Well done!!! This is great! a really good story. i love olivia as a character. she's real deep. What is this? Regalus has a daughter? How come I never knew that?? Being his wife and everything! Interesting! Dear Sirius is no longer alone. My dear brother-in-law. How nice. Now, now, Dara play nice. Sirius deserves someone to keep him company. Think of what he's been through! Yeah Dara. not nice. Poor Sirius. I love Olivia. She's great I'm sure she'll do great!

I don't want any spoilers, but can you tell us what year this is? If this is Rowling's time line and Sirus isn't on the run it must be before Harry was one year old. Or maybe this an AU where Sirus wan't framed for Muggle murder.

Well to be honest I am taking creative license with the timeline Its my fanfic and I can do that. The trio is in their second year and and Sirius was never in Azkaban and he never broke out and all that jazz.

Thats all I am going to say though!

They both walked into the wand shop and a little bell went off as they pushed open the door. It seemed there was no one in the shop. Olivia looked around at the shop. There were rows and rows and tiny thin boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling. Sirius sat down in the arm chair near the window. "Go up to the counter." He instructed with a smile. Getting your wand at Ollivander's was always scary. Olivia slowly walked up to the counter and a old man came from around corner looking her up and down.

"I see the line of Black is not spent." He said looking Olivia up and down and sizing her up. "I remember your father coming to get his wand." He said as he slowly walked down the aisle as he pulled down this box and that box. "Here try this one." He barked thrusting a wand at Olivia, she reached for the handle and he pulled it back. "No that just won't do." He gave her another box. She picked it up and looked at him for what she was supposed to do. He snatched the wand out of her hand. "Not that one either."

This went on for almost an hour. Sirius had discarded the paper he was reading to look on. This had never taken so long. Mr. Olivander had broke out into a sweat. He never had trouble helping a wand and wizard find each other. Then he looked up at her and then back to a shelf that had a lone box sitting on it. He walked down and pulled the box down and went back to Olivia he opened the box gently and held it out for her. She grasped it and it felt warm in her hand. "Give it go." he told her. She just waved it over her hand and a shower of blue sparks flew from the wand and illuminated the room. Sirius jumped out of his chair and cheered.

"Well done." He said. Olivia smiled at him, she had no idea what she had done, but she was glad this torture was finally over.

"Family is a funny thing." Mr Olivander said in the midst of their celebration.

"How is that?" Sirius asked pulled some gold out of his bag to pay for Olivia's wand.

"Your mother commissioned me to create a duplicate wand for your brother and against my better judgment I did. When you brother needed a new wand the twin wand did not choose him. It is funny that his daughter would be chosen to wield it." He said his eyes boring into Olivia so much that she had to look away. He was creeping her out. Sirius paid for the wand and they left the shop. Olivia was a little shook up by Mr. Olivander.

"Is he always so creepy?" She asked as they walked down the street.

"Yes," He said with a laugh. They walked down the street heading toward the archway that Olivia and Percy had come through earlier in the day. To think she wasn't going to come, she would have never known she had a family out there. She wanted to hold his hand, like she had seen so many daughters do with their fathers, or her uncle. But she didn't know if he wanted to be touched, or even if he wanted her to touch him

"Can we fly back to that place I stayed in? She asked him really wanting to get on her broom.

"You don't have to stay there anymore. You can live with me if you like. Its the Black family home." He said stopping to look at her. He was living alone in that big house. He was actually keen on having some company.

"That would aight." She told him giving him a rare smile.

WOW!!! i luff it!!

Yay she's going to have a family! And Sirius won't be alone!

Sirius smiled, it would be nice to get some life back into the old place. They walked back into the Leaky Cauldron and Tom raised his hand in greeting to them both. Sirius headed over to the fireplace and picked up a jar off the mantle piece. "I don't suppose you have traveled by floo powder before have you?" He asked her. She gave him a look that let him know he was barking up the wrong tree on that one. "Ok well is very simple. You just step into the fireplace and say where you want to go very clearly, tuck in your elbow and throw this powder and your off." Olivia looked at the fireplace and then at the jar then at Siruis.

"Is you crazy?" She asked him, she wasn't doing that. How in the hell was she going to get somewhere using a fireplace and some magic green powder? She had seen what magic powder did to some of her friends she wasn't going to end up like that.

"No I don't think I am." He told her with a chuckle. "It is very safe." He told her he gave her a warm smile and her resolve cracked. She took a handful of the powder and walked into the fireplace. "Number 12 Grimmuald Place is where we are going." He told her. "Say it very clearly and tuck the elbows." He stepped back from the fireplace.

"Number 12 Grimmauld Place." She dropped the powder and almost danced out of the fireplace when green flames shout out around her feet, and before she could say anything the room started spinning and she felt her feet leave the ground she kept seeing flashes of other houses and people. She was spinning and she almost forgot to tuck in her elbows. Then all of a sudden she was rolling out of a fireplace and then the hit the floor. She was coughing and sneezing when Sirius stepped out of the fireplace and helped her stand up. He dusted all the soot and ashes off her. "Welcome home." He said sweeping his hand across the parlor room.

Olivia walked around the parlor room looking at everything. It looked like the family had expensive tastes.

"Sirius, Ron and Hermione are coming over for dinner." Came another voice walking into the room. He stopped when he saw Olivia. She stopped and looked at him. He had on round black glasses and a ugly little scar on her forehead. What was he looking at her for.

"Why don't you take a picture?" Olivia asked him with an attitude. What was with all the staring.

"Harry this is Olivia. My niece." Sirius announced. "Olivia this is my godson Harry Potter." He introduced them to each other. Olivia eyed Harry suspiciously, she had finally found some family and now she had to share him. She didn't want to. She wanted Sirius to tuck her in at night and rub her tummy whens he ate too much candy. She didn't want to watch him playing catch with Harry or listen to the stories of their fun times together.

"Nice to meet you." Harry said holding out his hand for her to shake. Olivia pushed pasted him and ran up the stairs. She had no idea where she was going, but the bedrooms had to bed up here somewhere. She tried all the doors and one opened. She ran inside and closed and locked the door behind her.

"She just needs some time." Sirius told Harry as they both stared after her bolting up the stairs. "She was an orphan in America. I don't think they were good to her." Harry shrugged his shoulders and went back down the kitchens to wait for Ron and Hermione to show up for dinner.

Still well written, but I think Harry would be a bit more sympathetic. He knows what it's like to lose your parents and be raised by creeps.

Is Kretcher in this story and if so does Sirus treat him any better? How will Olive react to a slave wearing rags?

Naw poor Olivia. But Harry's in the same boat sorta. Sirius is his only family as well!!
