Hey, this is Amanda and I'm back with a new piece of writing. This is Amanda Lesalle's journal and it shows a look into her mind. If you don't know her story, read the story entitled The Story of My Life So Far..
June 28th, 2065
Things really have not improved at all in my life, I still really have no one who cares about me and no one to love. But that, hopefully in time will all change although I really doubt it.
My tutoring with Prefect Trelawney is going okay I suppose, although she does really scare me which makes it difficult for me to focus on what she’s telling me to do. I am really trying hard to impress her although at this point in time she seems pretty irritated with me for some reason.
Lately, I seem to keep having flashbacks of the Christmas morning when I found out that my parents were being taken away to be killed. I still want to get revenge on whoever ordered their death, but right now that will have to wait until I become stronger.
I’m really afraid for my life now, that person who tried to kidnap me when I was 8 is still out there looking for me and once they find me, they’ll kill me. Maybe that’s what is meant to happen to me, maybe I’m meant to die while I’m still in school… only time will truly tell… |

Well, today I was about to get into a duel with a Hufflepuff 3rd year. I'm not afraid of getting hurt because I'll do whatever I can to become the best.
Hopefully next week, I'll impress Prefect Trelawney with my improvement in how fast I can cast spells. With her tutoring, I'm sure to become the best dueller in the school.
So far right now, my future is quite unclear, whether I become a powerful witch or not is not known at this time. But, all I know is that I don't feel quite safe here at Belle's with only myself to defend me... | |

I'm in a lot of pain from the duel I had yesterday with 3rd year Hufflepuff Kayla Winters. I think I might have broken my left arm from falling after cancelling the Levicorpus spell. Hopefully I'll be okay soon enough to head back to the duelling arena and get more practice in before my next tutoring session with Prefect Trelawney.
Well, I've got some friends now, two girls. One is from Gryffindor and other is from Slytherin. They are saving me from having to live back on the muggle streets by inviting me to stay with them over the holidays. | |

Well, I'm still in a bit of pain from the duel I had with Kayla. I mildly broke my left arm but now its fixed and I'm back in the duelling arena teaching my friend Sabrina some of the things that I know about duelling.
I earned my 1st 2 house points for Slytherin yesterday in Charms. That lesson was wicked, it was on Boggarts. I wonder what I'd do if my boggart was of Prefect Trelawney basically telling me that she's wasteing her time tutoring me.. that's a little difficult to turn that into something funny.
I detest the way we have to learn to fly on the brooms. We have to learn to sit on the brooms sideways and fly them that way. But the brooms are so slippery and I wish I could use a proper broom and fly the way I used to when I was younger. | |

Thanks to two brilliant Slytherin students, Headmistress Rae was forced to give us 2000 points! This is definately going to be the year for Slytherin, where we rise up from the ashes and begin a new age of pureblood students.
Hah, all the other houses are basically angry that Slytherin was awarded those points. Come on, Slytherins were not being treated fairly at all, and that's why we deserve every point that was awarded. Despite that I have a friend who's in Gryffindor, I don't feel like what we did was wrong at all.
All the other houses are just like they'd rather lose fairly and walk away with pride than unfairly win and just have a cup. We Slytherins have plenty of pride in our house and this is another excuse for us to have more pride in the great house of Slytherin. | |
