Associations of Witches and Wizards have been done before, especially when to fight against injustice in Medieval Times. Dark or Good Witches? One will never know. Once again the need of an Aquelarre (Spanish term for Witches Sabbath) is needed, much alike an Order of the Phoenix. When the Ministry, the Aurors and the Hogwarts authorities won't help and even keeps information away.... The youngsters might act.

This is a Advanced RPG which consist in various scenarios. The first is the start of the mysteries that you should solve: The disappearance of Draco Mafloy. This takes place during Harry's 7th year.

Both cannon and original characters will be allowed, WITH certain restrictions. You all are still students so NONE of you should have any incredible powerful abilities (i.e. you can't be a metamorphmagi, animagi, legillimence AND parceltongue; not all of them, but maybe a couple). I will allow each of you to have some kind of especial ability/artifact/number of spells if you want, but not all of them please.

Also, and here's where the thing gets interesting: each character, even if cannon, MUST have a mystery of their own. At the end of each scene (or the end of the RPG, if there's still not that many clues) we will make guesses on what was the answer. One guess per scene, please. Also, try to make the mysteries difficult but real, even the past of a character can be the mysery.


So, back to the first scene. Draco Mafloy disappeared at the dead of the night, in the Slytherin Commons Rooms. Auror barely could find track of what was there, only three witnesses were their source. The thing is, the three witnesses had very different versions of the facts, which makes this even more suspicious:

- Witness one: Changed their mind. They were the first to see it, it seems. Later they would be seen running away from the Commons to the outer Corridors screaming "A monster! A monster!"... but then, when looking for them again and ask them for the whole story, they would say it never happened; can't remember anything.

- Witness Two: This witness could give a complete description. They seem to find the creature repulsive. Humaniod and dark hairy. The most close guess to that description refers to a half-bird creature, which makes sense since it was found a hole in the floor which could have been made by a piercing object (claws). No sign of feathers, though.

- Witness Three: "An hibrid or some sort", they described it. Dragon like, so it might have been a chimaera. It also tells that it stinked. It seemed the most confident on their description.


I'll be playing Theodore Nott, the first witness*. He is a Slytherin from the same year as Draco. He had grown somewhat close though the last couple of days, seeing they both have Dead Eaters fathers in prison.

EDIT: I want to make an acclaration seeing I could have been not too clear on it: You can use every other character which is not currently being played/used by another RPGer. Only obvious observation is not to contradict ourselves so not to cause fights (=P) but other than that, do use all of the characters that you deem needed to perform your little subplot of the RPG (your personal mystery)

CHAPTER ONE: Malfoy Disappears.
Scene: Slytherin Commons.

Well now, that rules out a big majority.

For now, I'll play either Neveille or Ron, whichever you may need. I'll throw in an original charater, while I'm at it.

Name: Gideon Adams
Age: 16
House: Ravenclaw, 4th year, reserve Seeker on the Quidditch team.
Build: Rather short and stocky. Agile, with quick reflexes.
Hair: dirty blond
Eyes: clear blue
Blood: Doesn't matter to him...

Personallity: Carefree, almost careless attitute towards everything. Easygoing and charismatic, with a good sense of humor. The kind that will laugh in the face of danger. Sometimes this cheery attitude may seem forced and artificial. Has this incurable habit of pulling small pranks on people, and pickpocketing. Can't seem to keep his hands out of other people's pockets. Rarely gets caught, unless he does it specifically to get attention, and never steals anything worth a lot. One could say he steals for the heck of it. Likes shiny objects, which is what makes him a good Seeker-except he's in detention more often than not for causing disturbances in class.

Abilities: pickpocketing, snitch-seeking, generally getting on people's nerves.

Superpower: Er, possesses a robe with bottomless pockets. Exact contents unknown.

Other: Lives with his parents and three older sisters, who have all graduated from Hogwarts and all have respectible jobs, and are *all* goody-two-shoes, unlike him. He doesn't like to talk about them much.

