Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Black First Year | Fred and George go to Hogwarts - Sa9+ Hi guys! This is my first Fan Fiction story, hope you like it!
Mrs. Weasley handed Mr. Weasley the floo powder bowl and gave him a peck on the cheek.
“Have a wonderful day sweetie” She said pulling back get a good look at her husband before he stepped up to the living room fireplace, said “The Ministry of Magic!”, watched the red flames turn emerald and stepped inside, vanishing suddenly. Mrs. Weasley sighed and walked back to the kitchen. It was July 30th and her children’s Hogwarts letter had yet to arrive. She had the sudden thought that maybe on the slight chance, Professor Dumbledore had gotten wind of all the mischief her twins, Fred and George had caused in the recent years and decided it was in the best interest of the school to not accept them. She turned around from the entrance of the kitchen at the sound of something tapping the hallway window. She sighed in relief when she saw it was an owl she didn’t recognize. She ceased the window latch and opened the window to let the owl in. He flew over to the clock that told the family where everyone in the family was and what they were doing. she walked over to the clock and looked up at the owl. In its brown beak the owl held four small square letters.
“May i have those letters, please?” Mrs. Weasley asked the brown barn owl. As soon as she spoke, it dropped the letters in her out stretched hands. “Thank you very much.” And with that the owl swooped out the still open hallway window. Mrs. Weasley looked down at the three letter and seeing two of them were addressed to her second youngest sons she let out a sigh of relief. With that she walked back into the kitchen to start cleaning up after Mr. Weasley and to prepare for her children’s breakfast.
While Mrs. Weasley cleaned the kitchen and prepared some bacon, Ron, Ginny, and Percy Weasley all slept on. Fred and George Weasley however had been up before even Mrs. Weasley. The two young boys sat on the floor of their second story shared bedroom. Between them was a small cauldron, splintered wooden spoon and open potions book.
“Where do you reckon we could get some gillyweed?” Fred asked his identical twin. George, whose eyes were on the potions book shrugged but after a moment answered.
“It says here gillyweed can be used in some soups”
Fred’s eyes suddenly had a sparkle in them. “That means mum must keep at least a jar of it somewhere in the cupboards.”
“Very true” George said. His eyes starting to match his brothers. Just then the potion in the cauldron stopped bubbling. Both boys looked at it and then at each other.
“Was that supposed to happen?” Fred asked fear creeping into his voice. George’s eyes scanned Percys old battered potions book. He looked up his eyes wide he opened his mouth to speak but at that exact moment a loud voice boomed through the house “GET UP EVERYONE! GET UP! RON THAT INCLUDES YOU!” Mrs. Weasley always woke them up like that. Soon after her shout, the two boys head foot steps coming up the stairs. It was almost as if they were on the same wave length because at the same moment they both grabbed for things and started hiding them. George grabbed the cauldron and the spoon while Fred grabbed the potion book and a near by deck of cards. George placed the cauldron that still wasn’t bubbling and the wooden spoon, into the closet while Fred slid the book under his bed, since it was closest. They jumped onto Freds bed and had just finished dealing the deck of muggle cards out, when Mrs. Weasley walked in and said “Come down to breakfast boys. Your having pancakes, bacon and waffles!” The boys swapped a glance that meant they would deal with the failure of a potion later after they had eaten breakfast. Mrs. Weasley walked out of the room. She had never understood the twins like she understood the rest of the Weasleys. The boys took off out of the room. They nearly knocked down Ginny who was also on her way down to breakfast “Geez watch it.” she mumbled to them. However they didnt hear a word she said, they were to consumed in hunger to listen to their little sister.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Black First Year | heres the next part. Hope you like it! Dont forget to post comments!
The twins bounded into the kitchen. Fred and George sat down, facing each other, at one end of the long narrow table that was really the only sort of table that would have worked for a family as big as the Weasleys. Along with the five children that lived with Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, they had two more, Bill who worked in Egypt for Gringotts bank and Charlie who was in Romania legally breeding dragons. The two oldest sons visited often there for the borrow had to be always ready for company. As Ginny stumbled in, still in her pajamas, Fred got up and took a plate of sizzling bacon to the table. Ginny didn’t even sit down she just walked over to her mother who was happily cooking the pancakes while the waffles cooked themselves.
“Morning dearie” Mrs. Weasley said kissing Ginny on the top of her head. Ginny mumbled an inaudible response and held out her hand to take the plate of pancakes when her mother had filled it. She walked over to the table and sat down next to Fred. Percy walked in then and took a seat next to George.
“Hello all” Percy said eyeing the waffles Mrs. Weasley was bringing over to the table.
“Well something every exciting came from the owl post today” Mrs. Weasley said sitting at the head of the table.
"A letter from Charlie saying he's skipping his last two years of school and staying in Romania?" Fred asked. Charlie was the second oldest of the Weasley children. He had got to spend the entire summer in Romania with some older friend of his who breed dragons for a living. Tat had always been Charlie's passion, to legally breed dragons.
"Heavens no!" Mrs. Weasley said "I'd about have a heart attack if he wrote saying that!"
There was a pause then “That dragon me and Fred ordered from witch weekly!?” George nearly jumped out of his seat. He settled down when he saw the look on his mothers face.
