so most (okay all) of you don't know me. I'm Andy i made an ff for my character, but nobody seemed to like it. And I've been reading these stories of Albus Severus, and his reaction to Scorpius. but not many people are taking in Scorpiuses point-of-View. So I’m going to be doing both sides of the story (it will move more slowly because I’m doing both sides of some chapter... and only one side of other)
Like in my other ff I’m going to say this, if something needs to be fixed with my writing TELL ME! i want to know everything to make this FF successful.

Albus waved goodbye to his parents from the blazing red train. When he finally lost sight of the platform Albus turned around only to see James already walking away. "Hey!" Albus called out "where are you sitting?" James caught sight of his friends and yelled back "Far away from you!" Disappearing into a compartment in the back of the train.

Albus felt a little disappointed , but not surprised. So he decided to leave James alone and go find Rosie. After a few jam packed compartments, he finally found Rosie beside the compartment window. She smiled as he sat down in front of her.

They were both rather quiet for a while watching the lakes and trees zoom past. While watching a giant field of cows and horses grazing, they suddenly heard someone say behind them "Excuse me. May I sit here... everywhere else is full." Albus turned around to see the boy that Uncle Ron had pointed out to his father at the station. His blond Hair almost completely blended with his pale skin. At last nodding to the boy, Albus smiled and gestured to the seat beside him.

"I'm Scorpius by the way, Scorpius Malfoy." He said a little more confidently. "I'm Albus and this is Rosie." Scorpius didn't look as solemn and lonely as he seemed at the station. Rosie was now looking out the window again. He smiled to himself, at least he had someone to talk to.

As the sky began to darken they changed into robes. Soon their conversations turned from family (it seemed Scorpius's father didn't talk much of his childhood...neither ) to Hogwarts (scorpius seemed to be under the impression that his parents would do something like disown him if he wasn't in Slytherin.) "Actually" Albus said "Slytherin might not be that bad." Rosie shot him an angry look. "You can't be serious, Al." She said, Rosie had not spoken since Scorpius had entered "You've heard what they say about that house, you heard how bad the people in Slytherin are." Albus decided to change the subject to classes they will be taking. And which will be the most fun to learn. ("Divination seems interesting, knowing the future, too bad we only start it in our 3rd year.")

The train started to slow, it was now reaching Hogsmead station. He was starting to feel excited. He looked over at Scorpius it seems as though his face had literally lighten up, but then he realized it was the light from the lanterns outside. As the cut through the crowd (Rosie a few steps behind.) they saw a giant shadow gleaming over the other first years. Albus smiled as he looked up. “Hagrid!” He yelled out running to front of the crowd of first years.

okay I’ll post Scoprius's Side as soon as I get to it. I’ll get started on that…please feel free to post what you think, I like comments (constructive suggestions are very much appreciated.) I will also be doing Rosie and James If I feel some ideas pop into my head

This has a really good plot. I enjoy reading it I only suggest making the chapters longer. If you didnt have time thats different. Cant wait for more! PAMS!

After losing sight of his parents he turned to find an empty compartment. He saw a boy running into a compartment and another, around his age, calling after the first. Then the second disappeared into a different compartment. He started walking up and down the train to find one for himself. After walking the train for a while he decided there was no where else and had to go into one with only two people, he slid open the door rather quietly. There was a boy and a girl inside both silent, facing the window. He cleared his throat to get their attention both looked at him. “Excuse me” he said a little embarrassed to have to ask this “May I sit here…Everywhere else is full.” There was a long grueling silence where the boy was surveying him, the girl already looking back out the window. He was starting to get a little nervous, but finally the boy smiled and nodded.

“I’m Scorpius, by the way, Scorpius Malfoy.” He said it more confidently this time. “I’m Albus, and this is Rosie.” Said the boy. He was making a friend he thought to himself, ‘lets just hope this one lasts…’ Soon they were talking about their families (He couldn’t say much since his father barley talk about it, luckily neither did Albus’s.) This change to houses (Rosie finally spoke for the first time, but she was furious when Albus said he might consider Slytherin.) But Albus didn’t much like being yelled at so he hastily changed it to classes (“I think transfiguration sounds interesting, turning some thing into something else.” While Albus was talking about Divination)

As the sky out side darkened they changed into their robes. Next the candy trolley came by but Rosie and Albus weren’t very hungry so he just bought a few choclate frogs and a pack Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Beans. (“Eugh….” He cried out “Boogie Flavored”) Rosie was reading through her books but Albus didn’t even give her a second glance. She had even left and come back but Albus hadn’t even notice she had gone. It seemed Albus was so excited to have someone else to talk to, since it looked like Albus and Rosie had already discussed these things many times.

