I dont think she was 'insane' like she is now as a child. I feel that azkaban changed her alot. But i feel that she loved the dark arts more that both of her sisters and wanted to prove herself better than them so she joined voldie.

I think that she did have friends but she wouldnt have classed from as close friends. More like people that would help her to 'get better' at the dark arts.

I think she was probially dark as a child, but not like she is now. I think she had power over her sisters, and she used it to her advantage.

I also agree that she was a bit "dark" as a child. With the family she was in, they probably supported her with this. I don't think she was that crazy until after she was in Azakban. That would turn any slightly off person nuts.

I am sure she was great at manipulation and kept her two younger sisters in line through her tactics. Even as a child, she was already learning the ways of evil, though nowhere near as bad as when she got older, I'm sure!

^^^ i agree.....her family probially promoted it. And she was always evil, no one just becomes that evil. She was probially born that way, but it had to have gotten worse as she got older. More magic, more dark knowledge, the dark lord, azkaban. That all helped.

I agree. She was probably wasn't as fanatical as she was as an ault, but she was still dark. I think she probably was a bit like Draco, in the sense that she probably bullied everyone, though I'd imagine she was a bit more ruthless.

Yeah, Bellatrix was defiinitely braver than Draco :]

And he always backed off of things, he was all talk and no show. I think she did a lot of showing and bragging, that scared people. Giving her more and more power as school went on.

I also think that she doesnt like lucius much. They seemed to have alot of tension in dh. It could be like they both wanted to be the best slytherin resulting in them not liking each other.

I agree, i think she is okay with the fact that he is married to her sister. But i think they are both striving to the be the very best. And that there is tension between them, becuase of that. But other than that i think thy probially got along well.

I think a lot of the tension is from striving to be the Dark Lord's favorites. Bellatrix was the favorite, and Lucius wanted to be it (at least, until towards the end of the Dark Lord's reign).

I think that she accepts that narcissa and lucius are married because she wants to maintain her family lineage of purebloods. I also think thats the same reason why she married lestrange. Not because she loved him but just cause she knew it was expected of her to marry at pureblood.

I agree, that is the reason she was okay with killing both tonks and sirius. Due to who they were, becuase in her mind. Only pure bloods, were right. And blood tratoirs and half bloods, didn't count as wizards and witches.

Exactly, and she was thrilled when she killed Sirius becuase he was a blood traitor. And hung out with werewolves and mudbloods, and half bloods. Instead of purebloods, and he was against voldie.
