I guarantee Peeves has pranked Mrs. Norris. It's just too tempting... a true prankster would look for someone's weakness and Mrs. Norris is definitely Filch's soft spot. I can just imagine the things Peeves may have done over the years! Perhaps throwing her in the prefect's tub (you know how much cats love water) or hanging her somewhere by her tail. What better way to get to Filch then through his cat! Wouldn't you agree?
