As you get about half way down the hall on the left is a room that doesn't have a division sign next to it. On the actually door to the room is a note with the words "Attention" written in big bold letters. The rest of the note read:

The conference room is under lock and key. If you need the room, please request to Miss Bass the time, date. and how long you need the room. Thanks.

Lizeth nodded her head towards the man. This sounded easy enough. Time consuming, but easy. "When are we supposed to see Miss Taylor about this stuff?"

Rico honestly didn't even want to think about meeting with Ms. Taylor - wasn't she the Slave of Honor at that wedding? Heh, maybe a meeting with her wouldn't be too bad on second thought. He just didn't want to do the work to get there.

But aha, the American minister would be coming too; great, a taste of home. Maybe this conference wouldn't be so dredfully boring as it sounded at the moment.

"So...we do the work stuff and then contact you, Chad?" Rico asked with a cocked eyebrow. Sure he knew the answer but a few questions never hurt the Frenchie anyways. "Will do." He nodded and shuffled his papers up, getting ready to leave.

"Alright," he said after no one asked any questions. "Let's get to work people!" And with that, he opened the conference room door and nodded to each person as they walked out the door.

Donia sighed as she left the confrence room. Lots of work needed to be done. She had heard of a number of those ministers; her father had worked at the British Ministry for years before she did, and she vaguely remembered hearing of some of those...the French, Indian, and Norwegian ministers in particular. Donia sighed again and thought of the invitations. If she could remember how to spell in Norwegian, then maybe she could help. Bless her mother for being from Norway.

Rico gathered his papers up in one swift movement and was out the door in the next. He was all too eager to actually get back to his division and get a fresh cup of coffee...come to think of it, maybe he would make a slight detour first. After all, the break room was on the way...

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate...

Oh yes. Nicholas had been daydreaming the entire time. Well, not the entire time, but his mind had certainly left his body for some time now. Well, at least he had not missed much, for it seems that the only thing his division had to deal with was The Decorations and Gifts. He could do that. It was not a very difficult task, and it would be the perfect oportunity to show Evaline that she'd made the right choice when hiring him for the Division Head position.

Brown curls bouncing as Dwight shook his head to return completely to reality, he rolled the parchment, ink and quill that he had not used, and trust it safely on his hands. Bowing his head a little to Stryker, Nicholas exited the Conference room, and headed to the division. There was a lot of work to be done. Not a very hard work, but a lot of it nonetheless.

Evaline walked into the conference room and took her seat at the head of the table waiting for the certain employees coming to arrive. She whipped out her wand, filled her mug with tea, and waited.

(Only the people assigned to the Flying carpets task may take part in this conference. You know who you are, so if you got no info on the matter this is not for you. Also my division head's not assigned to this task may attend if wanted)

Anita walked into the conference room, carrying her usual notebook and self inking quill.

"Hello Miss Bass. I'm Anita Volt. Can I call you Evaline or would you prefer Miss Bass?" she said with a smile but a touch of nervousness and she sat down.

Kyra found her way to the conference room, stepped inside and quickly introduced herself.

"Hello Miss Bass. My name is Kyra Jennings, so nice to meet you." she said as she took the seat nearest to Anita. She gave everyone a friendly smile and tried to memorize all of the new faces.

Madison walked into the conference room to help out with the carpet laws. She smiled at the two other employees from her floor and gave a nod of her head but didn't speak unless she was asked. The lady sitting at the table seemed rather calm at the moment sipping on her tea of choice, which actually sounded delightful none the less. As the other two employees made their way a little further, Madi kept her distance behind but still was inside of the room as her shyness kept her from speaking at the moment.

Evaline watched as three employees not from her department walked into the conference room. She sighed and smiled at the two girls who approached her and waved back. "Miss Bass will do," she said to the girl who asked what should she call her and then added, "It's nice to meet you both. Take a seat while we wait for the others."

She then smiled at the third, who seemed quite shy. Hopefully she would be more talkative when the discussion started.

Madison gave a nod of her head and smiled. Now it was time for introductions as she listened to what the lady said and that they were waiting on others to arrive as well. "Nice to meet you, Ms. Bass," she spoke softly. "Madison Myers, from Transportation." She quietly took her seat wondering who the others that were to arrive as well.

Lorraine hurried down to Level Five conference room as quickly as she could; it wasn't her fault that she got tied up with other activities. Noting the door ajar slightly, she knocked once before enter as it appeared the meeting hadn't commenced yet. "Sorry," she muttered as she took the seat next to Evaline.

