Remus raced off after the two girls as soon as he was out of the classroom, with James after him. Remus drew his wand and shouted,"Accio note!" in desperation just before James tackled him. Both crashed to the floor as the note flew out of a very surprised Katie's hand, over Remus' head, and was caught by Sirius, who was grinning. "Stop struggling, Moony, it's for your own good," he said thrusting the note into Katie's hand. "Read it," he told her, " Moony here isn't ever going to open his stupid mouth about it anyway." "About what?" asked Katie, eyebrows raised. "You'll see," said Sirius, winking at Remus, who was currently pinned to the ground by James. He gave Sirius an extremely nasty look and said," When this is over, Padfoot, you're going to have Jelly Legs for a very long time." "Oh shut up," said Sirius. "Go on, read it." Katie, curious, unfolded the note and read it. As she reached the end, her cheeks turned bright red and she silently handed the note to Lily. Lily took it and read it as well. She could see that it was a sort of conversation between the three of them.
*Moony-
Are you ever going to tell her?

Tell who what?
Katie, you idiot.
Are you ever going to ask her out?
-S
Are you two insane?
Yes, we are, but that's not the point. Are you going to ask her out or not?

Then we'll tell her.

Lily guessed that they must have have grabbed the note and thrown it to Katie and that time. She supressed a laugh as she saw Remus, who was even redder than Katie, trying to hide behind James, who turned him around and pushed him towards Katie. Both stood nervously looking at each other, until Sirius said," Well? You lost your voice, Moony?" Remus gave him another nasty look and said- no, stuttered, " Um, Katie, W-will you, um, go out with- me?" He ended in a sort of squeak that made Lily supress another laugh. "Sure," said Katie, slightly more composed than poor Remus, who was staring to shake. "All right, since that's settled and we have a free period, I'm off to see Natasha, so I'll see ya later, Prongs, Moony." With that he turned around and went down the corridor. "Lil, you want to go down to the lake for a while?" asked James. "Well, there's a lot of studying to do............ but I guess I could stay a while," said Lily, slipping her hand into James'. They both left Katie and Remus standing rather awkwardly with each other.
"I haven't haven't seen your other friend- Wormtail- in a while. Where is he?" asked Lily. "I don't know...... he's been disappearing a lot lately, and twice I found him with Snape and his crowd- I'm a bit worried about him," said James, looking a bit disturbed. But then he smiled and said," Anyway, let's not worry about that. We have the entire evening to us!" "Entire evening? We have to study!" said Lily as they reached the lake. "Just one day, Lil! Just relax!" he said as they sat down in the cool shade of a tree. She put her head on his shoulder and sighed. "But I'm just so worried, James......" He tilted her chin towards him and looked her in the eyes. "Just relax for one day, Lily. You work too hard," he said softly. She gave a slight smile and said," All right........ I guess one day won't matter." He put an arm around her and they both sat quietly, looking at the beautiful sky blue lake which was lapping gently at the shore.

Lily laid her head back on to James' chest. She knew that she had to go back and study, but James was firstly very persuasive and secondly a lot stronger then she was. "I still can't believe you guys gave Katie that note," she said to him.

"Well Moony wasn't going to say anything any time soon," James told her smirking. "He just needed a little push in the back. Sort of like the one you needed to figure out that you liked me," he said running his fingers through her hair.

"Well I.." she said trying to find the right words. Finding none she decided to change the subject, knowing full well he was right. The note would definitely help Katie and Remus; Katie had had just a big a crush on Remus for the past few years. "What do you think is going to happen to Natalie?" she asked sitting up. It was still bothering her, she had never been yelled at before and even if it wasn't her fault, Lily still worried about the girl. "I mean she was really upset."

"I don't know Lils," James said. "She was really starting to bug Sirius, following him everywhere, touching everything straight after he did, pretending not to know something just to get close to him, stealing some of his things," he carried on.

"But he shouldn't have tricked her though," Lily said feeling sorry for her. "That was really mean. She was crying in our dorm for ages!"

"I'm sorry Lily," James said and she could tell that he meant it. "But you know Padfoot, he's always like that." Lily smiled, she knew that what James said was true. Sirius was always playing with women, he'd have one for a while, but if another prettier woman came around, the first one would be gone and the prettier one would be his new girl.

"Speak of the devil," she mumured as Sirius came over with Natasha.

"Talking about me are you?" he asked as he sat down on the other side of James. "Then again why would you not be talking about such a handsome person that I am."

"Shut up Sirius," Lily moaned reaching over James and slapping him lightly. "I've had enough sarcasm from you over the past seven years to last me a life time."

She looked at her watch and realised that she had been out for a very long time. "James I'm going to go back up to the common room. It's not either of your fault," she said to Sirius and Natasha. "I've got lots of work to be done."

"Lily what happened to leaving work for the night?" James asked looking very upset at the prospect of her leaving him.

"I know I'm sorry, but I need to go work and I may stop and see if Natalie is alright," she replied. She bent down and kissed James quickly, well actually it lasted a while, but she didn't complain. "I'll see you back in the common room," she whispered before hurrying back to the castle.

