She made it to her room and dressed rather in a haste. Today was the first Quidditch game of the season and Olivia wanted to be there to support Harry, even if he was still a little made at her. She wrapped her Gryffindor scarf around her neck and the banner she had made for the team and dashed out of the room. It seemed she was running late as the common room was empty by the time she flew out the portrait hole.

She cued up at the doors leading down to the pitch. She saw Hermione and then she saw Draco. He looked at her expectedly, she gave Hermione a look and Hermione gave her a nod and disappeared out the door. Draco walked over to Olivia and gently took her small brown hand into his pale alabaster hand. She heard a few gasps behind her as they walked to the pitch. Her heart started racing as she wondered if he was going to pull her toward where the Slytherins mostly sat.

"Where do you want to sit?" He asked. he was making every effort to help Olivia through this, he had gotten a nice talking to from members of his own house for falling for Olivia.

"Can we sit with my house?" She asked him with a small smile on her face. He nodded twice and pulled her toward the lower part of the stand where most of the Gryffindors were sitting. Many of the turned and openly stared as the couple sat down beside Hermione and Lavender Brown. Draco seemed to blush as everyone turned around to watch the teams enter the stadium. "Hey Lavender." Olivia said holding tight to Draco's hand.

"Hey Liv." She said and then added. "Hello Draco." Although her voice took on a cool tone, not totally unfriendly but it came across that she didn't approve of where he choose to sit. They both smiled at her. Madame Hooch blew her whistle and the teams came streaking out of the locker rooms. Gryffindor and Slytherin were playing. She was looking for Harry and he was the last out of the locker room.

"Oi. What is Malfoy doing here?" Came Ron's voice as he was finishing the last of his breakfast and settling down on the other side of Hermione. Hermione turned and gave him a hard look.

"Draco is here with Olivia to watch the game," She explained slowly as if she were talking to a 4 year old. Ron looked from Draco's face to Olivia's face. His own face turning red. Hermione jabbed him sharply in the ribs with her elbows. Her turned to say something to her and the look she gave him caused his confidence to crumble. He threw one last look at Draco and then yanked himself around to watch the match. Olivia's face fell at Ron's reaction. Draco squeezed her hand and stroked the back of her hand with his thumb.

Short, but I still loved it! And I'm glad that Olivia got Draco to sit with Gryffindor. =]

even if it ws short it was still great, Draco was nice to sit in with the Gryffindor when he could of easily sat with his own house

She didn't think Harry and Ron would act this way toward someone that she wanted to be with. She had never in her whole life know what it was like to have someone care for her. In the group home she always hid to fight for anything and she always had to fight to keep the few things in life that she had acquired and even then she wasn't always successful. Now she had a uncle who she thought was more of a father than she could have ever imagined and then she had Harry who she thought of as her brother. He helped her pick out her own broom and even taught her a few things. Then Ron protected her as savagely as he did his own sister. Hermione had sat down with her and explained every magical thing the could in the months prior to the term starting. She finally had a family and it almost made her heart burst open from happiness. She never allowed herself to have that sort of hope in the group home where she had to often eat out of the garbage cans to get a decent meal.

She was brought out of her ravine by a loud cheer from the stands as Angelina scored the first goal of the game. Ron and Hermione jumped up and cheered. Olivia followed suit. Draco remained seated but held onto her hand. She sat back down and looked at him. "Is that what you really want to do?" She asked him point blank.

He looked at her. he had never felt this way about any girl. Even though his mother had made him go to more stupid balls and introduced him to every single stinking available pureblood girl in Europe she could have found. None of them had the kind of effect on him as Olivia did when he saw her that day on the train. It felt like his heart was beating twice its normal speed and that the world turned upside down and shaken around. He couldn't eat or sleep till he knew how she felt about him. "I never wanted anything more in my life than you." He said looking into her her deep brown eyes. "Do you want to do this. I don't think Weasley or Potter is going to forgive me, but I would hate myself if they hurt you because of me." He told her. Something in Malfoy had changed that day on the train when he saw Olivia's face for the first time. It felt like like life was wonderful for him again. He didn't even feel like he wanted to pick on anyone anymore. He stopped to see how picking on people hurt their feelings, when he saw some of his fellow house mates picking on Olivia and the look on hurt on her face tore his heart into little pieces. He sat in his dorm room that rest of the day and thought about his life and how he had been spending it. Who had he been living it for? Was his life his own? He he ever done one thing in his life that he wanted to do? He couldn't think of anything. He always did what his parents wanted him to do. He hated people just on the fact that his father did. He believed in the purity of magic just because his father did. Sometimes he would catch his mother looking at a old picture of her sister Andromeda and she would be crying. His aunt had married a muggle and was therefore cut off from the family, but clearly his mother still loved her, and he didn't like to see his mother crying. How could something be good if it caused so much pain?

ooh, i loved it! Draco is finally seeing all the pain he caused people. and Olivia is as happy as ever! fantastic!

He was brought back to reality by a loud boo issuing from the Gryffindor side as Marcus Flint nudged Katie Bell in the back of the head with his broom. She was issued a penalty shot which she made. Draco found himself clapping along with Olivia and the other Gryffindors. "Hi Draco." someone called causing him to turn. It was one of those Patil twins he could never tell them apart.

"Hi." He answered back with a slight wave of his hand. It made him smile that someone was being nice to him for no reason other than being nice. And she was a person that he had never gone out of his way to speak to. Neither Patil have he ever spoken to except in their first year he had teased Parvatti when she stood up for Neville. He turned around to look at her properly. "Are you Parvatti?" He asked her.

