Maybe the eye was given to him by someone close. Probably a friend. Dumbledore????

More than where he got his eye, I wonder how exactly he lost his eye. Maybe we were told, but I don't remember it. I bet there is some sort of place that makes magical body parts like the muggles make prosthetic limbs, glass eyes and such. Some things can't be fixed magically, so there would be a need. Like Georges ear, I wonder if he could get a new ear from the same place Moody got his eye.

I meant How he lost it! Hahahaha. But yes, the other stuff to..... but definately how did he loose that eye of his. We know that Harry saw Moody before he lost his eye in Dumbledore's Pensieve.... so, we know it was in between those two trials.....
