Bella as a child...well, early on, as a newborn and toddler and such, I think she was as normal as a kid raised with Dark Magic can be. It was just how she was raised, so as she got older, that's what she was used to. I get the feeling that Bella never thought of rebelling against the family, so as she got older, and learned more about the family and their ways, she tried to fit in with that. I'm guessing she wasn't the nicest girl to her fellow Hogwarts students. I think she was power hungry and joining the Death Eaters didn't help that.

Hm.Bella as a child?ZOMG.My thing is going to be really stupid,but here I go:I think Bella was raised us learning about Voldy and death eaters.I bet the more she learned about them,the more she wanted to become one of them.I think that if she grew up with...let's say...James and Lily Potter,she would not be so into the dark side.But,she grew up with Voldy followers.So,when she got older,she became on of them.But if she grew up with the nice side()she would have a less chance being with Voldy.Yep.That's what I think.

Bella as a child...now that's a scary thought. Definitley a dark character and into the dark arts. She probably couldn't wait to get out of Hogwarts and follow Voldemort.

I like the idea of graphics activity. And we need to get more active members, so we can hopefully get our own forum!

I still think she should be able to take the Internet. Then we can all go to the moon and still be on SS.

Oh, and as a teenager, I think Bellatrix would have experimented with pain. Since she's all into the torture stuff now, it only makes sense that she might...play around with methods a bit.

And I have a pretty broad idea of what Bellatrix was like as a child and how she came to be the person she probably was in her teen years and then of course, her adulthood. Growing up whenever she was a toddler I think she was exposed to a lot of Dark material, and was basically taught to think that Voldemort was king, ruler of all, the ultimate role model. So when she became a young girl, I think she found all of this extremely fascinating, as she saw the extreme power that Voldemort possessed. She didn't want to defy her family, so she went into loving the Dark Arts along with the majority of her family. I believe that from like ages 5-10 she was a rotten little girl. Horrible and cruel to anyone that didn't have pure blood. She was a cocky, and extremely confident as a little child. I think she knew that she was powerful, and she wanted to one day work along side Voldemort; that was her ultimate dream.

Then she finally became eleven, and got herself a wand. I think this only made her that much more horrible, and she started to veer towards the label of evil. I think in school, she was a fantastic student. I think she worked hard, she wanted to prove to everyone that she was the best. Not because she was insecure like Hermione, but because she wanted to prove that she was the most powerful. So others would fear her. Once she realized that she was so powerful, I think she did start experimenting with forms of pain and torture on those she hated. Obviously, she must have been horribly cruel to all Mudbloods. Although she was mean to anyone not of pureblood, I do think she did make alot of close friends within her house. All of them were open about their hate for mudbloods and their love for Voldemort, and this is what made them get along so well. They stood side by side, but I think Bellatrix was the prominent leader. Her powers took her far, and right after she graduated (probably even before) she seeked out the Dark Lord and began to serve him. Soon become arguably the most talented death eather, only second to Lord Voldemort himself.

That is a very, very good description of what Bella was like as a young girl and how she became to be the way she was. I think it all makes perfect sense and probably happened much that way.

I too think that that was a brilliant write up of her life, though I also think that even as a child she would've spent time tormenting anyone younger or weaker then herself, which is why she became so good at being evil. Also, I think that's why Narcissa is in fear of Bella all the time, if Narcisssa was the youngest out of the three sisters, she probably would've been the one picked on most of the time.