“George Weasley!” She shrieked “I told you not order anything else that was illegal! Your father still has the magical creatures department at teh ministry on him about those fire crabs you had as pets without anyone knowing. If you want to get a dragon go live with Charlie's friends! Those blokes are always running a muck breeding dragons.” This was always an idea, Fred thought.
“I was only joking mum. Don't get your wand in a knot.” George said trying to calm her down. then in a hushed voice he said “I would send the dragon to Bill. He would make sure we got it without her knowing” Fred chuckled at George’s last remark.
“As I was saying” Mrs. Weasley said smoothing her hair down since it had went everywhere when she began yelling at George “Something very exciting came in the post today!” She slipped a hand in her robes and pulled out three of the four small square letters. Grins spread across the twins and Ginnys face. Percy however was busy drowning his three waffles in syrup. Mrs. Weasley handed out the letter, one to each boy. She would give Charlie's his when he came back later today. Fred and George ripped open their Hogwarts letters. All Percy did was glance at his to make sure it was addressed to him then set it down next to his plate. He would open his later. The excitement of getting a hogwarts letter had worn off, seeing as-though this was Percy’s third year getting them. Fred and George read:
Dear Mr. Weasley,
You have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. Enclosed is a list of the necessary books and equipment for the school year. We await your owl no later then July 31. Term begins September 1.
Sincerely yours,
Minerva McGonagull.
Deputy Headmistress.
“I want one!” Ginny complained loudly.
The young girls remark made Mrs. Weasley giggle “Four more years, sweetie” She leaned over and kissed Ginny on the cheek. Mrs. Weasley looked around, her eyes landing on the entrance to the kitchen. “Where is Ron?” The youngest Weasley boy hadn't been seen since he had walked to the top of the stairs just to show his mother he was up. She stood up and walked to the base of the hallway stairs “Ronald Weasley get down here to eat breakfast!” As she waited for an answer the rest of the family went to where their mother was. They all heard the sudden thumping of small feet on the creaky wooden stairs. There was a flash of flaming orange and then a tall but young boy was shaking behind his mums leg.
Mrs. Weasley bent down and asked softly “What is wrong Ronny?”. All Ron could say was “water. Lots and lots of water” His breathing was heavy and his hand seemed glued to his chest. Then immediately after he had began to regain his normal breathing a loud, noisy rushing sound came from upstairs.
“AHHHH” Ron said, as a tidal wave of water filled the staircase and soon the hallway where the Weasleys were standing. Mrs. Weasley hadn't been fast enough with her wand to block her and her children from getting wet. It seemed as if someone had dumped all the oceans in the world into the Burrow. As the water gushed from the upper level of the house, the Weasleys stood powerless. Mrs. Weasley couldn't stop the water since she didn't know the exact source of the water. Finally after ten straight minutes the water started to slowly stop just finally it was just a small brook running down the staircase. Mrs. Weasley turned to her soaking wet twins, because in the 11 years of raising them she had learned that whenever something went wrong and they were around 99% of the time it was their fault.
“Explain” she said through her teeth since it was all she could manage without screaming so loud the windows shattered and Eral their old barn owl went deaf.
“Well, you see” Fred started
“Its been quite hot lately” George finished
“Also we both figured” Fred motioned that it was a joint effort “A water slid would cool us off on the really hot days”
“So we went and borrow one of Percys old potions books” George glanced at Percy and saw his face fill with anger.
“To see if there was an easy water potion since we figured you wouldn't let us make one in the backyard” Fred said
“See that was fun!” George threw up his hands and waved them around for emphasis “yay!!!” Mrs. Weasley obviously didn't think it was fun at all. Her face got redder if that was even possible then it was before.
“YOU TWO WILL CLEAN THIS UP IMMEDIATELY!” Mrs. Weasley shouted “AND WHEN YOUR DONE YOU CAN DE-NOME THE GARDEN!” She stormed back into the kitchen. A second later a large pile of rags magically floated over to the twins and they started mopping up the soaked floor. By the time they were done Ginny, Percy and Ron were all fully dressed and Ginny and Ron were outside playing a game of exploring snap. Percy had gone up to his room like he did every summer day, only coming down when called for or when it was meal time. Mrs. Weasley would check in on the twin every 30 minutes or so to make sure they were completely on task. Fred stood up and tossed the tenth rag into the growing pile. George followed suit. They had reached the door and were off to de-nome the garden. The boy hummed “whistle while you work” a muggle children’s song they had learned from spying on the village children so many times, as they forcefully pulled ugly, angry looking nome’s out of the ground, spun them around a few times and threw them over the nearby hedge. Ron kept having to duck and quickly run to a new place to stand since every so often one of the twins would feel the urge to toss a nome at him.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Black First Year | Once they had finished Fred, George, Ginny, and Ron walked inside together. It was about lunch time however when they walked into the living room they could smell anything baking in the oven.
“Huh?” Ginny said tilting her head up so she could get a better smell. Normally around this time Mrs. Weasley would have been just about finished baking lunch however when the four of them walked into the kitchen they saw Mrs. Weasley sitting at the table reading the daily prophet. She heard footsteps and looked up.