Smiling at her, she looked around and was pleased to see her three employees were there already. Such model employees; she thought, making a mental note to give them a raise.

"So have I missed anything? We waiting for more to show up?" she asked, looking sideways at her fellow departmental head.

Evaline nodded at the new girl as she took her seat. "Nice to meet you," she responded and then saw Lorraine walk in and toward her. "Hey Lorraine," she said and then added, "Well their should be more from my department, but it looks like its only me for now. I will have to repremand them later."

Looking at the small congregation, she smiled and then greeted them as one whole. "Welcome guys. Glad you can make it. We need to get things planned about the topic of flying carpets and what are stance is on legalizing them or not in Britain for the conference." she started.

She paused wondering if Lorraine had anything else to add to that.

Chad slipped into the Conference Room, looking apologetic, and taking a seat down beside Bass. "I figured I should be here," he murmured quietly, digging out a quill. "Where's everyone else?" He looked around the room, frowning a little.

Lorraine nodded at Evaline when she said there should be more from her department; she sighed gratefully that her employees showed up. At least some of her department was good.

Listening to Evaline talk first, she had a quill ready in her hand just in case she needed to copy down notes or something. She was about to reply with her opinion on flying carpet laws when someone else walked in; the only gentleman it seemed. Figuring it was best to be polite, she nodded her head at him in acknowledgment before going back to flying carpets.

"Well the first thing I think we should do is develop a list of the pros and cons of flying carpet use. That should make it easier to determine our stance on the topic," she continued, gazing around the room. "We'll start with cons first; they're easily misused and obviously if it gets into the wrong hands, such as those of a muggle, it could be dangerous..." she started them off, but knew that brooms were equally dangerous.

She waited for Lorraine to say something, and it looked like she was about too when Chad slipped into the conference room. She nodded at him and accepted his apology and then shrugged about the other people, but kept a stern face becasue she was mad no one from her department showed up.

Then Lorraine spoke. She took down some of the notes she said and then wrote with her wand on the board the first con they had. "Another con I think is not if the muggles get them, but what if an evil source gets them. They could make the carpets do all kind of things." she suggested.

Lizeth rushed into the meeting late. "I am so sorry." She said, smiling apologetically. She sat down and pulled out her quill. "I've been so busy, I forgot it was today." And truthfully, she hadn't had time to sleep lately.

His curly haired head poke inside the conference room before the rest of his body did. Judging by the amount of people inside and their tone of voices, he was clearly late. Late. Thought it was not his fault, really; he had just found out about that meeting. Sighing a little, Dwight stepped in the conference room, before trying unsuccessfully to tame his wild curls, which was something that Nicholas often did whenever he was nervous.

"I apologize for my lateness, Evaline", he murmured briefly, with an apologetic smile dancing on the corners of his lips. With a rather friendly expression on her face, Nicholas nodded politely to the rest of the people gathered in there, before strolling towards the nearest chair, and taking seat quietly.

Well, now hearing what they were talking about was the only thing left for him to do.

Waiting for the others to speak up about their opinion on flying carpets was like waiting for rain to fall in a drought; useless. Finally Evaline spoke, keeping a stern expression undoubtedly disappointed with the lack of representation from her department. She nodded at her con in agreement, but before she could say anything else, two employees hurried in. Probably Evaline's judging from lack of recognition. If it were her, she would have snapped for their late arrival, but this wasn't her meeting and thus she continued . . .

"That is a good con, Evaline," she nodded again approvingly, flicking her wand to copy it on the board, as Evaline did moments before. "For those who were gracious enough to grace us with their presence - ahem -" she gave a stern look to the two late employees, "We were discussing the pros and cons of flying carpet use in this country. We started with cons; we'll discuss both before we choose a side to take for the conference."

Evaline looked at the two employees, one being her division head that walked in. "Nice of you two to join us," she replied and ushered them to a seat. She would talk to them later.

She then listened to Lorraine catch them up on what was going on. "Thanks. I was just going to say that. Do you two have any cons on this topic?" she asked putting them on the spot. She was not going to take tardiness and she had to show that infront of Lorraine, a more experienced Head.

Kyra was giving much thought to what problems might arise from the use of flying carpets. They were so similar to brooms that she felt it must be obvious that falling off of the carpet was a concern. She cleared her throat and began to speak.

Miss Bass, I would also consider the unpredictability of the carpets to be a concern. Especially if we are experiencing particularly bad weather. I worry about injuries from falls, as well." she said.