Slowly, but surely the train came to a halt. They were finally here, at Hogsmead station. They were nearly there… he felt chills going up his spine. So long he had waited for this moment. He looked at Albus, who was just as excited as him, and at Rosie who for the first time this train ride had broken out in a smile.

He and Albus walked together to the rest of the First years. Rosie had trouble keeping up with then as they both were almost running. They stopped very suddenly with the rest of the crowd. When a gigantic shadow bore over them and the rest of the first years. “Hagrid!” Albus Screamed as his smile grew larger and larger by the second… Hagrid? What’s a hagrid? But as he was pulled by Albus to the front, His question was answered. Looking up he saw a man. Two times the height and four times the width of a normal human. Hagrid was a man…a giant man.

Boys… she thought to her self as she stepped down from the train they were already at the crowd of first years in from of Hagrid. Might as well be nice and talk to Hagrid, at least. She wanted to tell him so much stuff. He always listens without interfering, She should be more excited to see Hagrid… to be at Hogwarts, but some how she just didn’t feel so keen on Albus and Scorpius being Friends. Was she being selfish, or jealousy. NO, she couldn’t be jealous. Scorpius seemed nice but she wanted a new friend of her own. But there was something about Scorpius that she Just couldn’t shake off. “Hi Hagrid.” She said finally reaching the front of the queue. Scorpius and Albus were already in a boat. “Rosie, so nice to see ya.” He said gently patting her on the back, but rough enough to push her into the same boat as Albus.

The boats skimmed the silent glass like lake. Even thought there were many boats the lake was barley Disturbed. “You’ll be seein’ your first glimpse of ‘Ogwarts, soon. Heads down” He said as they reached a rock cavern that was head level. Then an echo of gasps and ooh’s as a Giant castle came into view. It Gleamed tall and majestically as it reflected across the dark lake. She looked back at the boys, they were completely livid with excitement. And now she finally admitted it to herself, yes she was nervous. But Albus and Scorpius didn’t need to know it she can hide it long enough.

They walk through the Entrance Hall, over the school crest of a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake all around a big ‘H’. They then saw another pair of large doors and an extremely great amount of noise coming from it. The rest of the school must be in there. But She suddenly notice Hagrid was not leading them there but to a smaller room, yet still rather large off a short corridor. But soon after they had entered another man entered, as Hagrid left. It was Neville. He entered and everyone fell silent. Neville Smiled at them all then said “Soon you will walk through those doors and feast for the opening of the term… but before we can eat we must be sorted into our houses. If you don’t already know, ther are four houses. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.” “I shall set up for sorting to begin. Please wait here while I get them ready for you.” At that he left everyone in silence then a loud bang and the door flew open again.

“ OOOOHHH…” Squeaked the person…ghost. Who was holding water balloons. “Wee Little Firsties , All in a room. What Fun, WHAT FUN!!!” “Little firsties ‘bout to be sorties"… he swooped down to a girl up it front “You wanna be sorted?” He asked in a caring motherly voice. The girl nodded. “HEHE WEE LITTLE FIRSTIE WANNA BE SORTED, WEE LITTLE FIRSTIES GOTTA FIGHT A TROLL.” He stopped zooming around the room cackling at a boy behind Rosie and said. “EXCEPT FOR YOU, YOU GOTTA FIGHT ME!” And dropped all his water filled balloons on him.
Neville entered back into the room. Seeing the ghost and screamed at the top of his voice. The loudest Rosie had ever heard him scream “OUT PEEVES.” As the ghost zoomed out of the open door cackling, Neville said “Great…First day at Hogwarts and you guys already have to meet Peeves, our poltergeist. Still don’t understand why we haven’t kicked him out yet, but the Fat Friar insists on trying to train him. There was a loud smash out side as it seems Peeves knocked something over. “He’s in a right mood.” Said a voice from behind them. “Hello, Sir Nick.” Neville said a little calmer. “WE have just held a ghost counsel and decided it still unwise to let peeves feast with us. You know how he is. He can’t see a plate of food without chucking it at someone.” And Sir Nick the ghost glided away.