“Hello loves.” She hadn’t told them yet that she was taking them to Diagon Ally to buy their school supplies. “Go get cleaned up. We’re heading to Diagon Ally when your all changed.” The four children sprinted up the stairs to their rooms. Going to Diagon Ally was considered a treat to them. There was always something new to see and so many people to talk to. The best part was the ride down to their Gringott’s vault. Their family, like most other pureblood families still were, the Weasleys were once very rich and considered very high class. Unfortunately they are now thought of as blood traitors by other pureblood families. It was all because of a great great great great great uncle they had never seen that spent all the family money on trying to start a muggle protection act, however the minister of magic never approved it. Since then the families never been able or really waned to build back up the empire they once had.
Mrs. Weasley went up stairs to tell Percy about going to Diagon Ally. While she was out of the room Fred and George danced around the table resuming the humming they had been doing before while they worked.
“Oh grow up you two” Percy said bitterly when he saw the twins skipping around the table like two five year old girls, arms linked and all.
“Their just excited. Give them a break” Mrs. Weasley gave them a weak smile “We’ll be using floo powder so whenever you’ve got your shoes laced hurry into the living room.” She walked in to the shabby front room and over to the fireplace where she had seen her husband off not 6 hours earlier. She picked up the bowl full of green powder, took a pinch and handed the bowl to Fred who had just walked in followed closely by George, Ron and Percy. Ginny was already in the room before Mrs. Weasley.
“Remember to speak loud and clearly. Wouldn’t want anyone to get lost” She eyed George. The last time he used floo powder, he had ‘accidently’ taken a wrong turn and ended up in Kockturn Ally. It had been almost 2 months ago but Mrs. Weasley still every so often made him travel with her by apperation while everyone else took the floo network.
“What about Charlie? Hows he getting his school supplies?” Ginny asked tugging on her mothers skirt hem.
“He’s meeting us their. He had some other things he wanted to get done in England today so he might be a tad bit late.” Mrs. Weasley explained. “Now whose first? Percy how ‘bout you?”
“Alright.” Percy walked up to the fireplace after taking a rather large pinch of green powder from the bowl he was holding. He tossed the powder into the blazing red flames and watched them turn emerald green. He stepped into the flames and shouted “Diagon Ally!” He spun and then vanished.
“You next Fred.” Mrs. Weasley didn’t bother look at the twins, whenever she tried to tell them apart they alway made it worse by saying they were each other. She saw Fred walk up to the fireplace. She hadn’t even noticed he had taken some floo powder from the bowl she had in her hand. Copying Percy, Fred threw the powder into the red flames turning them green again. He stepped into them and said rather loudly “Diagon Ally!” He, like Percy suddenly vanished after a second of spinning. He spun round and round until he saw Percy standing next to one of the fireplaces. He quickly jumped out of the flames and landed with a small thud next to Percy.
“Come on Ron, go on” Mrs. Weasley lowered the bowl for Ron to get some floo powder. Ron had only used floo powder twice before and one of the times he had ended up in a old muggle’s fireplace. The women nearly had a heart attack.
“O-o-okay” Ron stammered taking some powder.
“Remember get out when you see Fred and Percy” Mrs. Weasley said softly to him.
“Right.” And with that Ron stepped up to the fireplace, like his two brothers before had, threw the small amount of powder into the flames, stepped inside them and shouted “D-diagon Ally!” He spun around and then vanished. Mrs. Weasley sighed.
“Lets go George, you take Ginny” At Mrs. Weasleys words George let out a groan.
“Why do I have to take her, mum?” George complained. “Cant you take her?”
“No, I cant.” Mrs. Weasley said shaking her head. “I’m taking your letters, the money bag and some extra things that Charlie asked me to bring along. I cant fix all that, me and Ginny in the fireplace.”
“Fine, lets go midget” George beckoned for Ginny to come forward. He took some extra powder, more people called for more powder, and walked over to the fire place. He threw the floo powder into the flames and grabbing Ginny’s hand he walked into the fireplace. “Diagon Ally! “ The two swirled around and them vanished like the rest. George looked as fireplace after fireplace zoomed past them. Ginny clung to his leg for dear life. Finally he saw three red heads standing near one of the fireplaces. He quickly jumped out, taking Ginny along with him.
“Oi! Get off!” George shook his leg to get Ginny to let go. He could feel his leg numbing up from her tight little grip.
Mrs. Weasley didn’t hesitate when he sons had cleared the room. She ran about, gathering odds and ends she needed. She shoved them all into a brown tattered hand bag, thats inside had been enlarged by almost five times. Once she had everything she needed and walked over to the mantle where she had placed the floo powder. Taking a pinch she bent down and tossed it into the fire. She stepped inside the fireplace and said, unlike the rest of her family, rather softly but clearly “Diagon Ally.” She spun and vanished from the Burrow. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Black First Year | This is kinda short. Sorry! I'll post more soon though.
Mrs. Wesley jumped out of the fireplace and landed next to Ginny and George who she assumed had just gotten there. They all looked around at where they were. The floo network had spit them out in Flourish and Blots bookstore. Mrs. Wesley walked toward the exit and through the thick crowd of parents, shoppers and students, all shopping. The twins looked at the large white stone building their mother was heading for, Gringotts wizarding bank. They never liked having to talk to the Goblins but it was well worth it because once they had a car and were zooming down into the dark tunnels below even the England underground it seemed like nothing could touch them.
