She ran all the way to the Great Hall Harry and Ron should be there, they had a free period, and Ron was always stuffing something into his mouth if he had a free moment. She made it to the Great Hall and she was out of breath, she walked over to the Gryffindor table scanning it for that messy jet black hair. She spotted Harry and Ron at the other end of the table. She walked over and thumped Harry on the head. He turned around ready to growl at whoever touched him. His face broke into a smile when he spotted Olivia. “What was that for?” He asked putting a forkful of mashed potatoes into his mouth.

Olivia sat down and reached for an apple. “Guess what.” She said almost too excited to contain herself.

Harry was horrible at guessing games and didn’t like playing them all that much. “I don’t know what?” he smirked.

“Professor McGonagall is moving me up to third year.” She said barely containing her glee. Ron looked up for his full plate of food and a copy of the Daily Prophet’s sports page. Harry did a double take.

“Seriously?” he questioned.

“Yes!” She screamed. Everyone looked over at the Gryffindor table, she gave them a apologetic look and quieted down.

“That is great,” Harry said leaning over and giving her a big hug.
Ron got a big grin on his face. He reached into his bag and pulled hi potions book out of his bag and slid it across the table toward Olivia. “Now you and Hermione can help with my homework.” He said and they all laughed. Olivia reached over for some honey to spread on her apple when her bracelet caught Harry’s eye.

“Did Sirius send that to you?” He asked. It was really pretty, but when he looked at it closer he could see it was a snake. Sisius would never buy anything with or about a snake, but then again it looked really old and it could be a family heirloom. No, Sirius had thrown all that stuff out. Harry grabbed Olivia’s arm to get a better look at it. “Who gave this to you?” He asked a little more forcefully.

Snakes! Why did it have to be snakes?

Olivia looked up at him sharply, he was hurting her arm. “No Sirius didn’t give this to me.” She said trying to pull her arm back. “Draco gave it to me.” She whispered and Harry released her arm with a look of shock and betrayal on his face.

“D-Draco Malfoy?” He asked not sure if he heard her right. Olivia a girl who was everything he considered a sister is and should be. He blinked at her and then at the bracelet on her arm. She had accepted a gift from the one boy who Harry considered his worst enemy. Well other than the Dark Lord himself. He looked over at the Slytherin table where Malfoy was watching the whole exchange. His face was clouded over with rage as he watched Harry grab Olivia. Harry stared at him for a minute. He turned back to Olivia “I’ve got to go to class.” He said curtly standing up and snatching his books and bags and practically racing out of the Great Hall. Ron didn’t even have time to swallow and run after him before Harry was gone. Olivia had to blink back the tears that were welling up in her eyes.

She slowly packed up her things and raced toward the common room. She couldn’t face him right now. The look in his eyes hurt more than any other feeling she had experienced when she was living in Texas, and she had been hurt a lot in her previous life. She burst into her room and flung herself on her bed and buried her head in her pillow to silently cry. She didn’t know she had fallen asleep or even that it was nighttime till she heard her new roommates coming in. Hermione walked over to her and sat on the bed and gently touched her back brining her back to reality.

“Does he hate me?” She chocked out, her face streaked with dried tears.

“No he is just hurt by it.” She said laying down to face Olivia. Hermione had been hanging out with two boys for 3 years and it was nice to finally get close to a girl she could share emotional things with. “Him and Draco have hated each other even before we got sorted our first year.” She tried to explain even though she knew that Olivia had heard the story a hundred times over the summer. “He just needs time. You deserve to be happy Olivia, he knows that. If Draco makes you happy then go for it.” She pushed her bushy hair out of her eyes so she could smile properly at Olivia. Olivia smiled back at her and reached over to hug her. They giggled and went on to talk about more pleasant things till Hermione got sleep and went over to her own bed to fall asleep.

Olivia looked outside and saw that the moon was riding high. She looked around the room to make sure everyone was asleep and she slowly crept out of the room and headed toward Harry's room. She pushed open the door and tip toed inside. Harry was sound asleep with his curtains drawn around his bed. She slipped in between then and climbed into his bed. She laid down beside him wrapping his arm around her.

"I'm still not speaking to you." He said groggily as he opened his eyes. She looked at him, her brown eyes pleading with him to understand. He pulled her closer to him, and pushed her head down on the pillow. "Lets argue in the morning about it. After I've had breakfast." He said smirking. Olivia nodded at him and snuggled in to go to sleep. She still didn't want to sleep alone. Alone was when the memories or her previous life came back and she didn't want to remember any of that ever again. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"Get up you two," Ron said kicking the bed waking them both with a start. Olivia lifted her head and blinked slowly a few times to wake up properly. "You better get a flaming move on." He told her as he grabbed his toiletries and headed off to the bathroom.

"Ok," She said untangling herself from Harry's arms and his bed sheet. "Bye Harry." She said pointedly. He waved at her half heartedly. Her face fell as she made her way to the bathrooms to shower and change for her new set of classes in the third year.

YAY. that was cute. he's still mad at her, but let er sleep with him.