She blushed and nodded her head. "Yes my sister is in Ravenclaw." She said pointing to her twin over in the sea of blue and grey.

Draco took a deep breathe. "I'm not sure if you remember our first flying lesson where I poked fun at you for sticking up for Longbottom." He said slowly hoping he had the courage to do what he now felt in his heart was the right thing for him to do if he was going to be with someone as good and pure as Olivia was.

She looked at him oddly. She did in fact remember that but she had no idea of where he was going with his questions. She put up her guard in case he came back with a nasty remark. "Yes I recall." She said trying to keep the ice out of her voice.

He took another deep breath and looked at her full in the face. He had seen people apologizing to him and he knew that they always thought they were more believable if they looked him in the eye. His extensive training at Occumencly let him know when someone was being truthful with him. "Well I was inexcusably rude to you and you didn't deserve to be spoken to that way. I know no words can erase what I did, but I am going to say that I am sorry. Parvatti I am honestly sorry for that." He told her as his face was bright red after the ordeal. Everyone was stunned no one was even looking at the game and even Lee Jordan was too busy with what Draco was doing to commentate on the match above. Draco swallowed hard as he felt everyone's ones on him

Parvatti was too stunned to even blinked. Had Draco Malfoy just apologized to her? She finally regained control of her limbs and her eyes blinked. She relaxed a bit as she saw that we he was being serious right now and that everyone was staring at the both of them. "Thank you Draco." She said finally. "I accept your apology." She said firmly. Everyone's head snapped around to see Draco's reaction. He smiled at her and nodded in thanks. Ron's mouth was hanging open so far that that Hermione reached over and closed it for him

"Told you he could change," She whispered to him as everyone's attention went back to the game. Gryffindor was up 120 points by now and the crowd was on its feet. Harry was going into a spectacular dive and Slytherin's seeker was a hair behind Harry and no chance of catching up. Harry's hand closed around the snitch and the cheers exploded. Draco grabbed a hold of Olivia and swung her around as Hermione rained down gold and red streamers on the happy lions in the stands. Harry circled the the pitch in a triumphant round.

Olivia waved at Harry and her heart melted when he waved back at her. He turned his broom around and landed in the strands. People scattered to give him room to land safely. He face darkened when he saw Draco holding Olivia, but he forced his face to relax as he approached her. He still held onto the fluttered snitch in his hand. He walked over to them.

He kept his eyes on Olivia and her smiling face. "I want to give this to you. This is the first game where I've had my family watching me." He said softly as he dropped the snitch in Olivia's outstretched hand. Olivia blinked the tears out of her eyes and she let go of Draco and threw her arms around Harry's neck as he bent down to scoop her up. "You are my sister." he said into her hair as he felt her tears on his neck and his cheek.

"Oh Harry you are my brother. This is the nicest thing you have done for me." She said trying not to chock on her words. He sat her down and she gave him one last hug.

Harry and Draco stood looking at each other while everyone looked between them wondering what was going to happen now.

Draco good on you for apoloizing, ah harry that was so sweet of you to give the snitch to Olivia, great post, like lillypotter said it was worht the wait

They stood there looking at each other and everyone else was holding their breath waiting for the dragon dung to hit the fan. It seemed like time had stopped and no one making a move. Finally Draco took a step forward and everyone else did in case a fight was about to break out. But he extended his hand toward Harry. "I know its too late for a first impression and I can erase the things I did these past two years, but I want us to be friends." He reached back and grabbed Olivia's hand with his other hand. "I want to be with her and she is your sister." Olivia smiled at both of them and hoped Harry would take Draco's hand. "And I am sorry. For everything." he told Harry.

Harry looked down at Draco's hand and then up at Olivia's hopefully eyes. He was torn between his love for her and his hatred of Draco. What sort of person would he be if he didn't forgive people? He didn't want to be that person. He took Draco;s hand and he gave it a strong pump. "I'm sorry too Draco." he told him. Olivia stood between her men and looked at them both.

"I love both of you." She said pulling them into a big hug. If you told her a year ago she was a witch and would turn out to have a uncle and then friends she would call you liar and kick you in the shins. She almost couldn't believe it and she still had to pinch herself to make sure she wasn't daydreaming.

Hermione looked about ready to faint. "Oh you guys." She said snatching them all up in a big hug. Everyone broke apart. "Well I think there is a party going on in the common room that we are missing." she informed them as the gathered up her blanket. "We better go before Fred and George start in on Percy." They all had a laugh and headed off toward the castle.

Olivia hung back with Draco since he couldn't go with her into the common room. She waited till the others were totally out of ear shot. "That was really nice what you did with Harry. They all told me some of the things you all did to each other." She said softly.

He looked at her and pulled her hand so that she would stop walking. "I did it for you." he said. She smiled at him. "If I was going to be with you i had to go all in with you." He explained. "My family isn't going to like this one bit."

"Yes I know about your family. Sirius told me." She didn't understand the whole blood status thing but she understood people looking down their noses at other people. She got that in school a lot because she lived in a group home. She didn't know what it was to have a family. She didn't even know that she had a father till she met Sirius and he told her that she had a father. she never met her mother and Sirius didn't know who she was. Only her father had know and he hid her mother from his family for fear of what they would do to her.

"You never told me anything about your family." he said suddenly. he felt bad that he never once asked her about herself.

"Well lets get inside before we catch and cold and I will tell you." She told him as they finished walking into the castle.