Down and down they flew. Going deeper into the ground. In the distance Fred thought he could hear water almost like a waterfall but he quickly forgot what he had heard as the cart he was in, dropped about ten feet. George who was next to Fred looked just as excited as his twin. Both boys had huge grins across their faces. The cart came to a sudden stop in front of a large brass door. Mrs. Wesley and a heavy set goblin climbed out.
“Key please” was all the goblin said. Mrs. Wesley dug around in her pockets for a moment then pulled out a very small gold key. The goblin took it and stuck it into an invisible hole in the door. Fred and George craned their necks to see where the goblin had stuck the key. Just as they were about to get out of the cart the goblin ran his long pointed finger down the center of the large door and it strange open for him. He stepped aside for Mrs. Wesley to go inside. She took everything that was in the vault. It wasn’t much but it would get the boys everything they needed. Mrs. Wesley was thankful Charlie had gotten his books over in Romania and all he need were new robes. She and the goblin clambered back into the cart and it sped back up the windy path. Back outside on the street, it seemed even more people had crammed into the narrow passage. Mrs. Wesley directed the children to go into a ink and quill shop. It was the least crowded of all the shops. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Black First Year | This should make up for the short one before lol.
“Welcome” Said a tall women with long pin straight black hair as the five Wesley's walked into the old rickety shop where only a few other people stood inside. The store clerk was behind a large wood counter, smiling. She had thick side swept bangs that fell just below her chin. He eyes were dark but very warm and friendly. She had on an apron that was two sizes two big for her and the name tag read joe. Fred nudged George with his right arm to show his, muffling his girlish giggles with his other arm. The tall women looked at the five Wesley children standing there “Hogwarts?” she said tilting her head slightly to the left.
“Yes,” Mrs. Wesley pulled out the four letters and held them up so the women could see. “but only for two.” She indicated the twins stuffing the letters back into the depths of her cloak. The women began to walked around to the front of the counter she stood behind but Mrs. Wesley held up her hand to stop her. “Its all right dearie, i can do it.” The women looked disappointed but Mrs. Wesley hardly noticed she had turned to face Fred and George. “Nothing that can be used for cheating on tests, don’t touch it if you don’t want to buy it, only the things on this list, and before we leave I'm checking your pockets so don’t try to steal anything.” Mrs. Wesley gave the boys a stern look then bent her head so she could look into her pockets. She pulled out two of the three letter and handed one to each of them. They turned on their heels and walked away, grinning with excitement. They heard Mrs. Wesley sigh behind them. The boys had walked over to the quills section of the store. Piled high in two stacks were polished cardboard boxes. Each box with a different pattern and name, phenix feather quill, leaf quill, canary quill, it seemed as though there were no two boxes that held the same type of quill as the next. Fred took a loose one that had fallen to the floor. He opened the box and saw a very fine feather. It’s dark brown, almost black, hairs were neat and orderly, they all pointed in the same direction. He put the lid back on and saw the name on the box, eagle feather quill. He put the quill box next to the two stacks, on top of what looked like a box full of rags. George read out loud “Quill cleaners” He and Fred each picked one up. It was soft like cotton but, George noticed, if you didn’t put any pressure on the soft rag it felt as most like water. He put the rag back not sure what to think of it. He looked at the other displays. There was one for light-up quills and another for quills that could write under water. There was a display for biting quills, and jumping quills, quills that would say what you wrote, quills that made whatever your drew come to life and move around the paper, quills that had storage compartments, and even a quill that could write things in the air. Fred and George looked everywhere they could. Fred noticed that the quick quills seemed to be the only type of quills that sat untouched. George had found a metal box under the rest of the displays. It was closed and had a sign that said in small letters: Quarreling Quills. And then below that in small fine print were the words: Warning! do not open without employe help. George and Fred exchanged glances. They looked and saw their mother looking at rolls of parchment. George quickly took out the screw driver he always carried and went to work in the bolts. Once he had gotten three undone there was a loud tap from the metal box. The sound echoed off the inside of it. Then suddenly a long brilliant red quill poked its tip out of the small gap George had made. A similar quill, the only difference was this on was larger and it was electric blue, poked its tip from the gap. The quills seemed to look at each other before a mouth formed in both their tips and they began, quarreling.
“Look what you did now!” screeched the red quill, it towered over the blue one, however the blue was thicker and more wide.
“Why is it always my fault. Cant it ever be your fault?” The blue quill turned away.
“It’ll be my fault when i do something wrong!” The red quill seemed to like screaming very much, he did it even when yelling wasn’t necessary.
“Well, maybe if you weren't nagging me all the time i would feel that need to make a racket!” The blue quill looked furious. Atleast that what Fred thought it looked like.
“Oh sure, pat nags you a little and that automatically gives you the right to hoot and holler and jump all around!” The red quill wiggled its feathers to help get his point across. “Honestly i wish sometimes you weren’t my box-mate” The blue quills mouth hung open. These word had obviously hurt him.
“I guess....” He began “If you feel that way.” He turned again but this time going back into the box. He returned with a small ink bottle and a miniature top hat. The blue quill used his feathers to place the top hat on his tip and he carefully jumped from the metal box. The air picked him up and he floated soundlessly to the ground.
