Daniel, upon standing up after doing the ritual tapping to go towards the office saw the magnificent office. He then reads the sign:

This is it. As he entered he noticed the desks. And he was amazed to see that his Superior was one of the head in here. He smiled and approached him.

"Sir, I have signed up for the Independent Project for the Election. I am here to impart my Research mastery and Debate expertise. Please assign me to wherever post you see fit." he said smiling while talking to Mr. Wright.

Bit of a pain to get inside, count here, tap there... what? A door bell is just too simple?

George marched in, or as much as someone CAN march when you're wearing Ferragamo wedge heals. In her right hand was her cavernous briefcase, and in her left was her ever present coffee.

Already in the room... was a man, obviously younger than her, obviously what that weird tourist from her bartending days had taught her to call, "a keener."

George was NOT a social type by nature. She could count all her friends on one hand, and she was not looking to make any new ones. She didn't join the independent campaign to make friends. She joined to keep herself busy.

She sipped her coffee and pointedly ignored the man.

Tristan had been standing outside the building, trying to get inside. But the counting of the stones and the tapping and... He sighed. Anyway, he was finally inside the building and very much looking forward to begin his work.

This would indeed be interesting, not really knowing who the candidates were Tristan had decided to pick the Independent, hoping that people would take their time to vote.

As he walked in, there were'nt that many people here, he scuttled over to a corner and sat down. Looking around the grand architecture of this place.

Dan approached the building and entered. He had a muffin in hand. He had always liked muffins. He looked around the building and asked "So... people, what are we doing?" and then he took a bite out of his muffin.

Was this the right place?

Donovan noticed a bit of a break between a couple of the empty buildings and stared at it for a moment. Yes, this must be it. Trying to remember what the memo instructed, he crouched down and twice tapped a very specific spot with his wand. Inwardly rolling his eyes at just how precise the entry had to be, Donovan casually sauntered into the now-visible house.

Noticing that there were quite a few people already assembled, Donovan's eyes fell upon the three employees seated near the door and apparently in charge. He gave them all a collective nod and polite smile in greeting, somewhat surprised that his department head was there and not at all familiar with the other two.

Making his way further into the room, his eyes scanned the other occupants as he waited for the meeting to begin. Donovan did a double take at the sight of long red hair and apparently expensive shoes. Since when did Donovan notice shoes? Eyes lingered on the woman for the briefest moment. No, it wasn't her. But she reminded him of someone else.

Giving the woman a small smile as to not appear rude, he looked away at the others in the room for any sign of familiarity. There was another guy from the Department of Mysteries - DH, was it? And no one else looked familiar, which wasn't all that surprising to him being somewhat new to the country. Shrugging softly to himself, Donovan leaned against the wall, waiting for further instructions.

Armen Recard was walking down the street reading the daily prophet, hidden behind a muggle magazine, when he reached the break in the buildings. He looked up and then remembered what the memo he had recieved said about the Independent Campaign meeting place and this fit the bill. So he walked down there and tapped his wand and entered the white house. He walked in to the meeting room full of desks and a small group of people waiting. He decided to be friendly and great his fellow campaign workers, since he didnt know any of them from his regular job.
"Hello everyone. Im Armen Recard. I work for the Department of Transportation. How about you guys?"

Nicoli quickly tapped the bricks with his wand, allowing the building to appear before him. Grinning slightly, he read the sign in the yard appreciatively. Nicoli hurried down the corridor into the main work area and scanned the desks around him.

Spotting Syd in one of the grander desks, Nicoli smiled and waved a little. He knew from that owl that he was in the debate committee. Which meant less time for chatting and more time for discussing.

Nicoli noted his superior's desk close to Syd's and swiftly placed himself next to it. "Hello, sir!" he said brightly. "Nicoli Vanhatck, debating committee, ready for work."

The moment Lorraine had left the Headquarters, she should have known she would have been swarmed by a mob of angry citizens. It wasn't that she was in a highly desired position. Oh no! Her position was nothing on someone like Reagan Taylor's or even Angelica's. But apparently, during election season, people seemed eager to bombard her with a million and one questions - why this? Why that? Ugh!

Hence why it took her three tries to get the right stones this time into the house that she herself had invested in as their headquarters, setting up the security measures, which were revised by Syd. Too much to concentrate on and too little time; that's what the brunette decided. Not to mention that her assistant was leaving soon for her wedding. Stupid romantic commitments. Couldn't they wait until after the election and late-night coffee runs? Obviously not. Pfft. Whatever.

