as she followed her Headmaster to the Great Hall.

"Hey, Marissa," Tinny said with a small, exhausted smile as she clapped the girl on the shoulder. "They got you too, huh?"

Ron wasn't about to let Nott weasel out of the situation that easily (pardon the choice of words), even though he wanted quite badly to leave so he could have a decent breakfast before classes began. If either Harry or Hermione had been around, they would have been able to stop Ron from going too far...but as it was, neither seemed to be in sight. The Gryffindor prefect walked straight up to Nott, so that he was looking down on the boy.

"You're hiding something, aren't you? There's something about this monster you don't want anyone to know...oh, let me guess, it's got something to with You-Know-Who, and you want to save your own skin. Well, that's not going to happen, is it, with the Ministry around. By the way," Ron cast a glance around the Slytherin Commons, "I don't see any of your mates around. What happened to them, got eaten up by the beastie?"

Diverting her attention from Marissa to Ron, Tinny steared over to the Prefect who may have been taller than most of the others around him, but was only one or two taller than herself. Her Head Girl badge flashing proudly at her chest, she put a slow hand on Ron's shoulder and said softly, "Oy, Ron. It's okay. The Aurors are bound to find something they can use and the missing kid will turn up. Let's go to the table, then, eh?"

(ooc: ok people, must appologize, I want to let you know that I am still here but I won't be able to post until tomorrow - and idioticy of my part. I am stil winded there are so little people here... )

Nott was about to shout his heart at Ron for that disgraceful like of attitude when Asric, to his surprise, stood for him. He razoned he had better things that wasting time with Gryffindors who tried to play detective, as a Slytherin he had to take care of much more important things. The Dark Lord, yeah, like this was something the Slytherins would seek. He started to make his way to the Great Hall, feeling like there was something missing and especially... as if his body felt lighters...

Marissa turned, but quickly saw Tinny turn away. Marissa didn't bother too much, she wasen't in the modd for anything, she had important things to do, and number one on the list, was to find out what happened. She needed to know. She knew she would most likely have no more luck here, so she left the common room and headed down to the great hall...

...before she knew it, she was seated at her table, her feet just dragged her alone as thoughts formed in her head. Everyone was talking about it or just there plans for the day... how could everyone be so careless, how could everyone act as someone just went missing? Did they not see... she knew they wouldn't. What was she thinking? It was Hogwarts, where everything was always perfect and happy, or nor enough, people needed to see past the 'everything will be ok' this time! She didn't think it would... she was almost sure it wasen't. She stopped her thoughts long enough to get a piece of toast which she took a bite out of and set down. Her stomach didn't need food, she was too worried about the outcome of the kidnapping...

Ron glared at Nott's retreating form before relaxing. He nodded to Tinny. "Yeah...I suppose he isn't worth it anyway..." he glanced back at the Aurors. "They didn't say which Slytherin has gone missing, did they?"

Ron walked with Tinny towards the Great Hall, still musing this over to himself. I hope it's Malfoy, the stupid little git, it would serve him right...

Gideon hung around the Sytherin Commons a little while longer to subtily drop Nott's wand and kicked it underneath one of the sofas. Whistling to himself in an amused manner, he headed towards the Great Hall, where he was sure a lot of gossiping was happening right now. This was definately the start of something interesting...or interestingly wicked. Gideon broke out into a little song as he walked down the corridor, ignored by the clusters of other students.

"By the prickin' of my thumbs, somethin' wicked this way comes..."

"I suppose this is some kind of joke," Theo was telling his new found friend Astrid as they walked their way to the Great Hall. He was so angry he had been rambling since climbing the stairs to the Ground Floor and until reaching the entrance of the Hall.

"Those Gryffindors..." he frowned. "I suppose some might be worried but I think it is unlikely. They have been probably wishing something like this happened, like with Malfoy..." He paused. "You reckon it's Mal- I mean, Draco is the one -"

But he didn't get to say anything else for when reaching the Great Hall, being one of the last to do so at that, the scene he encountered was quite pertubing. Pansy Parkingson was crying her eyes off at the Slytherin table while a few professors were trying to calm her down and other Sltherins were shouting furiously at each other, other tables, and even the Hogwarts staff. Micellent Bulstrode had this particularly nasty expression in her face, yet Vicent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle were quite silent in comparison. IT was a weird scene, Theodore could tell as much.

