Discussion: LOL. This is my question.
Umm, I think that Peeves' pranking has matured over time. I don't necessarily think he ages at all (physically, at least), considering his a a poltergeist (a mere consummation of energy), but I do think he can mature mentally. I bet when he first started, his pranks were really amateurish and not planned well, but I think that, as time has passed, he has been able to develop his own style of pranking and has come up with new ideas.

I agree. I don't think he would've aged, but he certainly has matured over time. I mean, how can he know what pranks are good and what aren't if he hasn't experienced them himself?

Well I remember reading somewhere that Peeves was never truly a human..he has always been a poltergeist and he actually came with the building. With that being said... if that's the case was he ever really young? Has he stayed the same age? Now that in itself is a question!

As for his pranks maturing. I think he has met quite a few prankster during his time. I think his jokes have to have gotten better during that time, because he has had a lot of influences, not to mention magic itself has evolved allowing Peeves to do more. I can only imagine the amount of pranks he has pulled in his life and what some of his best pranks were!

Discussion: I'm thinking that Peeves has been, is, and will always be young at heart, no matter what. You can't be old at heart and enjoy pranking as much as he does. It just doesn't make sense.

Discussion: I agree. I believe he has always been the same ages. I don't know if he actually has a age. Maybe he doesn't and it is more of just an existence kind of thing. I know that his pranks definitely mature over time. As he learns new things or meet new rouble makers. I'm sure the maudurers and the twins taught him one of two things lol

Discussion.: I agree Nikki. I never really thought of Peeves having an age. He's gonna be around forever as far as I'm concerned, no older than he was when he first came to be. And yeah, I can imagine all the pranks that he picked up from the Marauders and Twins. And he may have given them ideas as well, though I'm not really sure that he would actually teach them to them. :/

Discussion: Wow..I was just thinking - Hogwarts was founded in the late 900's. If Peeves came with the school which is what I had heard... He's a very old poltergeist, and yet everyone's right! He's still very young at heart. I just hope he can keep up the pranks through the next 1000 years or more!

Kelvin, here, with an activities update!

Game: Alright, pranksters, we have a new game for you! Aptly titled for the PFC (a la Kerry) is "The Person Below Peeves." *applause* Okay, so this is very similar to the game in the Weaselys' Wizard Wheezes board "The Person Below Me." However, instead of saying something about the person below you, you're going to pretend your Peeves and play a fun little prank on the person below you. Then the person below you must react to your prank and then post a new prank. Let's have fun with this!

I'll start: Peeves is feeling a little un-pretty today, so he decided to doll himself up with some makeup. However, instead of beautifying himself, he has decided to paint a clown face on you while you were sleeping!

Discussion: With Valentine's Day coming up, we thought it might be fun to discuss a possible Peevesy love life. So, do you think Peeves ever found love? If so, with whom? If not, why not?

wakes up goes late..rushes to class, and has everyone laugh at me- rushes off to a bathroom to see my face looks like a clown, *screams!!!* and scrubs it off, *hides for the rest of the day*


Peeves decides to take spit balls one step further. He shoves wads of gum into a straw and begins blowing them out all over the first classroom he flies into. Gum lands in your hair and gets entangled all over it, as more gum comes flying your way!

Discussion:

Hmmm... I wonder if there's such thing as poltergeist love? Or if it's possible for Poltergeists to have crushes on ghosts. However...my thoughts are that there had to be a teacher or student who Peeves crushed on over the years and instead of throwing roses at her, presented her with roses as she passed by. If only I knew who those girls were and what about them made them so special...cause it would be fun to learn Peeves weaknesses. tehehe... But you have to admit, the idea of Peeves having a crush is really cute!!

Game: Screams at Peeves and chases him down the corridor cursing hexes.

Peeves goes on a pranking spree and ties your shoes laces with the people next to you while you're in class.

Discussion: I don't think Peeves was ever in love. He might have had a little crush, but I really don't see him as falling in love. Him and girls...it just doesn't fit LOL.

Game: Stands up, only to fall flat on my face in front of the class. Spends the rest of the day in the hospital ward having a broken nose repaired.


Peeves stole some eggs from the kitchen, hid them for a few weeks to let them rot and then takes them out and begins chucking them at students on their way to classes. He nails you square in the face with one, rotten egg dripping down your face and onto your robes.

Discussion: I wonder if poltergeists are capable of love. Does the pranskter in them overrule anything their heart desires. That's an interesting thought. And if a poltergeist is in love, how does he go about showing it? I'm trying to picture it now. Peeves in love . . . man the students would have a blast with that one, that's for sure!
