Ry looked at the house nervously. Spain was supposed to be warm....so why did she feel so cold? It wasn't the Apparition, for that never had any effect whatsoever on Ryan. Maybe it was the nervousness she faced....and it was no wonder, really. There were lights on in the small cottage, and the grass was cut. If this was the priest's cottage, then he was definitely at home.
'Are you ready?' she asked her co-workers nervously.

Charlie apparated just behind Ry and put his hand on her shoulder, "Nervous? He asked, noting the tone in Ry's voice. "Don't be" he said before she could answer, "We've done this time and time again, this isn't going to be any different. Trust me." Charlie nodded.

Looking around Charlie noiced that the sun was just beginning to set. "I say we lay low ...just a bit longer. The lights are on inside, and I see movement inside the house, so there's definitely someone inside. BUT I don't want to chance our shadows giving us away as we move up towards the house." Charlie said as he eyed the house a bit closer. "No, we wait for cover of darkness...it shouldn't be much longer now anyway."

"So, let's take a moment to go over what we have then, shall we?....Ok, we're here today, because we suspect that the priest who married the French and German Minister of Magic's children is holed up in that house." Charlie said pointing up towards the now darkening house.

"We really need to press this priest. He's our only hope in finding the where abouts of Philip and Anya." Charlie said sternly. "This boycot of ministries is deeply affecting the all of the international ministries, so the sooner we find them the better."

Charlie peered up at the house, and then back at Ry. "Do you have any questions before we start?" Looking around, "I think we're still waiting for one more person anyway, if I'm not mistaken. So we do have a few more minute... I just hope he or she arrives soon, I don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves waiting here." Ryan said, making sure that they kept well hidden.

Padre Amado was busy staring down his tea kettle. It was taking an awfully long time to whistle and he just wanted to drink his tea and cozy up to his bed after saying his prayers. He had worked in the garden for a few minutes and regretted it immediately. However, he knew the Lord never gave him more than he could handle.

'Okay, so it sounds really unprofessional, and I know there's always a chance, but I have to ask - what is the chance of anyone dying? What if he turns out to know some Dark magic? He shouldn't, because then it would be left to the Aurors, but-' Ryan realised she was going on, and breathed out. 'Sorry - I had an arguament with my boyfriend this morning, and we didn't talk to each other. I kind of took it out on my son, too....and now I feel awful. I can put it behind me while I'm in action....it's just the run-up to it. I am nervous...very nervous'.

Kaitlin Apparated just outside the the little village in Madrid. She took a deep breath and started walking forward anxious to find out where the runaway lovers had run off to.

Charlie closed his eyes and shook his head for a moment. He was always known for keeping his cool and using his head in the most difficult of situations. Hearing the crazy story Ryan was rambling off, Charlie was glad at that moment he was such a patient man.

Placing his hand squarely on Ryan's shoulder, he said "Let me ask you Ryan. Have I ever failed you in your trainings? Do you not feel confident enought to go in there and perform your job? I brought you along, because I believe you to be one of my top hit wizards. I have the utmost confidence in you, but you need to share in that confidence Ryan." Charlie said looking at Ryan square in the eye to show his trust in his employee. "Now, with that said...do I think anything is going to happen? No. I believe that this will be a routine case. However," Chalie said, "If something is to go wrong, I am confident we'll be able to quickly take charge of the situation. To do that Ryan...." Charlie eyed her closely, "I need you to stay focused. I know how difficult your morning must have been. And I am sorry for that, really I am." Charlie frowned, "But right now, that has to be in the past. Not to sound too harsh, but I do hope you have left that at home now, and are ready to face what is about to come. This guy may be a priest, but I guarantee he's no saint," Charlie smirked. "Remember, we must always be prepared for the unexpected."

Just as he finished talking to Ryan, the representative from the British Seats of International Magical Office of Law apparated along side them. Not even acknowleding the two hitwizards next to her, she began to walk right up to the house. Charlie quickly grabbed hold of her. "Ahhh, about time you arrived. We've been waiting for you, although I see you think you're alone on this mission do you? Or do you always go into dangerous interrogations without back up?" Charlie said angrily. "You could have easily blown our cover, just going up to the house like that. Have you even bothered to take notice of the situation? I don't know... maybe even so much as glanced at the house to see what was going on? Because I have. And seeing as it's nearing sun down, I've already discussed with Ryan here, that it might be best for us to wait for cover of night fall before walking up to the house. You know... so we don't cast any shadows as we head up there...giving us away as we arrive" Charlie said, annoyed at the inexperienced interrrogator. "Don't worry, It won't be much longer now til' the sun goes down. So we won't keep you waiting much longer. I suggest you get comfortable a moment and wait here with us. I really don't want to have to go in and make a take down and a rescue, or perhaps even a body retrieval if you get my drift." Ryan said glaring at the obviously inexperienced interrogator.

"Now that we have that cleared up," Charlie said taking charge of the situaiton, "Let me ask you a question. First of all, what are your plans for the situation? Secondly, what would you like for us to do? I'm guessing from previous interrogations, that you will try the nice girl approach first... you know, going to the door, knocking politely and hoping to have a nice civilized conversation with the this priest. Perhaps extracting some important information from him in the process." Charlie sighed, "However, seeing as that doesn't always go as planned, Ryan and I will have our wands at the ready," He said looking over at his partner, "and are prepared to stun the priest at a moment's notice. We won't aim to hurt him, just stun him enough to sit him down, but always, having our wands at the ready. We will are prepared to take whatever steps necessary to ensure our safety. Safely always comes first! Is that understood?" Charlie asked realizing he was already taking charge of the situation, but feeling like it was necessary to keep some order to the mission.