I’m a bit torn now. On one hand, Sirius is being a jerk, but Natalie was apparently being stalker-ish. Almost as if she was obsessed. Not that I would know anything about being obsessed with something.

This one is from Natalie's POV!

Back again in the dorm, Natalie sat on her bed and pulled the book out of her robes, flipping through it until she found the recipe for Amourenlia. The pages were old and worn, but luckily the the recipe for the potion was still in fairly good shape. As her eyes travelled down the page, she saw that it was pretty simple to make, and would take only about a week to make, if you added in the three days that it would have to be left to simmer. The ingredients were also easily available; most were in her Potions kit, while she could always grab the rest during Potions class. The only problem was that she couldn't think of a place to make it without getting caught. Empty classrooms were out of the question; anyone might walk in on her. The grounds were unsafe and too open, and besides, the grounds keeper would never allow it. Without warning, there was a knock on the door, and Natalie jumped, dropping the book on the floor. She quickly picked it up and stuffed it back into her robes, as Lily called out," Natalie? Are you in there?" "Yeah," Natalie replied, going to the door and opening it, hoping that Lily wouldn't take too much time. Lily came inside, concern etched across her face. "You all right?" she asked Natalie kindly, going to her own bed and sitting on it. Natalie shrugged and said," I'm okay. Why?" "Well, you know, the thing with Sirius and stuff...." Lily said, looking surprised. Natalie knew that she was probably wondering how she was taking it so well, seeing as only some time back she'd been crying her eyes out. Well, it wouldn't hurt to carry on the charade a little longer, in case Lily started suspecting something. So, giving a little sigh, she said," Well, it hurt, but it's not worth wasting my time on, Lil. I mean, if he doesn't want to be with me, it's his choice. Though the way Natasha has been acting is pretty dumb. And he could've just told me he didn't want me around." Though it would probably lead to this situation again, she thought. Lily walked up to her and laid a consoling hand on her shoulder. "Hey, don't worry. Natasha's not really that bad; she's just sort of happy that she got Sirius. She's doesn't know that this has hit you so hard. Don't let her get to you, okay?" Natalie gave a small smile and said," I won't, don't worry." She paused for a second, then said," Look, Lil, I don't really want to talk about this. How about we talk about something else? Please?" "Of course," said Lily kindly. "Oh, I can't believe I forgot to tell you! Katie and Remus are going out!" That really did surprise Natalie. "Are you serious? Did she finally get the courage to tell him? Or did he tell her?" Lily giggled and said," No, Katie didn't tell him, and Remus didn't tell her, either. James-" she almost said 'and Sirius', but decided against it. She didn't want to make poor Nat feel worse. "-passed her a note about it," she continued. "It was like a conversation ,actually. And to make it short, Remus asked Katie out!" Natalie smiled; she was really happy for her friend. Just then, a clock chimed somewhere nearby, and Natalie realized how hungry she was. "You coming for dinner, Nat?" asked Lily. "Yeah, sure," said Natalie, smiling brightly. Guess the Potion will have to come tomorrow, she thought, disappointed. Both girls left the dorm and went to the Great Hall, where a number of chattering students were already sitting at the tables.
James was already there, an empty seat next to him for Lily, with Remus and Katie on the other side, talking to each other quite comfortably. Peter was nowhere to be seen, while Sirius was nowhere to be seen. Natalie took a seat next to Lily, and after James was done greeting Lily (with a rather long kiss) her turned to Natalie and said," Hey, Natalie. How're you?" He spoke rather hesitantly, as though she would eat him if he said something wrong. Natalie smiled at him and said," I'm fine, thanks." She started putting food on her plate, and James, looking relieved that their short conversation was over, began talking to Lily in a low voice. Though Natalie pretended to look around the Hall, as though she could not hear them, she caught snatches of the conversation. She heard the words," How is she..... Sirius doesn't care....... too arrogant for his own good........ left Natasha and him at the lake..... wouldn't stop kissing each other," from James. Though inside she felt like she might start screaming, she kept a calm face. She didn't know how much more she could take; she felt as though her heart really had broken when she saw Sirius and Natasha enter the Great Hall about half an hour later, both holdng hands rather tightly. Natasha blushed as James raised his eyebrows; Sirius, in his typically casual fashion, came over to the table, grinned at James and winked. Natasha hurried away to her own House Table as some of the Ravenclaws started waving at her, and Sirius, Remus and James bagan to talk in low voices, with Lily and Katie listening. Natalie pushed her plate away and got up; she suddenly had a desire to run as far from the Hall as possible, until she couldn't see his stupid face anymore! She ran out of the Great Hall, passing a few surprised students in a blur, ignoring Katie's and Lily's calls. She ran till she reached the seventh floor, where she was sure no one would find her, and there she leaned against the railing of the stairs, sobbing into her hands. Thoughts of Sirius and Natasha went around in her mind again and again until she felt she would explode. And I can't even make the stupid Potion! she thought. As she removed her hands from her eyes, she saw that, from nowhere, a polished wooden door had suddenly appeared in front of her. Her eyes widened, and she cautiously edged toward it. She turned the knob and pushed it open........

Great story!! I think perhaps Natalie has found the Room Of Requirment ... ?? Am I right? Or is it just another room where she will be able to make the Love Potion?
