Sabrina and Reese dragged Derek to the sofa in the common room and gave him some ice for his head.

"Sorry,"Reese said to Derek."I didn't think you were going to really run into it.I thought you would have dodged it like Jeremy and Dustin did."She smiled.

Sabrina smirked."It was a very funny sight to see you run right into the tree."

Reese looked at Sabrina."It was."She looked back at Derke."But anyways,no matter how stupid you are,Derek.We all still love you."

"I still love you three,too,"Derek said.He sat up from the sofa and put the ice on his head."I'm dizzy."

"Atleast your not unconcious,"Alex said."That would be very bad."

"I wouldn't forgive myself if Derek did go unconcious,"Reese said.

"So,"Derek said."If I go unconcious right now,you would be very upset for the whole term?"He raised his eyebrows.

Reese looked at Derek."Maybe."She smiled.

Derek shook his head."Maybe I will go unconcious."

Reese got up from the sofa."Well,you can go unconcious.I'm going to bed."She gave Derek a hug and looked at Sabrina."Don't let him do anything to hurt himself."

"I'll keep an eye on him,"Sabrina said.She gave Reese a hug."Good-night."

"Good-night,"Reese said.She looked at Alex."See you in the morning,Alex."

Alex smiled."See you in the morning."

Reese walked up to the girls dormitory and went to bed.

Reese woke up the next morning and walked over to the wondow.The sky was dark and cloudless.She was about to get dressed when she saw a figure appear in the sky.No...it couldn't be...a dementor?She threw her robe on and ran down to the Great Hall.She saw Alex,Derek,Jeremy,Dustin,and Sabrina reading the Daily Prophet."Guys?What's wrong?"

Derek looked up."Remember Draco Malfoy?"

"He's the one who killed Sabrina's Uncle,"Reese said."What about him?"

"He escaped from Askaban,"Sabrina said.

Reese almost fell over,but Derek caught her."Thanks,"she muttered to Derek.She looked back at Sabrina."And they think he will..."She stopped.

"Come to Hogwarts?Yes,"Sabrina said."Why do you think the Dementors were outside?"

"What's he after?"Reese asked.

"Don't know,"Sabrina said."But whatever it is,it's powerful."

"Powerful?"Reese said."There was nothing as powerful as Dumbledore,but he's dead now."She sat down next to Sabrina and took a drink of her pumpkin juice.

Derek took the paper from Sabrina and scanned ht e article."This gives us nothing."He crumbled up the paper and thrw it on the ground.

"I was reading that,"Sabrina said.

"Too bad,"Derek said.

"Well,"Dustin interrupted,"I'm going to go get something to eat at my table.I'll talk to you guys later."he gave them a smile and walked to the HufflePuff table.

"Let's just forget about it,"Jeremy said."If he comes to Hogwarts..."He stopped at Reese began to talk.

"If he comes?"Reese said."He is coming."

"How do you know that?"Jeremy said.

"Because..."Reese said.She looked at her friends and shook her head."I really didn't want to tell you this,but I had a dream a while ago.And my brother said that something bad was going to happen and to be careful."She looked at her plate."I don't know who Draco is after,but he's after somebody."

"Who?How do you know he's not after an object?"Derek said.

"Because Ryan said for us to be careful,"Reese said.

"Maybe Ryan meant for us to be careful and not get involved with Ministry business,"Alex said.

"Why don't you four just shut up,"Reese said."I know what Ryan meant and I think I know who he is after."

"Who?"Derek said.

"I'll tell you later when I know for sure,"Reese said."Let's just eat now."She looked at the table where food was starting to appear.

Derek looked at Sabrina."What class do you have?"

"Herbology,"Sabrina muttered.

"Does anybody have Divination with me?"Derek said.

Jeremy shook his head."I have Transfiguration."

"That's what I have,too,"Dustin said.He walked over to Jeremy."Let's get going."

Jeremy nodded and stood up from the table.He walked over to Reese and gave her a kiss."I'll talk to you later."

"Okay,"Reese said.She watched Jeremy walk off and turned back to Derek."Have fun at Divination."

Derek rolled his eyes."I'll try."He drank his last sip of Pumpkin Juice and got up from the table and walked off.

Sabrina stood up from the table and gave Alex and Reese a hug."I'll talk to you guys later."She smiled and ran off after Derek.