He looked back at the interrogator and smiled, "I mean...I mean ... not that I"m trying to interefere with your duties, or anything... I would nevet want to overstep my boundaries, fo course" Charlie said, trying not to be sarcastic, "I simply to make sure we're all on the same page and well prepared, before we go up to the house."

Looking back up at the house, Charlie could see the priest was in the kitchen waiting for what looked like a tea kettle to boil. "Well, he's definitely home, and luckily for us, he hasn't noticed we're here... so he's not expecting a thing," Charlie said as he looked up at the evening sky, watching as the sun began to set. "Won't be much longer now. Let's be careful to stay hidden until then." he said, crouching down behind some shrubbery so as not to be noticed.

Kaitlin opened her mouth to object as Charlie lectured her but she closed it quickly again, a frown on her face.
"Yes it's understood," she replied quickly before she snapped at him or rolled her eyes. The temptation was incredible, but somehow she resisted, her hands on her hips.

Ryan nodded, her eyes dark.
'I'm a hit wizard - or witch, because I have mentioned this so many times that the term "Hit Wizard" is sexist...oh, sorry,' she said, noting that she had trailed completely off course again. 'What I'm saying is, I'm not going to let you down, you know'. She looked at their newly arrived comrade, and reached out her wand. She twirled it in her hand.

Charlie could see the woman was a bit annoyed, but he didn't have time to argue. They had to act as a team if this job was going to be successful, and that meant that they had to all understand each other and go up to the house at the same time.

Charlie faked a smile and said, "Good, good.... now I've shared our understandings for this mission. Tell me, what is it you need us to know or for us to do, before we go in, aside from what I've just outlined? "


Charlie turned to Ryan as she began to playfully complain. "Ahhh, I'm on a mission with two of the finest women in the Ministry and now I'm a sexist. Oh the priest will love this, I'm sure." Charlie laughed, happy to lighten the mood a bit. He pretended to sigh, "But alas, Ryan... you are right. How unfair of me to call you a hit wizard, not a hit witch. It's the Ministry though... I've talked to them about changing the titles many times, but it's always something about this is the way it's always been, why change it now." Charlie shook his head, "personally I think it's all about superstition and the fear that if they change it, the whole department will fall apart or something. Again...silly, I know. But whoever said the ministry ever made complete sense." Charlie smirked.

Seeing as it was now nearly nightfall, Charlie began to regain his composure. Looking at both women, he nodded towards the house "Any last minute questions before we procede?"

Ry grinned.
'Ah, the Ministry seem to think if they touch something, the place is going to fall apart. Not complaining, though. Always good to be alert, right? That bonkers old Auror who'd wander around saying "Constant Vigilance" actually had a point - for the first time ever' she joked. She never meant to sound disrespectful - it was just in her good-natured yet cheeky personality that she did. Tucking away a strand of loose hair, the young woman focused on the small house. 'Nada and negative on the questions front, Cap'n,' she laughed.

Kaitlin shook her head slightly.
"I have pretty much nothing to say besides, let's find out where the Ministers' children have run off to," she said.

Charlie smiled and nodded, "well the poor guy had to right some time, although I'm sure in his day he was a great auror, I mean why else would the ministry have hired him, right?" Charlie asked often wondering that himself about certain ministry members. Looking strangely at Ry, "Captain? When did I become a muggle?" he smirked.

With Kaitlin's comment, Charlie straightened up and found himself getting back to business. "Sounds good to me! I think it's safe now to wonder up to the house under cover of darkness. Remember let's do this quietly, so careful where you walk.. we don't want to give ourselves away before we need to. Lead the way Ma'am" Charlie motioned as he drew out his wand and prepared to back up the interrogator, which he had just realized, had never properly introduced herself. Shaking that thought off, Charlie silently thought to himself, "I hope that's not a sign of things to come."

Ry had been about to reply, but she realised that they were ready to start.
'Am I the only one who's getting a very bad feeling about this?' she asked. It was like getting a headache when thunderstorms were about; Ry seemed to be able to sense trouble. Something told her the priest may not prove as persuasive as they wanted him to.

Kaitlin turned to Ry and offered her a small smile.
"I don't have a bad feeling, but I'm definately nervous," she replied. Then it hit her. She had never even told Ryan and Charlie who she was. She let out a small gasp.
"Oh my gosh! I never even introduced myself! I'm Kaitlin McClain. I'm terribly sorry, but no time to chat now. Let's get moving," she said quickly and started walking slowly toward the village.

Charlie looked curiously at Ry, he secretly wondered if she knew something he didn't, but didn't dare speak those words. He shook his head at her comments, "No worries, I'm sure all will be well. And if things go sour, we'll handle it just fine. That's what we're trained for."

Charlie smirked, "No worries, I'm not sure any of us introduced ourselves. I'm Charlie Pace, and this is one of my best hit wizards...erm hit witches" Charlie smirked as he corrected himself, "Ryan Taylor. So now that you know us both, don't be nervous, we've got your back and all will be fine."

He was glad the mission was finally getting started, he loved the action of a mission and absolutely loathed any down time he had to sit through. He watched Kaitlin move toward the house and took his wand out, motioning for Ryan to do the same as he quietly walked behind Kaitlin ready to have her back at a moment's notice.

Ry grinned as Charlie corrected himself. She followed him quietly, winking at Kaitlin as she did so. She also adored the thrill of a possible battle - but only when she didn't feel that things would go wrong. Her head was spinning with possibilites, and none of them were too good.