Approaching the table with Astrid, they got a hint of what was all the tumoil about. But even as he was putting the pieces together, he couldn't believe it.

astrid walked to the great hall with theo. "well yea i think its draco...i mean hes usually the first up. i havent seen him yet today and i've seen everyone else. so its obviously him.wonder what happend." she rubbed her arm. it was stinging like it was cut.she stopped and pulled back her trench coat. she saw a 6 inch long gash in her arm. must have got scratched by that thing when it flew at me...she thought. she pulled her coat back on and continued to walk.

in the great hall she saw the comotion at the slytherin table. girls crying, guys yelling, and teachers were atempting to calm a girl who was in hystarics down. she shook her head and sat down near the end of the table and watched the seen.

"Hope it's Malfoy," Tinny whispered to him, voicing what most Gryffindors were thinking anyway. "None of the Aurors would tell me, though, and I wouldn't expect to hear it from a Slytherin without persuasion or evesdropping," she added, seating herself near the middle of the Gryffindor table.

Ron nodded, in complete agreement with Tinny, and left her once they had entered the Great Hall to find Harry and Hermione. It was about then he noticed the great disturbance Pansy was causing at the Slytherin table. "Huh...am I really that lucky today?" Ron looked around the Gryffindor table and spotted Hermione. "Oi, Hermione!"

Default Second Scene: The Great Hall

Theo followed Astrid to the Slytherin table, both sitting on rather the fartest area of it. His mind in other matters, when sitting,he bumped on Astrid's arm. "Oh, sorry." It was then that he noticed the slash on her arm. "What's... hopd on." Immediately taking her arm up, his right hand dived for his wand on his pocket to heal the wound. He found nothing. Momentarily lost, he checked again. Then in the pant back pocket, in the front pockets, on the belt and even behind his ear. What in the name! he thought, racketing his ead for answers. When was the last time he used it? The Commons, last night, he had used it to cast Lumos when arriving the trashed room. It was in the Common Room, for sure.

Arg! his mind screamed, how could he be this clumsy! With luck no one would've stepped on his wand and have split it into two when the Auror made that mess earlier.

He stood, about to go to fetch it for classes. He cursed under his breath at the idea of having to face the Aurors again and the risk that they wold held him back again. However, something caught him before getting to make just one step to the exit. As he looked at the Staff Table he realized his Head of House deep in conversation with the Headmaster. The first left though an alternative door behind their table. The second looked to be trying to call for people's attention...

"Children," he said holding both arms up as in the start of many of his speeches. "I need to make an announcement. First, you might be wondering about the Aurors. I am pleased to say there's been a mistake and they will leave shortly. As soon as Minister Fudge prefers. On the other hand, there's been rumours about a student gone missing. I realize this rumour started with people realizing about the unattendance on today's breakfast of Draco Mafloy and the sighting of the aurors." - here Pansy Parkinson gave a drmatic and yet louder wail -"However, I would like to clear out that the facts have been slightly modified and there's been, to the most imaginative of you's disappointment, an exageration on the facts. Mr Malfoy has been taken to his home yesterday night by his parents with due permission and after passing by my office. I can assure you, Mr Malfoy is safer than a puffskein in a room full of pillows. Now, let's leave worried behind and eat up for a new day of studies and classes."

"Well," Nott said after hearing this while Pansy thowed herself to Micellent's arms in a gesture of happiness, though still crying. "Why didn't they say this before!" However, there was this thing with Dumbeldore's expression which was quite alarming. It was like he was making eye contact with the Gryffindor Table every now and then. Now as the chattering started again, there was also a thing with the whispering in the Staff Table he couldn't quite feel comfortable with. Maybe it was just him being, err, hysterical.

"Drat," Ron said as he sat down next to Hermione. "I was hoping something had happened to him...he would have deserved it anyway. I suppose you've heard about the ruckus those Aurors were making back in the Slytherin Common Room? Horrible--the guy who had me wouldn't let me get a decent break until Dumbledore stepped in."

Ron began helping himself to bacon and eggs eagerly, ready to catch up with the appetite the previous night had left him with.

-.- Hehe...sorry I haven't yet posted here... I play Hermione, so I will be a lot more active again... Really sorry...