“Well, make a line and follow me. They’re ready for you.” The boy behind her was still dripping as they entered the Great Hall to a roar of commotion. Rosie looked up at the ceiling and saw the starry night sky. Just as her mother explained it.

im liking it some. i think this is my first third generation fic so yeah, its cool so far

Is it only me or Rosie will be a Slytherin and Albus and Scorpius will be Gryffindors? :O

They still didn't kick out Peeves? Poor firsties xD

After they had said hi to Hagrid, and Rosie had Joined them. They set off across the lake. Hagrid in a boat all to himself (cause no one else could fit) lead the fleet of self rowing boats. “You’ll be seein’ your first glimpse of ‘Ogwarts soon. Heads Down.” He called back as they reached a cavern. Then he Brought his head back into position, and there gleaming tall and handsomely across the lake was Hogwarts. “OOH”s and Gasps echoed from the boats. He couldn’t believe his eyes. No matter how much he was told about this castle nothing compared to the actually sight. None of it could have stopped him from looking so surprised. He was finally here, he had been waiting for this moment his whole life.

Hagrid walked them across the Entrance Hall. Over the Hogwarts Crest (A giant ‘H’ surrounded by 4 animals. A lion, a snake, an eagle, and a badger.) They passed a Doorway which had a lot of noise coming from it. James must be in there with the other students. But Hagrid did not stop. We kept walking until we reached a rather isolated door, and stepped in with the rest. The room was rather big, but the first years filled the whole room. He and scorpius were nearest the door. Suddenly the door opened and Hagrid stepped out as Neville walked in. Neville looked around the room and smiled. Then he said “Soon you will walk through those doors and feast. But before we can eat, we must be sorted into our houses. If you don’t already know there are four houses. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.” “I shall go and set up for sorting to begin. Please wait while I get them ready for you.” At that he left, but not before throwing a ‘Good-luck’ smile at Albus. Who did his best to return in it. Then the door bust open one more time.



“OOOOHHHHH” Squeeked the ghost in front of them. “WEE Little Fisties All In A Room.” He suddenly noticed that the ghost was holdin water ballons. “What Fun! WHAT FUN!!” “WEE LITTLE FISTIES BOUT TO BE SORTIES.” He then swooped down towards a girl next to Scorpius. “You Wanna Be Sorted.” He asked in a sweet, caring voice. She nodded “WEE LITTLE FIRSTIES WANNA BE SORTIES. TEENY WEENY LIL’ FIRSTIE GOTTA FIGHT A TROLL!” Cackleing he started zooming around the room again, then stoped at a boy behind Rosie. “EXCEPT FOR YOU… YOU GOTTA FIGHT ME!!” Then Dropped all his balloons on the boys head, now dripping from head to toe. The Door opened again and thought the doors and saw the ghostly prankster. Then at the top of his voice yelled “OUT PEEVES!!!” Then Peeves did one more lap around the first years and zoomed out the open door cackling.

Scorpius looked at Al who was in front of him. He could see albus shaking. Shaking from excitement, and shaking from nervousness. Just like him. He turned to look for Rosie. They haven’t seen her since they got off the boat. Still he could not see her but then he looked up at the starry ceiling above him. As he stared at the sparkling eyes above, he felt himself oddly calming down. The Hat was now centered. The slits of the hat opened then to great amusement started to sing:

“Many years ago four founder stood here tall.
One of Great Ambition, one of Clever Wit,
One of Bravest Measure, and one of Friendship Loyal.
Though different in these ways, they shared one common goal.
To educate young wizard minds, to teach them all they know.

Oh. These four founder made a plan, and thus this school was formed.
But soon these four friends split apart.

And each wished, to teach those their own.

Old Gryffindor to teach those of Bravest Might

Ravenclaw to teach those of witted Mind

Sour Slytherin to teach those of purest Blood

Sweet Hufflepuff minded not to teach those left behind

But these four founders getting old still found not
A way to split new young ones
when they had turned to dust.
But Great Gryffindor then swept me off his head
Magicked me up, and set me down and told me when he’s dead
To set those students in four houses 'til my end

As the sorting hat ended and fell silent again the Professor that was talking to them before unrolled a scroll and said “When I call your name, you shall step up, sit down on the stool and put the sorting hat on top of your head.”

“Aricon, Gale” It took the hat a while but finally the hat said “Ravenclaw” and walked over to a table to the left. “Avirica, Hailey” became a second “Ravenclaw”. Then “Bailey, Evan” Became a Griffyndor. And “Creevey, Brian” became the second Gryffindor. Students steping up one by one. Some students the sorting hat took longer to sort than others. “Lyster, Jonathon” became another Gryffindor. “Malfoy, Scorpius” The professor looked up then took a quick double take back at the name. Scorpius walked up to the stool, and the professor put the Hat on his head and it fell over his eyes. Then he heard a voice in his head, ‘Ah, a Malfoy…” For a while the hat was silent. Thinking long and hard. “I would think…but your not like them. And you have the deepest hunger to prove that…Well…Then Prove it…GRYFFINDOR!” He called this last word Out to everyone. And he went over to sit with the rest of the Gryffindors.

