I have an idea for an activity; we could all post fictional daily prophets based on ministry of magic happenings and characters. Dont worry if you dont think your stuff is any good just post it, that way you can practise but its basically like making up a story or fan fic but in the style of a jounalist as if the paper existed in the wizarding world as if Harry, McGonagall, Cornelius Fudge, Dedalus Diggle etc would read it.

Thanks, it should be goodif people put the effort in, especially those people who like to fan fic about the ministry, they would enjoy it even more.

By the way, I just recieved an email from Backslash who told me that the club co-presidents will be announced by at least the end of next week.

yay, Im exited for that. I think Percy and Umbridge will keep there jobs for a while, maybe they will change later, I guess it depens on what Scrimegour wants.

I mean Percy was personal assistant to the minister for magic (fudge) and umbridge was seniour undersecretary to the minister (Fudge) so now that Fudge isnt minister I'm not sure if they have the same positions. Although Percy might do seeing as he was with Scrimgeour on xmas day so he must know Scrimgeour pretty well.

And im not being picky i swear but the correct spelling is primeminister, just trying to help lol

Yeah. I don't know. I don't think Scrimgeour peticularyly likes the Weaslys he just wanted to see Harry that day. But he must know them more than the average worker I guess, or he wouldn't have visited them on Xmas. k thanks.

Yeah I mean Scrimgeour would have had to leave his family on xmas day wouldn't he? Also Percy must have spent xmas in OOTP on his own cos he wasnt that respected in the ministry just underestimated and used. If he hadnt been so big headed I would have said Lockhart should have gone for a job at the ministry as an obliviator. dunno why I thought of that just then but I thought I should write it before I forgot it lol.

That is a good idea. He was good at that. But then again he wasn't good at much else. I am hoping that in the next book there will be more on the Ministry. I find it very interesting. We seem to be the only active members in this club anymore. Backslash still hasn't announced the postions. Did he mean the end of this week or last week?

Yeah we should have the club a bit more active, but I am impressed at how fast its gotten replies as a few months ago this club should hav been closed down for neglect.

I think that what we satred at the begining of the thread is agood style. Similiar to our roleplay but keeping it a fanclub.
