The multilingual chattering raises into an intense buzzing that makes your ears itch in discomfort. However, after several weeks of working as an OIT for the Magical Governments the buzzing is barely recognizable and you are able to walk amongst the Translators and work without any discomfort.
The cubicles are much more messier than the other divisions' and the fluorescent light flickers on and off repeatedly in an irritating manner. Someone better get the techies to fix that. | |

Fiona hurried to her desk, when she closed the door and quickly sat down. She had so many things to do. She had to translate a letter from Spanish Prime Minister and write a letter to Italian Prime Minister. She thought she'd do that in a few minutes. While she was writing other people came in. She had no time to talk, she just wrote.

Ashlay walked briskly into the office, and heard all kinds of different languages buzzing into one unified noise. The chaos was almost comforting. She got to her desk and left the door open, in case anyone needed to talk to her, they could just walk right in. She was in a good mood and started humming random songs as she wrote strongly worded letters to the Brazilian Ministry about sending over counterfiet gold for the shipment of unicorn horns that they had sent over.

When Fiona finished with her Spanish letter, she countinued with Italian one. She looked around, and she was very surprised, that there was just one person in the room with her. She checked her watch. Almost 9 o'clock. Where are they? This was very surprising, so she decided she'll take this letters to Miss Matos. When, she stood up, her phone rang. She picked it up - it was Spanish Prime Minister. She quickly said, that the letter was on his way and hurried to Miss Matos's office.

After a brief hold-up at the security desk Persephone sat down to whittle down the mountain of papers. "German Chancellor......Polish Minister...MOM?" quickly rearranging piles on her desk she hides her mother's letter in the depths of a desk drawer. "Great another problem with Romania...." sighing she translates the letter and sends it on to a department better suited for conflict resolution.

On her return from the break room Persephone notices an interoffice message lying on her desk. Without delay she tore open the seal and read of the impending meeting, and possibly fight. "My first all-nighter," Persephone lamented, "and a meeting at 9? How ever will I be all bright-eyed and bushy tailed for the ministers? Oh well, this should be entertaining. I need more coffee..." Pulling herself from the amazingly comfortable new chair she returned to the break room.

Lea-Sun Laflamme walked into the department and mumbled under her breath as she noticed the ceiling light hadn't been fixed yet. She stopped and shook her fist at the rebellious lighting device. Merlin's beard! Can't anyone do something about that? she thought moodily. It never occured to her that as Head of Department, she should have been the one in charge of fixing it; she always assumed someone else would get as annoyed as she was with the situation and do something about it at some point in the near future.
The young Asian woman had just got back from the Interdepartamental Mailbox, where she'd found a letter adressed to her, and was in a foul mood after being told the cafeteria had run out of nachos, her usual afternoon snack. Lea-Sun was practically running across the room to her private office when she suddenly slipped on her own shoe lace and found herself laying on her back upon the wooden floor. "Ouch!" she cried out. When she tried to move her legs and get up, she immediatly felt a stinging pain to the side of her left calf and had to give up. Instead of panicking, though, the woman simply decided she'd as well open the letter she'd been carrying all this time and managed to cut it open with her thumbnail.
She scanned the letter and sighed loudly as she realized they'd be having a conference the next morning. "Mooooore work," she grumbled out loud, rolling her eyes. "It'll have to wait though." Closing her eyes, Lea-Sun stretched her legs and rested the letter upon her chest. An afternoon nap always helped her relax, even if she was laying in the middle of an alley with her co-workers chatting loudly all around her. Before completely surrendering herself to sleep, however, she flicked her wand and a huge, yellow sign appeared out of thin air and hovered over her body with the words "I'M HERE." She then zonked out and fell asleep, snoring softly.

When Fiona finished giving letter to her boss, she returned to the office. When she stepped trgouht the door, she was happier. A lot of people arrived, since she left the office. She saw her good friend Lea-Sun and she dicided to go and talk to her.
When, she got cloer to the her desk, she notiched Lea was asleep. Fiona laughed at herself and gently poked Lea-Sun.
"Hey, princess. I assume you didn't get enought of sleep at home, eh?" she said smiling, while watching how Lea-Sun was getting up very slowly.

Serena walked into the office smiling to herself as she heard the talking all around her, the different languages blending together. She walked over to her desk and sat down, picking up a memo that was there. She quickly scanned the note and, upon finishing it, picked up a quill and a blank piece of parchment. Absentmindedly, Serena penned a letter to the Pakistan Head of International Magical Cooperation concerning the illegal trade flying carpets.

Lea-Sun groaned loudly in her sleep as Fiona tried to wake her up. "No...! Peter, I don't want to go in the fridge! Let go of me, let..." The woman's eyes suddenly shot open, and she blushed slightly before an alarmed expression crossed her face. "What...What time is it?" she asked just as she spotted the old, wooden clock on the opposite wall. "9:30? HOLY KELPIE!" she yelled as she leaped to her feet and grabbed her co-worker's arm tightly. "Did I sleep on that floor all night? I can't believe it!"
She tried to re-arrange her crumpled outfit with her free hand, but gave up after she realized it was no use. She let out a desperate sigh, then proceeded to drag Fiona towards the door in a hurry. "Come on! The meeting must have started! You better speak German, otherwise we'll look like fools!" German was one of the few languages Lea-Sun had never had the chance to learn, and it was quite unfortunate that the current situation involved the German Minister... French, she could deal with. German... well they'd see. They passed several cubicles and the Head of Division noticed a young blonde sitting by her desk. "YOU!" she yelled as she pointed at her, not slowing down her pace. "Er...Contact a techie! If that ceiling light doesn't get fixed soon, I...I...yeah!" she said hesitantly, before reaching the door and stepping into the corridor leading to the conference room, Fiona on her heels. | |

As Fiona followed Lea-Sun, she almost tripped. "We better hurry," she said, taking a deep breathe.
They were almost there, when Lea-Sun suddenly stopped. "What is it? Did you forgot something?"