“Myers, Robin” was so excited to be a Slytherin that she had accidentally gone with the hat, and embarrassed she huuried back to give the hat to the professor. But as the hat called out Slytherin, he started thinking…What would his father say. He would probably disown Scorpius…Say he’d never had a son. But what if Draco was happy. His father would find out the truth sooner or later, why not from him.

But his mind shifted from his father to the sorting hat again, as the professor called out “Potter, Albus” then suddenly the Hat called out Gryffindor. Who excitedly took off the hat and ran down high fiving the person next to him, the one he saw on the train. After several more students two were left. “Walker, Rachel” Became another Ravenclaw. Now only rosie was left. “Weasley, Rosie.” She steped up to the stool after many minutes of silence the hat Yelled out “Slytherin.” The shock and horror was evident on her face she just sat there for a few minutes until the cheers from the slytherin table subsided. Then the professor gave a slight push on rosies back, And she walked, walked all the way over to the slytherin table. She sat down at the table, then looked over at albus who smiled sweetly at her. Then she looked at me and as her eyes met mine, she smiled.

Okay so I kinda want to keep this story going so most chapters wont have two parts, but i'll put moment I think is essential with another persons POV but not a full chapter

The hall was silent, and the three legged stool was placed at the staff table. Everyone’s eyes stared intently at the hat, as though their gaze will make it spring to life. But the next moment she noticed the hats seams opened and it started to sing. Mum and Dad Never, not once said anything about this…


“Many years ago four founder stood here tall.
One of Great Ambition, one of Clever Wit,
One of Bravest Measure, and one of Friendship Loyal.
Though different in these ways, they shared one common goal.
To educate young wizard minds, to teach them all they know.

Oh. These four founder made a plan, and thus this school was form.
But soon these four friends split apart.
And they each believed, to teach those their own.

The hat ended and as though a bomb went off a roar of applouse filled the room. And the hat went silent.

After a few names were called and a few first years sorted the name “Malfoy, Scorpius” echoed from Neville, over the loud chatter of the older students, and newly sorted students. After a minute or two the hat screamed “GRYFFINDOR.” Oh well Scorpius wont bother her. Maybe he’ll turn out ok.

Then it was Al’s turn… “GRYFFINDOR.” Now she feels better, if albus is a Gryffindor Then She must be too.

But after “Walker Rachael.” She didn’t feel like she would fit anywhere. “Weasley, Rosie.” Neville called out, then noticed she was the last one she moved forward up the small set of stairs to the stool. She sat, Then looked at Neville who gave an encouraging smile. He place the hat over her head, and it sliped down her face

“Ahhh….A Weasley. Well I would say I know exactly where to put you, but oddly I see something more than courage in your mind. Yes, A Thirst, An Ambition to Prove your difference. And yet you don’t seem like you want Slytherin. But my dear, Slytherin Wants you, oh yes. I can see it in your mind. In every Chamber of your brain. You are smart, yes but you are no Ravenclaw. You are Just but you are no Hufflepuff. I am sorry my child I see no other obvious choice you are a… SLYTHERIN!” But before the hat was taken off her head it quickly whispered as if he knew she was scared “You’re parents will love you all the same. I knew you’re parents.” and at that he ended and fell silent. After a few seconds of comprehending what just happened she quietly got up and walked over to the Slytherin Table.

She looked back at the Gryffindors to see Albus talking and Scorpius staring at her, his eyes met hers and she smiled, She smiled the first smile in hours. She was not a Gryffindor, but she was…She was Rosie, she did not have to be a Gryffindor to be Rosie. The hat was right her parents will be happy all the same.