Finally entering the headquarters, she juggled three coffees in one hand as she set them down on the desks by the door. Hopefully Syd and Elijah liked coffee - cause they would need it! Picking up her own, Lorraine took a sip of the steaming hot beverage, before setting the cup back down and noticing (for the first time) how many employees had found their way in here. Excellent turnout, she thought. But what are they waiting for? Why aren't they working? Oh right. SHE was campaign manager.

Clearing her throat to grab all their attention, she swiftly picked up the sheet with their names and first task. "Well I don't believe that all of you have arrived yet, but those who have can get started with Brainstorming. For those who don't me, my name is Lorraine Brothmeister and I am the Department Head of Magical Transportation, as well as your Campaign Manager for the Independent Campaign."

"Though you already know this, Research Committee will consist of Daniel Henry Smith, Dan Weasley, Wyatt Potter," pausing as she blinked to ensure she read the correct names (cause a Potter and Weasley together nowadays was obviously unusual to the department head). "Georgia Mayes and Kristofer Atkins. You five will be working on researching the two candidates for some non-bias information regarding their lifestyles, employment records, and any other information you could gather."

ooc from Jess: Use the filing cabinets on level one, as well as perhaps even contacting Tiffanie and/or Erin with other information you may need. Divide yourselves up and you can each take a piece of the candidate to focus on (i.e. one person could cover background for Cooper, one background for Taylor, whatever other info you think will be useful but keeping it NON-BIAS)

"The next committee will be the Debates committee, which I have to work on that Evaline Bass, Armen Recard, Cornelius Copernicus, Nicoli Vanhatck, and Donovan Calrissian," she paused and blinked as another name just appeared below Donovan's. "And Jordan Maxxing too. The ..." Recounting the names again mentally, "The six of you on the Debate Development Committee will need to write down three or four topics of controversy in the Wizarding World and then create 5 or more questions under each topic that could be asked in a debate to the candidate."

ooc from Jess: Think of election debates that occur in the muggle world (your everyday world) and the topics discussed. Then apply them to the magical world... some things, like foreign affairs (yes, you can use that one) will still be applicable. So basically all you need to do is a couple debate topics such as the one i listed and then create some open-ended questions about the topics.

"The final committee is of course, Advertising, which as you probably know includes getting the word out about the elections that are coming up," Lorraine explained. "This includes the upcoming debates and the election itself, because it is a major event in history, so we want as many people to come out to vote as possible. On this committee will be Tristan Aneirin Carwyn, Angelina Gilmore, and Jonathan Windswept." Finishing with the announcement of all committee members at this time, Lorraine set the parchment back down before continuing. "Basically, use your artistic abilities to create buttons, banners, bumper stickers, or whatever else you could think of that will get the word out about the election."

ooc from Jess: Just go graphic crazy with this. Create some avatars, signatures, and banners (that will go in Daily Prophet Headquarters and Diagon Alley Shops, as well as the lifts at the Ministry and various departments/divisions) about the upcoming election/debates and voting. These are just general election graphics, so if you include the candidates, then include BOTH on the graphic. Non-bias. You could even make some banners with the debate topics once debate committee has those done.


"If anything at all is not clear, then please come and ask me and of course, once you're finished, then come show myself, Syd, and Elijah the finished products for review." Lorraine finished, and then strode around the desk and sat down gracefully, head bent and already working on some more things that would need to be researched.

"Now make sure ya'll make your posters and whatnots bold. We gotta get people to vote here. Use bright or bold colors, bold text, and make sure it's eyecatching."

Syd went over and opened up a trunk full of art supplies he had purchased. Secretly he really enjoyed this stuff, but he wouldn't tell anyone about it.

Ok thought Armend. The task has been set and he gathered around his fellow Debate workers. "Ok so what we need to do is come up with topics for the Debate questions. So The first one can be Foreign Affairs. And then we need to think about 5 questions to ask the canidates. I have one," he smiled brightly to his co-workers. "How about, 'What steps will you take to help stregthen our own Ministry's relationship with the foreing Ministries?'"

Daniel snapped his fingers and came a notepad and a pen. He had written down the names of his colleagues at the research department as follows.

Well that was new. He had never known this people before. Daniel sighed. working in the Department of Mysteries where no one ever visits in scare of dying there, was a downfall. OH well. We can get acquainted later.

So where to start? he thought

Potter? So unusual, and here Dan stod thinking they were gone. Oh well "I`m Dan " he said "and the rest?" he asked politly waiting for everybody to be introduced

DH heard the man say that he is Dan. He approached him and said, "Hi, I am Daniel Henry Smith. But you can call me DH. How are you?" extending his hands to shake that of Dan.

Dan smilled and shook Daniels hand "I`d rather stick with Henry if you didn`t mind" he said and that he said "Thats two of us, anyone else?"

