For the first time--EVER--me and Cale Newell agree on something.
People are stupid.
Once we got off the train and I was forced into Flooing back to his pathetic little house, we actually got to talking over dinner and both realized that we both hate rude people. Who would have thought that the day would come when me and Cale agreed on something?
Of course, after that he dumped his tea ALL over my lap, which I swear was on purpose. Even someone as clumsy as him doesn't just throw their tea on someone by accident. I think he was doing it to get back at me for the fact that I stole his guitar a few hours earlier and accidently broke a few of the strings, but it's not like it matters. He never plays it anyways cause he's scared of the stupid thing. Then I started yelling at him and he had the nerve to say that I was rude, so I guess it turns out we still don't have much in common and we still hate each other.
So I flushed all his jelly slugs down the toliet. Halfway through doing this it kind of clogged up, so I just left it there. He hasn't noticed yet, but it's only a matter of time.
Hmm, I wonder what he would do if I shaved off his sideburns in his sleep? Or made them totally uneven or something?
Anyways, I'm getting distracted again.
At least I'm away from that stupid cup drama. Even Cale got himself stupid enough to get into the middle of a fight about that thing (not too surprising, but still, he's a flipping prefect! Aren't they supposed to be role models or something? Whoever picked him to be a prefect is obviously TOTALLY mental). But seriously, I was about to hex to next person who muttered even one word about that cup.
Wanna know the truth? You're all losers. Get over it. It's a dumb cup. The fact that we even have this stupid competition in the first place completely befuddles me. All it does is cause trouble, have you noticed? Seriously. I thought we were supposed to be getting RID of interhouse rivalries.
Oh, no, I have to go now. Cale just found the jelly slugs and he's yelling for his mum. Wuss. |

I never thought I'd meet someone I hated more than Cale, but that's not true. In fact, I hate this person so much more than Cale that when I'm around her, I usually forget all about him.
It's his stupid, prissy, oh-so-perfect girlfriend Anna Greingoth.
It's not enough that she's a prefect, she's had the top grades in Gryffindor since her first year, and she's an amazing keeper, and she thinks she's dating the best guy in the world (not) she has to go throw it in everyone's face all the time. I honestly don't think I've ever heard her talk about anything BUT Cale, and she knows how much I don't like him! The least she could do is not sing his praises every time I'm around...but of course that's just too hard for her.
Not to mention, she actually had the nerve to throw CAKE in my face at Reese's party. I didn't even want to be there in the first place, but Beth insisted that I go with Cale, since apparently she thinks I have no friends of my own and Cale has loads of friends. Bleh. That's so not true! Anyways, after a bit of arguing (and yelling on Cale's part) we both realized we were not winning this argument at all so I just sucked up my pride and went along with him. I should have known it was going to be an utter disaster.
It all started with one of the Ravenclaw girls there, who dropped a cake on Cale's face. Which was absolutely hilarious, so of course I started laughing. Then Little Miss Bossy gets all annoyed and runs at me with a cake and dumps in on my dress! Now, she claims it was an accident and she didn't mean to hit me, but that's a total lie. She was only saying that so Cale wouldn't get angry with her, and of course it worked. So, naturally, I had to do something in return, so I chucked some cake in her face. To make a long story short, we got in a bit of a fight and Cale yelled at me, not Anna, ME, and after that I locked myself in the bathroom for an hour. Pssh. Stupid prefect.
On a happier note, I got a letter today from Slater that his wife, Christina, had the baby this morning! It's a girl, named Gabriela, and she has the same color hair and eyes as Slater, and lots of hair just like her mum. I can't wait till I get to go see her, which will hopefully be sometime before school starts, if Dad will let me travel to London. If not, maybe I'll sneak over there really quick before going to Diagon Alley. I doubt Cale will notice I'm gone--in fact, he'll probably be really excited. | |