She waited for The potions master to open the door with the other First year Slytherins. Foot steps filled the stairs. The Gryffindors were on their way. She saw Albus and Scorpius First. “Hi Al…Hey Scorp.” She then realized she was staring At Scorpius, and looked away rather embarrassed. “Hey Rose” They said in unison. Then the door to the potions room opened, but the Professor was still at the desk. He was an old man, graying hair, and rather wrinkled skin. Everyone started to come in. “Hello Children. I am Professor Rumsky, your potions master, and Slytherin head of house.” At last when everyone was at a counter he looked up from his papers. Looked around the Room and said. “Potions is not a class to fool around in. You play around and you will not be happy, you pay attention and do your work, then I think we will get along quite well.” And he smiled. “Well then I’ll take roll.” He pretty much flew through the names stopping every now and again to look up, obviously knowing their family, then he stopped at Albus, but this pause was longer then the rest. He stared at Al like everyone had stared at them at the station. But this stare was long and it brought chills down her spine. This time there was no dad to make a joke.

After Potions Slytherin had Transfiguration with the Ravenclaws. Professor Hirtigal was a rather short woman. But unlike Professor Rumsky her face was kind and welcoming. She too read through roll. But she didn’t stop at any name. After roll she said “In this class you will change something into something else, but you will start off small. Work your way up. Earn my respect, and earn the ability of transfiguration.

They then went to charms with the Ravenclaws again a tall woman named Professor Firtry taught it. She seemed like a teacher that would never yell or punish them. But after a boy got a detention on the First day then she changed her mind.

They then had Lunch, Al and Scorpius came to sit with her. She was beginning to like Scorpius. But after a while they were joined by Peeves, who smashed a some yogurt in a fifth years face and they went to classes early In case they got lost, and so so peeves doesn’t drop the gravy he was holding over them on their heads.

Soon Al and Scorpius had to go down a different corridor to the charms room as she went History of Magic, and just as Dad had said it was tought by the most boring person, a Ghost who didn’t even let death stand in the way of him and teaching, hids name was professor Binns, and he was not about to let the first day of classes get in the way of him and wizarding history.

After dinner she went down to the Common Room, and saw her family owl with a letter on its leg. It was her fathers hand writing, it was the moment she was dreading about all day.

“Welcome back students” said professor Binns. After taking roll-call he put down his scroll of parchment, and for the first time looked like he was going to do something fun. But of coarse he started talking again. “Today, is your first day back so I want to start you off with something fun.” Fun? Professor Binns didn’t even know the meaning of fun. “Well shall start with some Recent History” Recent? Everything is recent for him. “We shall look at Recent Falls of the Dark Arts.” At this James Perked up a little. “Starting With the Most Recent A man By the Name of Delter Sambatine.” He said… James knew about him. His Father helped Subdue him when he was 20. He had just started in the ministry as an Auror. James didn’t listen much he was to busy playing with his wand. But Professor Binns didn’t stay on him long. Which was very unusual.

“Now…” He said rather misty like. “The next person I shall talk to you about is Lord Voldemort, Tom Riddle…He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.” James heard of the name before but didn’t know what was so big about him. “Some say he was the most powerful wizard of all time…Evil, Dark. Yes. But Great.” Everyone was now giving him their full attention. “Lord Voldemort, produced the only Avada Kadavra Curse ever to be survived.” And for some strange reason most were now glancing Occasionally over at him. “It was survived By a boy, A man now…named Harry Potter.” James’ inside froze. “After that day. Voldemort, Disappeared. But did not die. Finally When Harry Came to school here Voldemort came out fr4om hiding and tried to take and item from the school. This item would bring him back to full life. But He did not succeed. Harry and two others saved the school and delayed Voldemorts return. But three years later He finally Succeeded in returning. After Putting Harry’s name into the Tri-Wizard Tournament under a different school. Voldemort Set Harry into a trap and used him to return to his former self. Once again Harry escaped.” How…How was he never told this. All the extra attention and staring from students. All because of this. All because of something that happened 36 years ago. But Professor Binns continued “The next year no body believed Him nor Headmaster Dumboldore of Voldemorts retun. The end of Harry’s fifth year. He and a few friends went to the ministry to supposedly save his Godfather…It was a trap. Soon after a fight with some death eaters, Voldemort himself turned up. And Once again Harry escaped. And the Ministry Saw. The Whole of the Aurors Saw. Voldemort was back. The next year Dumboldore decided it time to teach Harry how to fight Voldemort. How to defeat him. But Soon Dumbeldore was supposedly Murderd By one of his more trusted teachers. Professor Severus Snape.” James was completely Dumbfounded. WHY! Why would His father Name Al after Headmaster Dumboldore and the man Who killed him. “Harry then continued his journey with his two friends Mr. Ronald Weasley, and Miss Hermione Granger.” They Knew! They were in on it. “I HAD A RIGHT TO KNOW AND THEY NEVER TOLD ME!!!” This last thought blurted out uncontrollably. “I’m sorry sir…” he said a little embarrassed. “Go on.” but he answered back. “No… your right you should have been told.” He still had a very unreadable expression on his transparent face. “Class dismissed, please don’t get into trouble since I dismissed you early. And James come here.” After everyone filed out the door Professor Binns started “ I think you should see the headmaster about this. Behind his desk you will find the largest picture of all the other headmasters. His name is Professor Dumbeldore He will tell you all you need to know. I knew your father. I thought him. After seeing the former headmaster, head over to the owlery. Your father would want to know that you found out. The head master lives behind the large Gargoyle on the second floor. The password is…Black Thread.” Odd password.

