Oh! And another thing, we need to work on a way to increase member participation if we are ever going to get our own forum! Right now it looks like the same 3-4 people are participating (Thank you to you!) but we need AT LEAST 10 and we really should have more than that. What would you think about each PMing some people to increase activity within those who are already members, as well as recruiting some more peeps from those who aren't members? Does this FC have a PR officer? I don't know which officers you have and who is in each spot because the first post apparently isn't up to date (or so I have been told.) Anyone want to fill me in?

Hello everyone. Sorry I haven't been here for the last week or so. I was out of town since.... last friday.... er... the sixteenth and I got back late because of getting food poisoning-- so I got back last tuesday and ended up leaving again to go out of town, though not as far, from wednsday to today. I finally got hom at around seven or something like that. I've been trying to catch up on SS and of course, now it's uber late and I should go to bed.

I am soooooooo sorry, once again for taking so long to get to you. You got my PM I hope. Anywho.... I agree with you about all of that.

Unfortunately, the old Promo officer was unable to continue her duties and is no longer as such.

Actually, no we don't. Unfortunately, when we did applications only four people applied and of course, they were the only active members and no one wanted to be graphics officer. We are a club of officers pretty much, except for the random visit from a member. Which is very rare.


I think the idea of graphics is great and of course visiting the TP.

Did we discuss his childhood?

Not really. We dicussed his Hogwarts Days, but we didn't talk much about his life outside of Hogwarts as a child. That would be a good discussion topic.

Yeah... we don't have a graphics officer. It's sad. Like I said, I could try and make some graphics for us, but I'm just terrible with it. But, I'll give it a shot, reluctantly.

I think he followed the rules & was an obedient boy. Basically I think he was just like the adult Mad Eye. Serious. Brave. Obedient.

I picture Moody having friends, but not the chummy kind. More like colleagues that he could learn from and who could learn from him. I doubt friendship would have been a high priority for him, but I also don't think he was completely anti-social. I'm sure he was diligent and likely obedient most of the time, but I also don't doubt that he would do something against the rules if it was for the greater good (Not to be confused with Dumbledore's greater good ) or for him to learn from the experience. He strikes me as a type similar to Harry - a good person who only really breaks the rules when someone is in danger or when he absolutely needs the information that he would glean from the experience. Does that even make sense? I think I'm beginning to ramble... LoL!

As far as the FC of officers, let's infiltrate the TP threads and start promoting... also, if we don't have graphics, we should at least add some text to our siggies about joining the MEMFC. Yes? No?

Well, he does seem like he doesn't have very many friends. He probably just had 2 or 3 really close/best friends. He probably only breaks the rules when it's necessary, like you guys said.

Well... I did add the link to the FC in my sig and about joining it. I could dig into it more by requesting some sigs and avs of Moody from some shops. *sighs* I wish I was a graphic maker...

I'll keep my fingers crossed... I'm gonna send it out soon (I'm still trying to wake up right now) and I'll post here once I do (or edit this one).

As far as the discussion and whether or not Moody had friends as a child, I don't picture him at all as a loner. Even Snape had friends and if anyone was going to be a loney, it would have been him. So Moody probably had some friends - he probably considered everyone in the Order to be a friend in his older life, so why wouldn't he have considered others as friends in his youth?