“Hello boys!” The blue quill addressed the twins for the first time.
“Hi” The boys were still shocked to see two quills speaking and thinking for them selves.
“Good day then” the quill tipped his hat to them and quickly bounced his way across to the front of the room.
“Oh!” The store clerk said seeing the quill walking towards the door. “Gosh, they are always doing that.” she shook her head and pressed her lips together in a tight line. “Boss is going to so mad.” She walked out to the front of the store and glared down at the quill. “If you don’t get back into your box in ten seconds I'm called over the fighting quills”
This threat didn't seem to affect the blue quill because all he said was “Could you be so kind Caroline and open this large door?”
Caroline sighted, bent down and picked up the blue quill. Sensing he wasn’t going anywhere the quill began to shriek as if he was in tremendous pain. Caroline merely turned and walked back to the quill section of the store where she dumped the quill back into the metal box and shoved the red quill down into the box also. She took out a very long dark looking wand from the front pocket of her apron. She pointed the wand at the box then muttered “Oculus Repairo” The box was immediately mended and looked as though George’s screw driver had never taken it apart.
“I always have issues with them.” She said to Fred and George. “They might be Quarreling Quills but does that really mean there cant ever be peace? Every time they fight it seems one has the urge to leave!” She shook her head and walked back to the checkout desk. It took Fred and George about ten seconds before they burst out laughing. The idea of setting those quills loose on Percy or even Charlie was, to them, a very hilarious thought.
Fred decided on a raven feather quill and George took the canary feather quill. These and a few others were the only types of quills their mother could afford. They also got two ink bottles and some pages of new parchment. Mrs. Wesley had almost had a heart attack when they showed her the fighting quills and a bottle of invisible ink they wanted to buy.
“Absolutely not!” Mrs. Wesley cried “I will not spend money on such meaningless things.” She had seized the metal box and bottles from Fred and George.
“we could pay for them!” George exclaimed, holding up a small bag of gold.
“No!” Mrs. Wesley marched out of the store, turning to see that all of her children had followed. Then suddenly she cried out in delight “Charlie!” She rushed up to the tall young man. He wore tattered jeans. Each leg had a large hole in them. His dark purple shirt was just barely still on piece it was so holey that Charlie had put a white under shirt beneath it so that he didn’t feel as exposed. His bright red hair was cropped short. Something all the men in a small group just behind him all had.
“ Hello mother.” He embraced her, tking in her warm natural smell. When they let go, Charlie looked at the rest of the Wesley’s now standing behind Mrs. Wesley. “Hello everyone.” He grinned at Fred and George as he saw a small bottle entitled invisible ink clutched in George’s hand. They both grinned back.
“Dearie what school supplies have you got?” Mrs. Wesley put on hand on Charlies shoulder.
“Everything, mum.” Charlie pointed to a broad looking man standing on the left side of the group, the mans shaved head was bent in a deep conversation with a man on the street. “Andy here paid for everything. He felt it was the least he could do since i helped him hold down that Chinese Dragon a few weeks ago. But thank you for wanting to buy me books and such” The man named Andy looked up and smiled at Mr. Wesley.
“Suck up” Fred whispered to George.
“I was thinking more mommas boy but suck up works too.” At George’s words, Ginny shot a glare at the twins.
“Alright loves lets go.” Mrs. Wesley started walking and when she saw that Charlie and Percy weren’t following her. “What now?” she demanded.
“Well, I thought since i didn’t really need any supplies, i could go with Andy and them over to the country side.” Mrs. Wesley frowned.
“And you?” She asked Percy. He looked down at the ground.
“Iwantedtodomyshoppingonmyown” Percy raced to get the words out. Mrs. Wesley’s frown was replaced by a look of confusion.
“Repeat that please Percy.”
He took a deep breath and said slower then the first time. “I want to do my shopping on my own.” He grimaced at the sight on his mothers disappointment.
“Thats rough” said Fred.
“Yeah, way to make mum feel like dragon poo” George’s face twitched with laughter. As did Fred’s. Their mother gave them a look that could kill.
“Okay, you two are old enough to do the things you want so go ahead.” He hugged and kissed them both “Percy meet us at the Leaky Cauldron when your done.”
“I will” He paused for a moment then turned on his heel and walked off towards the flourish and blots book store.
“And then there were four.” George said dramatically.
“Lets go” Mrs. Wesley says, poorly hiding her sour tone. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Kita Hermione Lewis First Year | Aw! Poor Mrs Weasley! That's so sad on her! Ah well. Charlie and Percy are old enough to do their own shopping. I still felt it for her, though. I loved the way George said, "And then there were four." You've portrayed the twins really well. Can't wait for the next chapter (even though you've just posted this one)! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Black First Year | Sorry it took so long. But here it is!
The rest of the shopping-getting books and robes-went smoothly however when they got to Ollivanders wand shop, Fred and George where so excited they had to be restrained from going to the shop walls and grabbing wands at random.
“Ah, another year, another Wesley.” Mr. Ollivander said in a soft voice.
“Hello Mr. Ollivander.” Mrs. Wesley practically sung holding out her hand for him to shake. “This is Fred and this is George.” Mrs. Wesley pointed to each of the twins.
