Sirius turned over in his bed to face his nightstand; on top of it his large alarm clock with many different hands was ringing annoyingly loud. Sirius hit it with his pillow and pulled himself into a sitting position. His hair was sticking out in random places from sleep and his eyes had dark circles under them. He hardly got any sleep. He was too excited about Hogwarts.
After about 15 minutes Sirius walked out of his room, showered and ready.
He walked down the stairs and saw his mom waiting for him. “Are you finally ready?” She asked, annoyed.
“Yes, I’m ready!” He said smiling.
Sirius noticed that his dad had already left for work and Regulus was no where in sight.
“So, how are we getting there? Flew powder?” He asked grabbing a piece of toast.
“No. I’m taking you along with me through apparition.” She said frowning.
“Oh, great!” Sirius said. He walked up to his mother, prepared to leave until he heard Kreacher come around the corner.
“Kreacher, hurry up!” Mrs. Black screeched.
“Yes my sweet master.” Kreacher said in a low voice, full of admiration. Kreacher worshipped the ground she walked on, though Sirius didn’t know why because she was horrid to him.
“What do you mean? He’s not coming is he?” Sirius asked, anger rising inside him.
“Of course he is. Who else will make sure you keep out of trouble.” She said pushing her hair away from her face.
“You.” Sirius said confused.
“Well, no of course not! I have more important things to do. I’m going to get your money from the vault and then I must leave and Kreacher is going to keep an eye on you.” Mrs. Black said.
Sirius couldn’t even talk. How would he be able to stand an entire day with Kreacher?
Mrs. Black grabbed her son and, pop, they were gone. A second later Kreacher had vanished also, leaving the house completely empty.
Sirius, still frowning, had arrived in Diagon Alley with his mum and Kreacher. He looked around at all the different people, and could see other young people there, probably shopping for their supplies, same as him.
“I’m going to Gringotts. Stay here. Don’t get into trouble.” Mrs. Black said, looking around. “I’ll be back in a few minutes. Stay here!” She said once again, more sternly and walked away without looking at him.
Sirius sniggered as a young red head accidentally bumped into her. The look on his mothers face was priceless; as if the young girl had done something extremely offensive.
“Sorry about that!” He heard the red head say. His mother just stuck her nose in the air and walked away. The girl smiled nervously and walked off.

Hahaha! I agree! I love writing about the wierd Kreacher! There will be a lot more about his devoted personality in Sirius's next post!!

Peter Pettigrew and his father arrived at the Leaky Cauldron that morning on their way to Diagon Alley. Peter sat down at a table by himself while his dad ordered some firewhiskey. Mr. Pettigrew came down to Leaky Cauldron almost everyday. He was good friends with the bartender, Fletcher, and he just liked getting out of the house for a good drink without the stresses of family life.
After about ten minutes he traveled from the bar to Peter with a big smile on his face.
"Son, I just can’t wait till you get to go ter Hogwarts! I know yer going ter love it there. Just like yer old man right?" He said
Peter beamed.
"Ye-yeah dad.” Peter said too quickly. “Um, uh, can we go now?” He asked nervously, too excited to sit here watch his dad drink firewhisky.
“Oh, course son!” Mr. Pettigrew said getting from the table to leave, his mug of firewhiskey sitting untouched on the table.

Peter looked around in amazement at the Alley. It was filled with with people! Everywhere he looked he spotted something he wanted! Especially that pumpkin pasty that woman was holding! Yum!
“We’re gunna have ter stop to the bank first.” His father said matter-of-factly. “Here, follow me son.”
Peter followed him down the crowded road. They were getting closer and closer to the huge white building, when his father stopped in front of him. Peter ran into his back and stumbled backward a few steps. He looked around his dad’s big form to see a man younger than his dad. He was tall and had messy black hair. Behind him a woman with dark brown hair and glasses was crouched down talking to a boy who could only be there son. He had messy black hair, just like his dads, and glasses were propped up on his nose.
“Ay! Aren’t you Ben Pettigrew?” The man had asked.
“Yes. That’s me.” Mr. Pettigrew said in a fake bored tone. He actually loved the attention his quidditch days brought him.
“Oy! Do you remember Martin Potter? He was on the Gryffindor team the year you Hufflepuffs slaughtered them!” He said a big grin on his face. “He still talks about it! It was a big shame to him at first of course, but now he just compliments the great Pettigrew!” The man said a big, polite smile on his face. “Oh, the names Potter by the way!”
“Oh, yeah. I remember him. He made that win a bit more difficult than the others!” His father said a big grin on his face. “This here’s my son, Peter. He’ll be attending his first year at Hogwarts in September, wont cha boy?” He exclaimed, his chest swelling with pride once more. Peter showed himself from behind his father smiling sheepishly up at the man.
“He’ll be mighty happy you said that!” Mr. Potter said.
“My son, James, got his letter just yesterday! He’ll be a first year too!” Mr. Potter said giving a comforting smile to the small boy. His own son, James, had appeared to be finished talking to his mother and was now standing in front of them all.
Peter didn’t know how to explain it, but a certain confidence seemed to surround this kid.
“Hey there Peter! I hope we get the same house!” He said politely, as if to get it over with; but Peter couldn’t tell.
“Hi. I-I hope so too!” He replied.
“Okay, mom, can we go now? I want to stop by Ollivanders before it’s too crowded!” James said, turning his smiling face into one of pleading. But, it seemed to work because the woman put her hand on Mr. Potter’s shoulder and they headed off to the shop. Mr. Potter gave one last wave to Peter and his dad and said, “Hope to see you two later!”
