I loved the part Aberforth played in DH! His role was such an important one, Harry never would have been able to get into Hogwarts without his help, there was no way, thus he couldn't have beaten Voldie! He proved he is a true Dumbledore to one and all!

I think he did more than being the doorway to Hogwarts. He let us see into Albus' past and he protected Harry after his brother's death, even if he had never met The Boy Who Lived before.

Do you think, Aberforth hated Albus even after Harry explained what he saw, when he drank that potion? Or mabye Aberforth forgave him? When, Harry was talking to him at Hogwarts, it didn't seem he forgave Albus at all, but he fought anyway.

Well, i think he did forgive Albus, because Albus did suffer. They didn't really know who killed Ariana, so Aberforth can't blame Albus forever.

I think Aberforth finally came to an understanding about why Albus had done what he did, but I'm not sure if he ever really forgave him completely. Ariana had died, after all, and he loved her deeply. But I think he was better at accepting and understanding what had happened at the end.

Hmm...

I think Aberforth had a very important role in DH. Despite the fact that he was only ever mentioned and only seen once in OotP, his role in DH was very important. If he hadn't found that mirror, he would not have been able to help Harry. Dobby wouldn't have saved Harry, Ron, Hermone, Luna, Dean, and Mr. Ollivander and Griphook. How would they have gotten out?

His role seemed small, but people don't really pay attention to how small things effect the overall outcome. He also helped Neville and the rest of the DA members and students who were apart of the rebellion within Hogwarts. Without him, something else could have happened to those students.

The smallest thing can effect the outcome of the biggest event. He was a very pivital character when it comes down to it.