Reese made sure nobody was listening and looked at Alex."We need to talk."

"About what?"Alex said.

"What's with you this year?"Reese said."All of sudden, it feels like your mad at me."

"Mad?"Alex said."I'm not mad."

"Then whats with the meaness?"Reese said.

"I'm still trying to get over my mother,"Alex said."And I'm just..."She stopped and looked down at the plate."I'm sorry."

"Grief comes in many different ways,"Reese said.

Alex nodded."I'm sorry that I was taking it out on you,"Alex said.

"It's okay,"Reese told her.She gave Alex a hug."Now,this is what I really had to tell you."

Alex looked back up at Reese.

"Did you know that Sabrina has to be the Headmistress after she gets done with school?"Reese said.

"No,"Alex said."How can she be the Headmistress?"

"Her Uncle left a will saying that she needs to be the Headmistress after she completes school,"Reese said.

"What are you getting to?"Alex said.

"Draco is after Sabrina,"Reese said."She's going to be the next greatest witch."

"Your silly,"Alex said.

"Draco wants You-Know-Who to be the HeadMaster,"Reese said."But Sabrina will be in the way..."She stopped and looked at Alex.

"I get what your saying,"Alex said."But how will we protect Sabrina?"

"I don't know,"Reese said.She looked at the big clock on the wall."We'll talk about this later.We got to get to class."Reese took hold of Alex's arm and ran out of the Great Hall.

Reese and Alex walked into the Potions classroom and took a seat in the back.She pulled out her Potions book and sat it on the table.She took out her quill and ink and put it beside the book.

Alex sat all her things on her desk and then looked at Reese."Try not to get detention today.We need to hit the library after class."

"Library?"Reese said."I didn't know you could read."She smiled.

"Very funny,"Alex said.

Professor Nimble got up from his desk and walked over to the front of the class."Good morning,"he muttered.

"Good morning,"the class said.

"Today we are going to learn how to create a simlpe potion that will help cure boils,"Professor Nimble said."The ingridients you need are on the black board behind me."He walked to the side of the board to reveal words written in white:
"Remember students,add the porcupine quills after taking the cauldron off the burner,"Professor Nimble said."If you don't take the cauldron off the burner before you add the quills,the cauldron will melt.So be careful."He looked at the class to make sure nobody's hand was up."You may get started.All the ingridients are in the closet."He smiled and walked back to his desk.

"I'll get the ingridients,"Reese said.She stood up form her chair and walked over to the closet.She pulled out all she needed and walked back to the table."Here."She put the stuff on the table.

Alex looked at the lables and found the dried nettles.She opened the glass container and poured some in the cauldron."Hand me the fangs."Reese gave Alex some fangs and Alex dropped them in the cauldron."Hand me the spoon."

"Ummm...spoon?"Reese said."We don't have a spoon."She looked all over the table.No spoon.

"I have an extra one in my bag,"Alex said.

"You keep a spoon in your bag?"Reese said.

"Just in case I need it,"Alex said.

Reese pulled the spoon out of Alex's bag and handed it to her.

"Now hand me the slugs,"Alex said.She started to stir the potion.Reese handed Alex to slugs and watched her put them in the cauldron.Alex started to take the cauldron off the burner,but heard somethign hit the potion.She looked inside and saw the quills sinking into the potion."Reese?!"

"What?"Reese said.She looked at Alex.

"We were suppose to take the potion off the burner before we add the quills,"Alex said.

"Opps,"Reese said.

"You weren't paying attention to Professor Nimble were you?"Alex said.

"Nope,"Reese told her.

Green smoke started to rise from the cauldron and then...the cauldron melted.The potion got all over Alex and Reese.Professor Nimble walked over to Reese and Alex's table."Do you ever pay attention to the instructions,girls?"

"Sorry,Professor,"Alex said.She got up from her seat."It was a accidient."

"Leave the classroom,"Professor Nimble said.

"What?"Reese said.

"Miss Northway,this is the third time you've made a mess in this classroom,"Professor Nimble said."Now I suggest you leave or I will show you the way to Headmistress Haye."

Reese nodded and went out of the classroom and waited for Alex.Alex grabbed her bag and went after Reese."Look what you did,"she said.She shook her head."Sabrina wont believe this one."She laughed.