After thanking Professor Binns he made his way to the second floor. Behind a Gargoyle, which jumped to life and moved as he said “Black thread.” A spiral stair case lay behind it. It lead up to a Door with a large brass knocker. He knocked and a voice from behind said. “Enter.” Behind the desk was the head master Professor Gordon “Ahh James come in, how may I help you today?… Chocolate” He offered pointing to a tray of fudge. “Ummm….. No thank you…” James said leaning juist a little to the left to see the picture behind him. And just as professor Binns said there sat Professor Dumbeldore. Slumped, sleeping against his frame. “ Came to see professor Dumbledore.” Straightening back up. Professor Gordon did not look surprised at all, but simply turned slightly and said “You heard him Albus, come on sit up straight. You have a visitor.” But suddenly Professor Gordon Got up and left the room with a simple “Good-Bye” Now he was face to face with Professor Dumbledore. “So… You found out.” “Tell me what you know, and after that I suggest you get Professor Gordon. I think Its best your father hears that you found out too. He will help me explain everything.” He said “And Severous Snape?” He asked. “Everything.”

I needed to bring James a little part in this ( oh and Professor Binns starts getting Interesting... Well to james he does, he's just as boring, but James starts likeing him more)

How came that they never told James? It was pretty obvious that he knew in the epilogue.. But maybe they told him only the basics because they thaught he was to small :S

She looked at the envelope in disgust. She knew she wasn’t going to get off with this. Her father was completely Irrational about this. She slowly Opened the letter.

My Dearest Rosie,

I was hoping to hear from you first. But then your uncle Harry sent me a note saying that he had gotten a letter from James. I am not angry with you. It’s not your fault. You’re a Slytherin now…There is nothing I can do about it. But I Know You WILL BE DIFFERENT. You, are and amazing witch. And you will prove to me that not all slytherins are bad. But I will always have my Hate of slytherins. It won’t change. But neither will my love towards you. You’re special and don’t let anything I say against you’re friends or your house change our connection. I love you Rosie. And I know you’ll do great no matter what house your in.

She finished reading with a few hot tears swelling in her eyes. But she blinked a few times to, get rid of them…She didn’t want anyone seeing her cry. Dad was so Stupid sometimes. But she knew nothing she could say could change him. When she looked up. Another owl was sitting beside the first. She took the letter. It was from Hagrid!

Dear Rosie,

Come have some tea with me this Friday after classes you can tell me how your first week of school was.

Well at least she had something to look forward to after the week. She looked up at the clock. She decided it was too early to say cooped up in this, Lake green common Room. She was still rather hungry. Maybe She could get something from the kitchens. James already told her how to get in.

Walking though the halls she saw a boy sitting at a wall reading a book. “Hello” She said sitting down next to him. “hello” The boy said looking up from his book. “What are you reading.” “Oh, some random book my dad gave to me. He said it would help make History of magic, a little better and more interesting so I could sleep through class and still do well.” He gave a small laugh. “ Well the book is just as boring as class. Leave it to dad to give me a book that can put even Professor Binns to sleep. My names Doon Jordan, I’m a Hufflepuff. Dad wanted me to be Gryffindor. I don’t know how to break it to him.” He said. “My names Rose Weasley.” She said “My parents wanted me in Gryffindor too. Dad already Sent a message. Thought I was going to Here him yell all the way from our house.” She said smiling. “You’re a Slytherin then? I saw you at the sorting” “Yea…Thought I was going to die, But I didn‘t see you…well I wasn‘t paying a lot of attention. I was rather nervous.”

Right then Scorpious walked by unexpectedly. “Hi rosie” He said “Had a good first day?” “Yea.. I guess” She said with a smile. “I’m going down to the kitchens for a little snack, you guys want to come?” He asked politely “Sure I was just heading that way. Doon You wanna come?” She asked, it would be rather rude to leave him here. “Okay” He said hopping up and dropping his book. “Umm…You forgot your book.” She said “What Book?” Doon said with a slight smile and a wink.

