Hogwarts RPG Name: Brooke-Ann Westerfield Second | If 'the chamber of secret' is the whole Slytherin heir thingy then is there one for the other houses? Maybe we will stumble upon a Horcrux...that is if they re-open the shool or if Harry returns.....now that you have me thinking about it I am going to go off in m own corner and contemplate....... |

He was more or less an evil wizard, having a beast to kill Muggle-borns. |

| Seriously, though... I don't think there's anything else down there. We already had one Horcrux destroyed there, so I don't think JKR would make the series repetitive by making Harry go back there and find something else that's important or interesting. OK, there might be some Dark artefacts or old letters or stuff down there, but probably nothing too life-changing.
On the flip side, imagine if Harry went round the whole world searching for the Horcruxes and then realised that they were all lying in the Chamber the whole time...

First | maybe the chamber was just for the basilisk.. its his house maybe.. or a conference room while tom recruits future death eaters or a way out of hogwarths that the marauders map haven't routed. |

First | ei can i post here? hehe! i think the chamber has another use, the main reason was of course the basilisks.. but maybe salazar slytherin put it there to gain access once he's out of hogwarts; another passageway (i guess ). but the thing was why no one could find out that to enter the chamber one has to be a parselmouth? considering salazar slytherin is a famous parselmouth and so is lord voldemort.. why did they not consider it the first time? (just wondering) |

i totally agree with you i dont think jkr would make us go back down there when there was already a horcrux destroyed there but then again maybe she would because she is always tricking us like how about dumbledores death? |

Hogwarts RPG Name: unsorted | I know some people believe there is more to the Chamber but I really don't think there is. I doubt it will be revisited in the final book. |

| I think it would just be a place for the Basilisk to live, so bones of previous dinners, and snake skins that the Basilisk grew out of. |

Sixth | The chamber was created about a thousand years ago. Shortly thereafter Slytherin left the school. Herpo the Foul created the first basilisk, which lived for almost nine hundred years. How did the basilisk get there? A basilisk must eat in order to grow. The one in the chamber had obviously eaten quite a bit. The only food was the rats that went there, but they would not last a thousand years. The chamber had to have been opened many times throughout the years by previous heirs. The chamber appears to be either some kind of arena or a tomb, not very much unlike the cave in HBP. I believe Tom Riddle visited the chamber on more than one occasion. I believe there was some kind of map in the locket of Slytherin which led him there. I believe the reason LV wanted a position at Hogwarts was to revisit the chamber and discover all its secrets. Maybe Slytherin never left the school and his remains are there along with information on the ancient dark magic of his time. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Mortis Lucifer Shazwozzle First | Two part answer here. "The Chamber of Secrets".
Chamber - Not plural so therefore...only one chamber, wow!!! So pretty safe to presume that its just one giant room/chamber thingy whatever you want to call it. But that obviously doesn't restrict the kinds of things that can be down there because as we all know, it is massive, it housed the Basilisk and it'd need room to move other than the pipes.
Secrets - Plural, so stay with me on this one here folks...more than one, the mind boggles!!! But what sort of secrets? Not only the obvious ones that are uncovered there but also it answered many questions. Tom Riddle is the heir, Ginny was writing on the walls etc etc.
So is there more down there? Chambers no but secrets, most definately. Both secrets that stay there and ones that are uncovered there. So who knows, JKR may well take us on another wild and heroic adventure into the CoS... |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sylvannas Quickspeed Sixth | I don't think there are other things inside the Chamber. Legend says it was merely a place to put the Basilisk in.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Arianna Vineland | Hello love,
You probably dont remember me but that's okay I think the chamber would hold the secerets of Tom Riddle and how to destroy him or maybe possibly all the unknown secerets of Hogwarts. Where better to put them then a place no body knows about. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Death Reaper First | I think the chamber was a hang out for the followers of voldy and where they could pratise dark spells (a bit like the room of requirements and the DA in book 5) |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Elphie-Glinda Thropp Second Year | I just think it was a room that Salazar liked to call his own. I think it made him feel powerful that he had such a great secret place that he could go to. |