“Mmmm” Mr. Ollivander said vaguely. He suddenly turned and strode to the very back of the store. He returned after moment holding a unusually small wand. He handed it to George. “8 1/2 inches; willow with unicorn hair”
He walked around to the very front of the store saying “just give it a swish” He climbed a tall latter and reached up to the very top of the high shelves. He came back down holding a medium length wand box, just in time to see George wave the wand around in the air. A large book sitting open on a small table in a corner of the shop fluttered as if a strong wind had blown through the small shop.the book was picked up by this unknown wind and clattered to the ground with a loud thud, several pages flying out of it in scattered directions.
“Not as dramatic as usual but i don’t think thats it.” Olivander passed the wand he was holding to Fred and took the other wand from George. “10 inches; oak with unicorn hair” Fred swished the wand and nothing happened. After a moment there was deafening bang from the back of the store. Mr. Olivander rushed to see what happened. He came back white faced and shaking.
“Just an entire shelf falling down. Nothing to worry about.” Olivander said in far from un-worried voice. And so back and forth he went. All around the store, looking under shelves, in cabniets and drawers. The pile of unsuccesful wands was growing larger and Ron and Ginny were getting restless. Finally Mr. Olivander, feeling conifent he had found one of the twins a wand walked to very back of the store, over the pile of splintered wood and to corner where they couldnt see him. He walked back holding a very tiny box. “Right then how about this” Before Mr. Olivander finished his sentance he suddenly turned walked to a middle shelf and pulled out to almost indentical boxes. He shoved the wand he had previously been holding into the now vacant spot. He walked back to counter and placed the boxes on it. He lifted the lid to reveal very long and narrow wands.
"This ones best for Transfiguration" Mr. Olivander said pointing to the one of the left "15 inches, ash wood with a unicorn hair core" He passed the wand to Fred. He then turned to the second wand.
"Good for nonverbal spells." Mr, Olivander passed the wand to George. "15 inches, mahogany, unicorns hair as well. Both quite good for preforming charms, very springy." Fred didnt feel a difference from this wand to the ones before it, however when he went to wave it around some the destroyed book that layed on the ground torn and beaten suddenly rose up and repaired itself and was placed back onto the table where it lay before.
"Well done!" Mr. Olivander cried out. "You next, you next!" He jestured to George to try out his possible wand. He waved it and Ginny who had been examining the broken bookshelf gasped. The shelf in a matter of seconds had repaired it self. It now shined like it was brand new. George, unlike Fred, felt a warm sensation as his right hand clutched his new wand. "Excellent!" Mr. Olivander wasnt a man of many emotions but he alway loved it when someone got to buy a new wand.
"Cool." The twins said to each other their eyes darting from each others wands to the other ones face and then to their own wand.
"How much for the two wands?" Mrs. Weasley asked pulling out the small sack of money.
"24 galleons" Mr. Ollivander said placing different wands back in their appropiate boxes. Mrs. Weasley frowned and pulled out the amount of money Mr. Ollivander had asked for she laid it on the counter and turned for the door.
"Have a nice day, Mr. Ollivander. See you in two years." Mrs. Weasley said with a small smile and wave.
"Yes see you" Mr. Ollivander was already wandering to the back of his store as he spoke his goodbye. Mrs. Weasley looked to make sure she had the her four children with her.
"Alright, lets go back to the Leaky Cauldron." She turned and bustled down the cobblestone road, Ron and Ginny at her heels. Fred and George trailing a ways behind talking animatedly about the days events.
"Did you see the way his eyes bulged when you knocked down that shelf!?" George said impersonating Mr. Ollivander.
"I know! I'm pretty sure I beat you in there" Fred laughed. He and his brother always had bets going, whether or not Ginny will get in trouble, if Ron can find the shoe they hide in less then five minutes, or even how long it takes Percy to realize they had taken all his 2nd year school books. Most of the time the winner only got a knut or a sickle but every so often they would bet 5 sickles or on the very rarest of occasions, which had yet to happen, a galleon. This time it had been who could do the most damage while getting their wands. Fred had won by a long shot. George handed him a sugar quill and 7 knuts.
"Here" He thrust the money and candy at his brother.
"Why thank you very much!" Fred said in a very poorly done, American accent. "You really shouldnt have" Fred waved his hand.
"Well in that case" George smiled and started to slide the money back into his jean pocket.
"Oi! Kidding!" Fred looked like Mr. Ollivander did when the book shelf had first fallen over. Only without the paleness. "Give me my money!" He ceased George's hand with his left hand and shoved his right into George's pocket. He felt the 7 knuts and the tip of the candy quill. He pulled them all out in one try. He stuffed the quill into his mouth and pocketed the money. He brother didnt look happy in the least. Just as George was about to lung at Fred their mother turned and saw the boys arguing. A few witches had stopped looking at a small owl in a hanging cage outside the magical pet store to watch Fred and George fight.
"Boys!" Mrs. Weasley called. She was a good 20 feet away "We are in public!" The twins let their arms fall from around each others necks and walked slowly to where the rest of their family stood. "I cant believe you! Out getting your hogwart's things and this is how you repay me." She shook her head in disgust and turn away from them. They all walked in silence to the leaky Cauldron, a small bar that seperated the muggle world from Diagon Ally. The Weasleys walked in and Mrs. Weasley pointed them all over to the table at which Percy and Charlie sat drinking hot butterbeer. She went to get their drinks.