They got to a Portrait of fruits, And they tickled the pear just like James hap said. They entered and saw “WINKY” Rose said “Oh Hello Miss Rosie. Hows You mother?” Winky asked stopping in front of them as the rest gathered around them with trays. “Good, I didn’t know you worked here winky?” She said still calming down from the surprise. “Oh Yes Miss, Working here since Dobby came with winky to see professor Dumbledore.” But Winky Stopped… She started wailing “DOBBY…POOR D-D-DOBBY” “I’m sorry winky.” She said taking a few snacks and said “We should probably go. We’re going to miss curfew.” “Sorry Miss…” Said a rather old house elf “you missed curfew already”

“Great” Scorp and Rose said together, Doon had gone the other way. They had just bumped into Peeves. “OOOHHHH LITTLE ICKLE STUDENTS OUT OF BBED PAST CURFEW. MISTER REDLE WON’T LIKE THIS. LIL’ FIRSTIES OUTTA BED…LIL’ FIRSTIES OUTTA BED.” He zoomed away cackling. They knew they had to run or they would get detention on their first day. Saying a quick “Good-Bye” They ran off to their common rooms. Finally inside, she was safe…Hopefully Scorpious got there safely too. He was farther away then her. But For now she need some sleep. She should have gotten to know the other students but for now she would sleep. She just Realized Al wasn’t with them…?

They Dropped down in front of the fire in the comfy Armchairs. “Well that was a great day” Scorp said mockingly. “You wish Scorp, We still haven’t finished. Theres one more thing we have to do.” He said smiling while scorpious sat up straight “Yeah? And whats that?” “We need to bother my brother. Trust me he scared the heck out of me with his stories.” Al said “Okay…One problem” Scorpious said “Whats that?” “He’s not here” Al finnaly took in his surroundings…James would go to sleep now, not when theres all these people to joke with, and tease. But Al was tired, he didn’t want to go to sleep yet, but he was way too tired. Suddenly Scorpious looked at al. He was snoring. And scorp’s stomach was rumbling. Might as well see the kitchen. He should have eaten more.

Leaving the kitchen in a hurry with Rose and Doon. They met up with Peeves, as Doon ran the other way to the hufflepuff common room.

After Peeves zoomed off, he ran up the marble stair case to the seventh floor. Stopping at no movement. Reaching the portrait of the fat lady “Fiddles” And entered. He was safe. But not for long

“YOU WENT DOWN TO THE KITCHENS WITHOUT ME!” Albus screamed. Everyone else was watching, as James Entered right after him. “What’s all this? Scorpious, you went down to the kitchens without Al?…Nice! I’m growing to like you.”

Hey…” Scorp said as they sat in their dormitory. “I brought you some stuff” “Thanks” Al said finally talking to him again.

“He’s not there” Said James as he came back in. “Well then, I guess you’ll have to do it. Go to the fire place and throw a hand full of floo powder in, saying
Your house.” James did as he was told. “Okay now put your head in…Just your head please.” He did as he was told and saw his house as though he were in it. Then he saw his dad, mum and Lily sitting at the kitchen table. “Dad” He called to them. “JAMES! What…Why…” Harry said as he walk towards the fire place. “Dad we have to clear stuff up. Dumbledore Wants a word with you and me.” Harry froze, then looked at Ginny. “Come on” She said “I think we should both go, Lily this might take a while. Finish eating, put on Pajamas and got to bed. You don’t have to fall asleep. But at least try.” Harry spoke again “James, we’ll be there in a minute. Go sit and make your self comfortable.”

Harry and Ginny came out of the fire a few minutes into the long silence between him and Dumbledore. “Hello Professor” Ginny said smiling at the portrait “Nice to see you again Albus” Harry said a chill went down his back, how long has it since he’s ben in this office. 10 years, 15 “20” Said Dumbledore smiling. “ can read you like a book Harry Even if I am just a picture.” Harry felt no comfort in this. “Well… How did he find out” Harry said as though James wasn’t in the room. “ Professor Binns” Albus said Simply “Professor Binns? But Why” Ginny Asked “It was part of the lesson. He Was teaching us about historical dark wizards.” James said, they finally realized he was sitting there. “How much Do you know?” Ginny asked, kneeling down next to him. “IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW MUCH I KNOW” He yelled “I want to hear it from you. I want to know that none of it is a lie. You’ve lied to me so much already” Then Albus said “I think I should start from the very beginning. Before even your father came into the picture…Tom Riddle, now Voldemort. Was a student here, but I always felt there was something wrong…”

