but PLEASE COMMENT! February 3rd,
First off, Vinegar has to be the healthiest drink on Earth. Do NOT forget to have a bottle of it strapped on your staff ALL the time. Secondly, hair dye is also necessary at all times as well. Remember to have at least five different bottles (some empty and some that have contents…not only hair dye) that all look the same on your staff. That way, the dang robber boys can’t get to them. Thirdly, on your belt, strap two short knives and a bit of water…just for if you need it in potions. Fourthly, if you are reading this…stop. I have my little friends (rats, bunny’s, weasels…etc) EVERYWHERE. And they WILL hunt you down even if I’m dead. And lastly, remember my name, Alisha (Ali) Jaques Vinegar. Because if I don’t have you hunted you’re my slave.
My Daddy told me so.

So. You’re the live paper Daddy promised me (I still don‘t believe him). Yes, I suppose you are. I’m going to have to name this…diary/journal/literature item. You are the color of gold/red/orange/yellow /something else…so I’m going to name you Amber. And you are going to be….my student. Not a diary or anything else…student. And you will listen to my every wish.

February 3rd, Even Later
Since you haven’t promised yet, I’ll will have to treat you like a baby. So…the commandments start. I will have to make sure Daddy sets up an obstacle course for you. And you, my idiotic student, Amber, will have to pass…if you don’t want to get BEATEN! So I suggest you pass. I also offer to train you my little clump of papers. Training will be something like this…since you were given to me on my birthday (a month or two ago on December 31st), and you’re my student, I’m French (though only lived there for 7 days), and I’m eight years old… your number in the race will be B87. You probably will have to fly and harness a stubborn, oily rat. Don’t worry, its only steep downhill. You’ll only tumble a bit. Be lucky I’m not throwing you off a cliff!
You know…o’er the cliff…my old China set needs some company…
Along with the dead Tiger I pushed off with my arrow.

Sorry I haven’t instructed you for a while now, Amber my faithful student. You got soaked in the obstacle course. Ugh. I HATE wet paper. How dare you betray me! You little brat, oh how I feel like tearing you up! Well. Anyway, I’m going to Caitlin’s house to see if my predictions are right. Now stay here, you little devil…

February 7th, Later
Back again. You stayed. I forgot to tell you who Caitlin is, huh? Caitlin O’Leary is one of the only friends out in the hills of Galway. There is this one muggle boy though…and he’s thoroughly annoying. But I’ll tell you about him later. Miss O’Leary is in her third year at BELLES. Yes, Belles. Not Hogwarts. I completely and entirely support it. NO BOYS! How pleasant. Oh…how I hope it holds through for another 4 years…Anyway, she’s very Irish. Very nice…and WAY to close to this one boy. Which I find is despairing. I have failed. That’s all I have to say. And if you mention it to me again…

Off the cliff you go!…
At Caitlin’s house I finally met this boy of hers. And I notice something. He choose her for something…its just the look in his eyes…yet I don’t know what.
Yet.
I saw some of her other friends there, though I paid no heed to them. They didn’t live in Galway, as far as I knew, and I would probably never see them again for another 4 years. And then I bet they’ll be finished in Hogwarts or in their 7th year. So I don’t care much for them.
If you have noticed, I’ve been telling you things you (and them) probably have no idea how I know. Its something I can do…I just…know things. And as I said before…do not question how I know. The cliff will be waiting.
Now to the little muggle boy named Erl. Erl Mannikin. Or so I think he‘s a muggle. You see, he knows what a muggle is. Then he says that he himself is a muggle. Interesting. No matter what he is, because he is a boy and I don’t really care, he’s terribly annoying. He plays a game called ‘elf’. He’s obsessed with it. Sometimes, he dares to call himself an elf. I’m always the fair lady in these games, but I know how to play back on him. I act as a betrayer, take a twig, ‘pretend’ it’s a knife, and stab him. Then I run away knowing he’ll play dead for the next five minutes then jump up and say something like.
“I am an elf, and my elf powers mix with my elixir and bring me back to life! Now where is my beautiful wonderful wife! And where is my assassin which I doth murder!”
I love to be hiding at that point and ‘sir’ Erl is horrible at the game hide and seek. The rest of the day is wasted for him while I throw twigs at him. I know I said he’s terribly annoying, but Caitlin is usually gone and Erl’s the only one who’ll hang out with a staff carrying freak like me.
I really should go from you…damp pieces of paper.
Ugh.