Hermione_loves_Ron will be Hermione --> Seems I'll be comfortable with you, knowing Hermione is in good hands, according to your username ¬__¬` *sighs relieved*

An acclaration about this rule:: It doesn't mean you cannot be Parseltongue. You can, but what I'm trying to say is that you cannot be all of that abilities at once:

Metamorphmagi* + Unregistered Animagi + Legillimence + Parceltongue = Super Student!

One of them, I can allow you to have. Maybe even two, being both Parceltongue and a knowledge in the Dark Arts. But please not all. I find it so hard for it to be believable otherwise! Being almighty, asides from being unoriginal, it's little challenging. Plus, remember we all are students in this RPG.
And... you won't need it, at least not much, because this RPG is meant to make you think before acting.

(*In here Metamorphmagi = can change into both animal and people, so, honestly, if you are going to choose, choose wisely. Why would you choose Animagi + Metamophmagi? Thanks.)

This is not only for magical abilities but for some other advantages. Another improbable ecuation would be: Knows all the Spells + Wereworlf + have a Dragon for pet + Is rich + Is more powerful than Voldemort = how humble!



New Rule: If taking two characters only one of them might have a mystery, not both (though it is possible if you feel like it). Only two characters per person max.

Personailty: caring and sensitive, usually shows a very optimistic view to those she speals with, well deep down she looks on the gloomy side. Um... from your description above it sounded as if you didn't want too much details on characters, so that is all I will give for now unless asked for more, or if you want me to clearify something...

Oh, Nadia, this sounds to be absolutely promising. My made-up, Destiny, of course. And, d'you need someone to play an evil canon character? I'm always up for evil. Also, an Ollivander's re-write is in the future of my character(s). Not too much change, though.

Personality: She's quick to smile and will do anything to make someone laugh if they're upset. She keeps her nose in the books, but always manages to find time to pull a few classic pranks.

Other: She keeps a Neverending Notebook with her wherever she goes and write in it all the time. She's also an unregistered Animagus, but her foster-mother hates magic and had a collar put on her that won't let her change. There is no way to remove it, that she has seen so far.

Ooh, and which d'you think looks better? Dark cyan, teal, dark goldenrod, goldenrod, coral or light coral?

"I told you! I was never here!"

Theodore Nott was on the brick of pulling his own hairs out. The Auror taking notes just made his 'mmh' sound as if he was bored out of his wits. It was maddening.

Theodore Nott and this Auror, as well as every other person in the Slytherin Common Room, now, at 8:00 am in the morning, had been awake the whole night taking and being taken declarations since 3 in the morning. That’s when the Aurors first arrived. Late, of course; the attack had happened much earlier, Theo could tell as much. He had been in a precarious mood since first encountering the scene at one in the morning.

The place was only mildly trashed. The doors of the Commons were now wide open for everybody to see the insides, even other houses. Students peeked curiously at the scene surrounded by professors, Aurors and other Ministry authorities. It was difficult not to spot the great mass of people at the dungeons pushing their way though when on your way to have breakfast at the Great Hall. Yet, only those involved stayed long enough to be sorry about it, the rest was shoed away. Everything was a mess, and Theodore (“Theo” for short) was exhausted and cranky, being questioned by this people in fancy uniforms again and again for something he never saw!

"Whatever you were said, it didn't happen,” Theo insisted. “I just finished serving detention - got a little caught up, yeah, but I wasn't here! The place was a mess by the time I arrived the Commons! Before I was here. You can ask McGonagall there."

He nodded on her direction, feeling about to collapse from lack of sleep. The Transfiguration professor was deep in conversation with his Head of House.

The man in front of him only yawned and then said that was not what another student, a prefect, had said -- at the same time he overheard a journalist and Fudge speaking not far from there. Well, of course! Why trusting a Slytherin when you can have a Gryffindor prefect telling their version of the facts?

“Who told you that?” Nott inquired. “Maybe they are mistaken me with somebody else. I was never here… and where is Draco Mafloy? What’s this I hear about him missing?”

The man didn’t say a thing and only make a few more notes. Nott was about to repeat himself when the man stood… to allow another Auror in his place for more questioning. Theo groaned. He just hoped they would let him have breakfast, he was starving.
