Past, Present, and Future Part 5

James and Lily sat at the Gryffindor table next to Sirius, Remus, Peter, and Keely and said, "We have something important to tell you."
"What's up?" asked Remus. Lily and James explained what they saw in the Water of Time and what Dumbledore told them in his office. Keely and Sirius found the fact that Lily and James were going to be married and have three kids laughable.
"We always knew you two would make a great couple!" laughed Keely, "Can I be your bridesmaid?"
"And can I be your Best Man?" guffawed Sirius
"Oh, shut up." said Lily
"What are you going to name your kids?" asked Keely
"We don't know about two of them, but we know we're naming the middle child Hary." said Lily
"You should name the first born after me." said Sirius.
"No way, one Sirius is bad enough." said Keely.
"Guys, I doubt we're actually going to be married." said Lily.
"You have to, the water said so." said Peter.
"Just because the water showed us that, doesn't mean we actually will, it's not like we could change our own future." said James.
"Whatever you say." said Sirius, obviously not convinsed.
"Hey, Remus," said Keely, "You haven't said anything, what do you think about Lily and James geting married and having kids?" Remus looked at Keely, she, Lily, James, Sirius, and Peter noticed that he looked a bit pale, shabby, and thinner than usual.
"Hey, Remus. Are you okay," asked Peter, "You're looking a bit ill."
"I'm fine," said Remus, "I just have to go to Madame Pomfrey and...uh...go home to visit my sick mother." Remus said as he got up.
"What?" asked Sirius, "How long are you going to be gone?"
"Only for a few weeks. Nothing to worry about." Remus walked out of the Great Hall leaving Lily, James, Sirius, and Peter looking surpised. Keely just continued eating and acted like as if nothing unusual happened.
"Keely, don't you think that it's a bit odd that Remus is leaving Hogwarts just to visit his mother?" asked James.
"Not really." answered Keely

I'm back!

Chapter Five: Remus's Father

Remus went to Madame Pomfrey and asked, "Is the shack finished yet?"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Lupin." answered Madame Pomfrey, "It won't be finished till the next few months. The Headmaster wishes you to go home for your transformation, he will asign a Portkey for you and your sister will be coming with you to help your parents take care of you." She led him to Dumbledore's office where Sylvia and Dumbledore were waiting for him with a tin can on his desk.
"Thank you, Poppy. I will take it from here." Dumbledore said softly and Madame Pomfrey left the office for the Hospital Wing.
"Sylvia, Remus, I will need you to stay in your home for the next few weeks. While you're there, I wish you to follow the directions I give you; you will not leave your home after dark and anything unusual happening in or near your home, I wish for you to send me an owl and I will send a guard for you. Understand?" Sylvia and Remus nodded and Dumbledore said, "Very well, now, when I count to three, I wish for you to hold onto this can tightly. Understand?" They nodded again and held onto the can as tight as they could.
"One, two..." Remus held his breath, bracing himself, "three." A sick sensation happened in Remus's stomach as he and Sylvia left Dumbledore's office, next moment, they landed hard on the ground outside of their house. Their mother hurried outside to meet them and said, "Hurry inside, before a muggle sees." Remus, Sylvia, and their mother ran inside the house and Remus hurried through the house so he could get to the shed outside.

Remus and Sylvia never saw their father for two days until on the third days a few hours before Remus's transformation when he was running towards the shed, on his way he accidently ran into his father. Remus's father was holding a bottle of firewiskey and was shouting drunkenly at Remus, "Watch where you're going you little prat!"
"Sorry, father." Remus said scared, "I really didn't mean to..." he cut off when he looked down at his father's other hand and saw that it was heavily bandaged.
"What are you looking at you nosy little excuse of a son?" Remus's father snarled as he put down the bottle he was holding and with one swift movement hit Remus hard in the face. Remus kneeled on the floor and his father kicked his side and walked away from him, ignoring his son's sobbing. Remus's mother came into the room, kneeled beside Remus, and hugged him. Sylvia made Remus some tea and came back into the room to help her mother comfort him.
"I hate him." Remus struggled to say between sobs.
"I'm sorry, Remus. He's always been like that for a few years because of his drunken rages."
"Why can't we leave him?" asked Sylvia as she wiped Remus's tears away with her hankerchief, "We could be free."
"But where would we go?" asked their mother, "Your father will always know where we are even if You-Know-Who and his followers couldn't find us." She and Sylvia helped Remus up and they led him to the shed. They were careful to stay away from Mr. Lupin when he was drinking.

I'm sorry that I had you waiting for a post like this. I hope you don't hate me

his father is a vile cruel evil patheic low life moronic jerk! i am serious. i mean i dont care if i got caught by the ministry i woudlve chopped his head with a knife for something! (maybe hammer his head with a diamond hammer) stupid lowlife git....... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sorry bree i'm mad at remus father but you describe him so welll! if he harms another hair on remus's body head anywhere i am bringing my wand up and let him hand by his ankle till he begs me to put him down! sorry =x

Remus's Father Part 2

For the next few days Remus stayed away from his father, especially when he was drinking. A week before he and Sylvia were back to Hogwarts, Remus's mother came into his room.
"Remus, I have some good news," she said to him, "You and Sylvia will be going to your aunt Sarah's house for the last week before going back to school."
"That's great!" said Remus, he hadn't seen his aunt for years because she and her brother-Remus's father-never got along.
"And you both will be staying with her during the holidays too, isn't that great too?"
"Wait, am I going to be here at all during the holidays anymore?" asked Remus.
"Well, that's kind've the point, dear." said Remus's mother, "You and Sylvia will be living with Sarah. She's going to be your foster mother." Remus looked at his mother and asked, "Are you serious?"
"Yes," Remus's mother said sadly, "I'm serious."
"But why can't we leave father? I mean, maybe Dumbledore could put us in hiding or maybe put father in Azkaban or something."
"Remus, you'll be much safer with your aunt, I promise things will work out much better living with her. You'll need to pack, we're going when your father leaves for work." she left Remus's room, leaving Remus to pack his things, when he was done, he sat on his bed, put his head into his hands, and looked at his knees.

After Remus's father left for work, he, his mother and Sylvia left for Sarah's house by Floo Powder. Sarah greeted them and served tea with pumpkin cakes.
"I'm really glad you agreed to this, Sarah." said Remus's mother, "You were the only person I knew trustworthy enough to take care of Sylvia and Remus."
"It's no trouble, no trouble at all." said Sarah, "You know how much I love children, especially my favorite neice and nephew."
"I really can't stay long, Jim will be home for lunch soon, and he hates it when I come home late." she hugged and kissed Sylvia and Remus on the cheek and hugged Sarah. "Be good for your aunt." she turned for the fireplace until Remus rushed forward and hugged her, "I can't do it, Mum." he cried, "I just can't do it.
His mother turned and said, "Remus..." but he cut her off, "Will I ever see you again?"
Remus's mother hugged him and asked, "What does your heart tell you?"
Remus looked at her tearfully and said, "I hope so. Yes... I guess." she smiled and said, "Then we will see each other again." she gave him one last hug and left with Floo powder