Hermione had inherited her mum's habit of sensing danger. It wasn't as strong as her mum's was; Mrs. Granger could sit up in bed and know that Hermione was sick in the bathroom. But, in the pit of her stomach, Hermione had felt something, an icy feeling of dread. She'd been up still, Prefect Duties, of course, she was up often times much later than midnight, ushering all the students off to bed. And the icy feeling had then lined her stomach, drawing her from her bed.

She followd along the halls, feeling the slithery dread growing. It wasn't until before she entered the wide open door that the girl realized she was standing before the Slytherin Common Room. She walked in, carefully, unsure of if she should follow the feeling.

Entering, she found pandemonium.

Ministry Officials were buzzing around, pestering students. Students, not only Slytherins, milled around the room, talking of something. She weaved her way into the crowd and sought out a flash of red hair towering above everyone else. Ron! What was he doing here? She pushed her way through the students, working over to him. There was a demanding Ministry Officer speaking with him then, and she hung back, not wanting to interrupt.

A Slytherin made his way over and Hermione hung back even further. What in the name of Merlin was going on here! Dumbledore stood then, giving a speech, and that's when Hermione moved. Hermione left the room, needing to get away from the confusion. She followed a little third year to the Great Hall, where she was shortly joined by Ron.

"What's going on?" she asked in an urging voice.

Just taking up a role...correct me if I'm out of place.

Tinny scowled at the Headmaster's explanation of everything slightly when she remembered the noise that she had heard the night before in the hall and shoved a spoonful of tomato soup roughly into her mouth, feeling as though the man had actually been calling her crazy to her face with his actions and nicely-placed cover-up. After a few moments of silent fuming, she looked up just as Dumbledore was glancing in her direction and locked eyes with the man, who appeared to be trying to make eye contact. She dabbed at her mouth lightly with a napkin, adjusted her Head Girl badge slightly, excused herself, and walked in the direction of the professor.

"D'you...ehh...need something, sir?" she asked.

ooc: ah, yeah, I was meaning something less... never mind. No matter, I like to work with last minute things

"Ah, yes, Tinny, I believe I want to," the eldery headmaster said. "I was wondering if you could inform me of the reason which hold you up late pass cufey last night, and on a day when you had no prefect responsibilities, I have understood."

Ron raised his eyebrows in a 'don't you know?' fashion. "Draco went missing in the dead of night, and loads of Aurors came to figure out how and why. Seems as though it was a false alarm, which is a pity...hey, listen, I was out on Prefect duty last night and..." Ron proceeded to relate his tale and what he'd seen between bites and swallows of his breakfast, ending with, "Weird, isn't it? Too bad it didn't carry him off or something..."

Marissa looked around the hall, for some reason everything seemed like a lie... everything seemed as if it were just a cover up and only a cover up, nevertheless she put it beside her. She had work to do... not that she was at all in the mood. She'd much rather go sit in her bed and think, but one her friends wouldn't let her most likely, seeing as she usually moped around and two, it was a waste of a nice day. Though it was a bit cloudy maybe she would take a walk around the lake, get some freash air and clear her thoughts... she looked at her deserted food and didn't really want it, in fear of not being able to keep it down looked one at the Gryffindor table... at the group of friends chatting and once at the Slytherin table and left the Great hall...

She walked into the hallway stopping to wave at random pictures, her intention was to head out to the lake but her feet had other ideas, she was too wound up in her thoughts to even think twice about where she was going...

Seeing people enter in all kind of things, Theodore had to take it back. Maybe he shouldn't trust what the headmaster had said. He did walked in a room which was half-trashed -- and don't you tell me it was over a party in the Slytherin Commons! Where did it come from if it was a false alarm that has brought the aurors there?

Frowning at his own stupidity at believing it for a minute, and actually feeling his head back to work, he turned to Astrid once more. "What do you think?" he asked, frowning. "Could this be a silly mistake?"

Too may strange things... And didn't Astrid mentioned seeing something, like a creature? He had noticed, too, when entering last night, a hole in the floor that could only have been made by a piecing object, and a heavy one. Couldn't have been house-elves, could they? They could surely use magic to levitate furniture. He waited for an answer from Astrid, his head still swirling with thoughts, and while watching a Gryffindor girl approach the main table.