"How'd the shopping go?" Charlie said happily.
"Just merry" Said George who was still upset Fred had taken his money.
"Well, take out those new wands of yours" Percy exclaimed. Fred and George both extracted a wand from the back pocket of their jeans. Fred handed his wand to Percy and George handed his to Charlie. The two young men immediatly started firing questions at the twins.
"How long?"
"Whats the core?"
"I bet its good for charms, isnt it?"
"What? Not that thing. Now this one is deffinitly good for chams."
"Oi!" Cried Fred and George, grabbing their new wands back. "If your gonna run us down with questions give us a head start towards the door atleast!" Said George shoving his wand into his back pocket.
"Four butterbeers and a fire whiskey." Mrs. Weasley said setting the drinks down on the small wooden table that totered to one side at the sudden burden of weight.
"Only dad drinks firewhiskey, mum" Percy observed.
"Well when you've had as stress filled day as I've had you'll want a nice tall glass of firewhiskey to." And with that she picked up the large glass filled with smoking red liquid and took a long gulp. "Thats it" She set the cup down along with her self. Charlie had drawn up enough chairs for all of them. They sat in silence while everyone drank. |

When the glasses had been emptied and stomachs had been filled with butterbeer and sweets Charlie had brought back from the country side, Mrs. Weasley stood up and arched her back. "Well loves this had been…....one of the more interesting Hogwarts shopping trips but unfortunately it has to end."
"Honestly mum! You talk like it really does have to end." Said George looking up at his mother.
"I was thinking we could sleep on the book stacks in Flourish and Blotts" Said Fred
"Oh no, that'd be much to uncomfortable" George said dismissively "Knockturn Ally is the place to go for a good nights rest."
"Ah dear brother!" Cried Fred "How foolish of me your right! I hear the rats make excellent pillows and the cobwebs are divine blankets."
"Enough you two" Mrs. Weasley glared at them. "You need to become more like Percy if you want to succeed when you go to Hogwarts in a few days."
"I don't know where you get these foolish ideas mother!" Fred gave her a look of absolute shock and distaste.
"Really." Replied George, wearing a similar expression as Fred "Almost as foolish as Fred suggesting we sleep in a book store!"
"Alright, alrght." Mrs. Weasley said picking up her shopping bags "Enough. Its time to go. You can come back next summer or over the holidays." The twins, and the rest of the children seemed to understand she was serious this time. At Mrs. Weasley's words they all started to get up, scrambling to grab a bag or bottle. Mrs. Weasley, not wanting to pay for floo powder, apperated all the children, with the help of Charlie, back to the Burrow.
Once Charlie had returned from apperating Ron from the leaky cauldron everyone set off in a different direction. Percy to his room, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley to the kitchen to get dinner started and Fred, George, Ron and Charlie out to the small shed to get their broom sticks. Once each of the four boys had grabbed a broom they started on their short trek to the hill top. It was the only safe play to fly since none of the muggle people in the village a few miles from the Burrow could see that high up.
Charlie opened up the battered old bag that held the fake quiddatch balls, letting the bludgers, solid jet black balls, go off on their own and tossing the quaffle, a large red ball, up to Ron, who was wobbling around the air five feet above. There was no snitch so the boys ended the game only when they noticed their mother ambling up the steep slope calling to them.
That night at dinner Fred and George did most of the talking. They rambled on and on about what they had seen and gotten at Diagon Ally, filling in their father, Mr. Weasley, so that he had as good a visual as anyone else at the table. The rest of the summer, a whole 24 hours, flew by quickly. The next day the Weasley children, all but Ron and Ginny, spent the entire day packing for Hogwarts. Percy being the most organized and efficient was done by lunch time having started at six in the morning. Charlie however kept having to be told to stop reading and pack and the twins were just so unorganized they had managed to loss half their books and almost all their robes. A large portion of their day was spent looking for their supplies and finally by the end of lunch, which they had been forced to skip, they had all the belongings and could officially start packing. Just as they were opening their hand-me-down trunks their mothers voice echoed from down stairs "Fred! George! If I come up there and you two haven't begun packing….!" Her voice trailed off.
Fred rolled his eyes an d walked to the top of the stair case. "Don't get your wand in a knot mum, we're starting right now." And with that he walked back into his room and began grabbing odds and ends from his enormous pile of school supplies. George following his example.
By dinner time that night the twins were packed. George had to have Ron and Fred sit on the top of his trunk to get it closed. Fred only had to have Ginny and Ron sit on his for him to close it. The boys went to bed early that night, however they didn't fall asleep until midnight. They stayed up talking about the wonders of Hogwarts and Hogsmead, the nearby all wizard village.
"I hear that there's a giant lake and in it is a 50 ton squid!" Whispered Fred
"Well, Charlie told me if you sent to the headmasters office he had little old men hiding under his desk who he has you try to catch." George whispered back "And if you do catch one he lets you off without punishment!" Both the boys were silent for a moment then in said "Nets." They hopped out of bed and scampered quietly to their closet. Returning after a moment with two very large steel handled nets. They slipped them into the carryon bags they would be taking onto the train the next day.