“Your grandparents, we’re sitting in godrics hollow with me. When Voldemort Burst in, James, My father. Told Lily to take me upstairs. Voldemort ripped through him like a paper veil. Then went upstairs to confront lily. He told that she need not die. But she didn’t step a side, he just killed her. Then came to me. But I didn’t die, He lost his power. And made one more Horcrux that day.” Then James interrupted “But why would Pettigrew tell Voldemort so easily. And why didn’t voldemort want to kill my grandmother.” Then Albus stepped in “Well we don’t really know why Pettigrew went to Voldemort, but we knew he loved to hang around people that could protect him, powerful people. And As we said before Severouse snape begged Him not to….”

“…The wand flew up in the air and instead of killing me, it went after Voldemort…” Harry finished “So do you think he will ever come back…” “It’s been 20 years James. We burned his body. He’ll never come back. But James you have to promise us something. You wont tell Albus or Rosie, this is now between us. And James one more thing before we go.” James listened “Whats that.” “Don’t hurt rosie about being in slytherin.” “Of course.” And Harry and Ginny disappeared into the flames. “good night, James” Dumbledore said “Good night Professor.”

Okay so I know that this is way out of hogwarts but it's part of the story (and I've finally got an adventour for them, but its not a fully developed plot...oh well I'll just go with it as it goes along.) Anyways heres chapter 9 of "A Fresh Start Year 1"

“Have you heard from Al?” Lily asked anxiously awaited the first word from Hogwarts, except for the horrible news of Rosie becoming a slytherin. “Not yet.” harry said monotonously, but with a hint of sadness. “JAMES!” she heard her father yelled. “Dad we’ve gotta clear some stuff up.” He said then her mother turned to lily. “This might take some time. Finish your dinner put on pajamas, and go to bed, you can wait up for us but I want to see you in bed when we get home.” “Yes mother.” Lily mumbled then slower then ever finished her dinner, as she watched he parents get swallowed by the green flames.

Tick…Tick…Tick. The knocker on her door hit three times. “Who is it?” She called to the door. No one answered. She went to the door and opened the door. There was no one there…But a lone letter stood on the door mat. “To Harry” She read off the envelope. Feeling rather devious today she slowly opened the letter.

Dear Harry,

It has been nineteen years, and I feel that it is time for us to meet one last time. I want to give you My sincerest apologies. Friday night at the hogshead, bring Ginny if you wish. Send an owl back with your response.

Sitting in bed reading, finally her mother and father came through the door. “what was that about?” she asked. “Oh…our old headmaster just wanted to go over some stuff with us, things that happened 19 years ago.” her father said smiling at her. “Dad…I did a very bad thing.?” She said looking at her had that was clutching the letter from under the sheets. “what’s that dear…” Ginny asked “I read your letter” she said handing the letter to Her father. “Who is he?” Lily asked. “An old…peer” He said giving the letter to Ginny. “Should we go meet him?” Ginny asked “We’ll see” Harry said and left the room “Good night, lily.” “Good night mom.” Before she closed the door lily asked “Is it bad…Is it bad that I opened the letter, is it bad that I opened the door for the complete stranger?” There was a long pause then Ginny said “Did you understand the letter?” Lily shook her head “Then I guess we’ll just have to forget.” Smiled and closed the door…Her parents were so forgiving…She laid her head down and drifted off to sleep.

A man with blonde hair, a woman that looked like his wife, dad, and mom. Were sitting around the table. She woke up. Then looked at her clock. 3:26 in the morning. Then finally realizing what she saw “Thats who Draco is…” She whispered to her self. He was at the train station. But a few minutes later she fell back asleep. And soon she would wake again and it would be like she never had the dream...like she never knew.

Mean while her mother was on the other side of the wall. Leaning against it. ‘lily had to know what the letter was…but she didn’t have to remember.' Putting her wand away, Ginny creaked her bedroom door back open. Harry was waiting up. “Did you do it?” He asked Ginny nodded. “But I don’t understand, why does she have to forget. “She deserves to know who was at our door. But she does not need it to bother her all the time.” She didn’t want to go against Harry, but still knowing was not enough…remembering is her right. “Are you going?” she asked settling down in bed “It depends, I’ll talk to Ron and Hermione in the morning. See what they say.” Turning off the light...But Ginny stayed up looking at the ceiling, waiting...wondering.
