Discussion Topic:
After talking about all the pranks Peeves pulled on Filch and Mrs. Norris, it made me think about the rest of the staff members. With that said....What kind of pranks do you think Peeves has done to the rest of the staff members at Hogwarts? (*Besides the ones we've already read about, of couse.*)

I hope Peeves got Lockhart good while he was there! Perhaps drawing mustaches on all his portraits and doing his own version of editing Lockhart's books or even making Lockhart's prized possesions disappear, or putting ink in his coffee so it stained Lockhart's teeth black! Lockhart would have been in tears over any of that. It would have been great!

Oh my god! LOL! that would have been awesome!!!! I also think he used to put Flitwick's things way out of his reach, so he would have to use a stool or a spell to get them at a normal height for him and maybe stealing some of Madame Hooch's brooms.

It totally wouldn't surprise me if Peeves constantly was playing pranks on Dumbledore and Dumbledore totally enjoyed them. I kinda picture Peeves trying increasingly more interesting and offensive pranks because he probably got distressed that he had no annoying effect on Dumbledore.

Discussion:

I think Peeves favorite target has to be the "ickle firsties!" I mean, what easier target then the poor little frightened firsties? The reaction has to pure hysterics on Peeves part. Totally unexpected and fun! But, I don't think Peeves strictly sticks to firsties. As the years go on, I think he gets to know the students personalities and figures out who reacts to him and who doesn't. So of course if you get a reaction, you're gonna keep pushing! I think this is exactly what Peeves does. Can you blame him? I'd do the same thing. It's more fun to push someone's buttons and see how far you can go. Peeves is the best at this!
