Ok, it says that you can't apparate within the grounds of Hogwarts in Hogwarts a History, and Dobby apparates into the hospital wing when Harry lost all his bones in his arm, so what's up with that?

It's kind of funny that house elves don't need to apparate, and that they're so eager to please wizards and whatnot but if that's the case is it also the case that they're more powerful? Wouldn't that be fun? And possibly also a reason that wizard kind keeps them under the boot heel of their tyranny!!!!!!!!111111111

Houselves have their own kind of magic! They can apparate almost everywhere, at least at Hogwarts anyway.
It's only humans who can't apparate inside Hogwart's grounds.

But then Dumbledore uses a port key to apparate within Hogwarts so maybe House Elf magic is similar to using a port key

Do any of the people actually try to apparate though? Maybe there isnt a apparating ban, just everyone is told there is so they dont bother trying but the house elves know it's not real? only a suggestion and probably not right but it just came into my mind so i thought i'd write it down!

You definatly cant apperate into the grounds or the castle becasue if you could, in HBP Malfoy wouldnt have had to fix the vanishing cabinet. The Death Eaters would have already tried.
House elf magic is not nessissarily more powerful than wizard magic but it is very different.

We've discussed that house elves can't apparate, but they can dissapear to a new location with a snap of their fingers right? well in order for house elves not become more powerful than a wizard, i think house elves should only be able to change location within a certain perimeter. But then, the whole SPEW would be against that, so thats not an option. I do think it would have been cool if J.K added something to the book about house elve's taking over with the help of SPEW, but that would totally change the story. anyway... do you get what i'm saying or am i just confusing you even more? sorry if i am

wizards dont have to have more magic to keep the house elves under their boots.

house elves have magic that wizards dont even consider magic. It isnt even in their realm of reality till they need them to do something and use their magic for it.
house elves have their own magic and thats why they can do things that wizards cant, they are born with their magic, its a part of them like their DNA, wizards have to learn it and then learn how to use it.

That's right-Elves have been under Human slavery for basically their entire existence (as it seems) I believe that it's mostly likely that their so used to their ways they don't want to leave these ways behind.

Houseleves can apparate. They just use different magic. Think of it like a mobile phone. Witches and Wizards use Optus and Elves use Telstra. It's the same but different if that makes sense.

Dobby can move in and out of the walls of Hogswarts school at will because he is the awesomest, and can do whatever he wants.

I reckon when the castle was built, the founders didn't set up specific blocks for all types of magic. Wizards are prohibited from Apparating or Disapparating, but who cares about an elf? *coughSPEWunite*cough*