"Uh oh I can hear mum moving!" Said George. They both ran back to their beds and hopped in. The shut their eyes in false sleep however they were so tired the fake sleep soon became real and they dreamt of giant squids and small old men until their mother woke them up singing the Hogwarts school song to a fast upbeat melody.
When she had finished she sang "Good morning boys!" Her face was wide with a smile and she looked as if she had been crying a bit. They mumbled an inaudible response. Mrs. Weasley satisfied started for the door, pointing her wand over she shoulder and causing the blankets on the beds to be pulled of the twins. They both jumped up in surprise yelling. "If you were up and about like Charlie and Percy, I wouldn't have to do that" She gave them a smile and walked out.
"The women" George said shaking his head at the now closed door. Fred just nodded. They dressed in the jeans and t-shirts that day. Their wands in the back pocket of their pants. Walking to breakfast that morning they could smell the bacon frying and the biscuits cooling. They took seats but was forced back up when Mrs. Weasley handed them each a biscuit stuffed full with bacon, egg and cheese.
"No time to sit and eat, loves" Mrs. Weasley said as she ran over to the back door and grabbed her shoes. "We're late as it is." She waved her wand she four trunks soared over the stair case and into the kitchen.
"Now why haven't you ever done that with us?" demanded Fred
"Not now" Mrs. Weasley glared at her son. "Go put those by the front door." Fred walked over to the trunks, Charlie now trailing behind him. He could hear his mother still in the kitchen
"Percy, dear, go wake Ron and Ginny. Explain why we aren't here and only their father is. Hurry up now!" A second later they saw Percy trotting up the steps.
"You grab George and yours" Charlie pointed to two of the trunks "And I'll get mine and Percy's"
"Alright," Fred said. The two siblings heaved the trunks to the door one by one. When they were finished Mrs, Weasley, Mr.Weasley, Percy, and George were all standing in the living room
"We'll be apperating" Mrs. Weasley explained "No time for nonesense floo powder"
"It was an accident! Geez woman!" Cried George, thinking she was referring to the Knockturn Ally incident.
"Hush up" Mrs. Weasley waved a hand at him. George rolled his eyes at her. "Fred and George with me. Percy and Charlie with your father." Everyone got into position to apperate. Fred and George each grasped one of their mothers arms. Percy and Charlie did the same to Mr. Weasley. Both parents turned on the spot and in the next instent they were gone with a pop.
There was a ringing in everyones ears as they landed smoothly in an empty alleyway.
"Must be off" Mr. Weasley said kissing Mrs. Weasley on the cheek. "Good luck boys. See you at Christmas." He hugged each of them once then turned on the spot and disaperated back home to watch Ron and Ginny until Mrs. Weasley had seen the boys off.
"Well come on!" Mrs. Weasley began to walk out of the alleyway and into the bustling city human traffic. She turned the corner at the entrance to the alleyway and walked a few feet before turning again to enter a large crowded room in a tall building. The twins looked around. There were announcement boards with departures and arrivals, and times under the names of places, high glass walls which had people sitting at counters behind them selling train tickets. People walking and running to catch their trains. Other people talking as they walked, some even sitting and reading or talking. The boys didn't have much time to look as their mother was jogging toward the platforms 9 and 10. "Oh dear! Its already 10:45." George saw Percy appear with four carts for the trunks they each had. He rolled a cart to each of the boys. They set their trunks on the trolleys and waited for further instruction.
"Now, Fred, George, you want to run at that wall" Mrs. Weasley pointed to the wall in front of them "don't stop and don't jerk around. Best to act like its floo powder and keep your elbows in to.
"Now, Percy, you first go on." She turned from the twins to watch Percy begin to run and just as he was about to hit the wall of platform 10, he vanished. "Charlie" She motioned with her hand. Charlie, unlike Percy had done, walked up to the stonewall and look around for a brief second then leaned against the wall and vanished to. "Alright, you next Fred". Fred winked at George as he ran towards the barrier. The second before he hit the wall he threw a dungbomb, that had been ridged to shriek rather then smell, against the floor and vanished. Mrs. Weasley yelled some nasty words at the spot he son had been however one could hear over the shrieking. George ran towards the wall closely followed by Mrs. Weasley.
"For heavens sake!" She cried when she saw the twins high-fiveing. "Can you two please be serious for one minute?!" Her face was red with anger. "It is already 10:55 you need to get on that train in an orderly fashion." She pointed now for the first time a large scarlet train, that had dark grey smoke coming out of it.
"We will, we will" Fred said still smiling. The children each gave their mother, much against Fred and Georges want, a kiss and hug. Then the four of them jammed into the small train corridor and set off in different directions. Just as Fred closed the door to a full compartment, the train began to move. George balancing on the balls of his feet to see inside the compartment feel backwards and into something hard and groaning.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Layla Amorina First Year | Great post! I noticed you were having some trouble with spelling, the correct spelling is platform. LOL. Once again, the characters were portrayed perfectly, just pay a little more attention to detail. Like in the quidditch part, the way you described the balls was confusing. Make sure you put it in Word first and copy and paste so common mistakes will be avoided. PAMS!! |

I edited my last post and all the spelling/grammar errors should be fixed. I 'll keep a better look out next time for them It's not so much the grammar (thanks for editing anyway ), it's paying attention to detail and making sure the story is clear. |