Daniel smiled, "Henry it is." he looked around and was looking for others. He was devising a plan as they speak. He was to take part in the interview process. But who will they take as their leader?

Cornelius spoke up,'' I think another topic can be education.I have a question for Foreign Relations, What will you do to strengthen the international confederation. another can be if anyother countries are going to be allowed into the confederation.''

Nicoli nodded slightly. "The Foreign Affairs is a good idea. Especially after what happened at the International Conference. We could ask the candidates what they thought went wrong with security and what they would do to stop that from happening in the future." He paused. It was apparent that what went wrong was his fault. He was Head of MLES...that question should more likely be addressed to him than the candidates. "Then of course what they plan to do to rectify the frayed connection with France."

Nicoli smiled at Cornelius. "That's a good point. There still are lots of countries outside the confederation." He paused, considering. "As for education, what do you plan to ask? I know Minister Cooper has already...ah...applied some Ministry influence at Hogwarts. Of course, it would be a good question to ask Miss Reagan in particular, as her views on the topic have been minimal to my knowledge."

ooc: Sorry for not being here, but Lorraine has left the Ministry and new character is stepping in. Please come and meet her!

So it was official now; Brothmeister had left the Ministry due to some sort of 'emergency'. If Sophia didn't know better, then she would assume the woman was having some sort of maternal emergency. Though she never worked with Lorraine, Former Head of Magical Transportation, Sophia did know from the file of paperwork she received that Lorraine was a workaholic. Not a mother. Nearing forty, this was likely to not change anytime soon. But running away with her Hogwarts sweetheart!? Now that was scandalous.

Though it was also none of her business, so as the well-dressed woman stepped into the headquarters - well secured it was by the way - the first thing she noticed was that two names were there that shouldn't be. Frowning, she shook her head and crossed of 'Elijah Wright', who was her predecessor. And then 'Lorraine Brothmeister', neatly writing her name 'Sophia Anne Vivaldi' above it.

And now she needed to round up the committees. Glancing around at those working steadily, she grimaced slightly, before casting a Sonorus charm at her throat. "Everyone report to the front of the headquarters immediately!" Her feminine tone was fierce and demanding, an air of dignity present. Goodness, she hadn't used that tone in the longest time and it felt great!

Armen walked away from his group that was working on questions to ask at the Debates, and walked towards the new feminine voice that had echoed throughout the Headquaters. "Hmm this must be the new Boss." he said quietly to himself, before turning a corner and seeing her.

Iridesca wondered into the Campaign Headquarters. She was very nervous to meet the other campaigners and share her excitement about the candidate and the new opportunity. She had just received word that she would be added as a member of the Advertising Committee. She walked proudly into the headquarters. Iridesca had bought a new outfit for the occasion and it had been pieced together around her new purple heels.

As she stepped over the threshold, she put a smile on her face...and she headed over to the group of people..."Hi, I'm new what can I do to help?"

DH was talking to the other member of the research committee when he heard a familiar voice. It was a voice she had heard of before, and even worked with. When he looked for the source of the voice he knew who she was. She was their new Department Head.

Muttering finite to end the sonorus charm so that she could talk more reasonably with the campaign volunteers, Sophia heard muttering and blinked as one rounded the corner, not at all surprised by her presence. "Something to say, Mister --?" She raised a cautious light brown manicured eyebrow at him. "Feel free to say out loud."

Ah but now the sound of heels was one that Sophia was quite familiar and attune to. Forgetting all matters with the quiet muttering of the Mister, Sophia half smiled as a quite well dressed woman - must be the new one she just sent notification to of their headquarter whereabouts - entered the building.

"Just in time. I was just going to go over some final details," Sophia explained succinctly.

Sophia really ought to have paid more close attention to the list of employees on the different committees. For had she done so, then she would have noticed at least one of her division heads was on this impartial campaign. Nodding in recognition at DH, Sophia then glanced at the three and wondered where the others were. She was sure there were more on her list.

Frowning and shrugging it off, the brunette figured she may as well get started. "So you may or may not know, but I'm Sophia Anne, your new campaign manager," she explained before continuing on. "As you all well know, the Debates between the two candidates is fast approaching. With that said, I'll need from the research committee the final copies for the information on each character so I can go over it and compile something nice to present on each one before the debates. As well as I'll need your availability for the debates to see which of you might be able to work them.

"The main bulk of the paperwork is done and the advertising committee has compiled some gorgeous banners, so with that said, I'm sending you all out on a new mission. Grab some banners, walk around the Ministry, around London, and post these banners up wherever possible. Perhaps it would be polite though to ask the shopkeeper first about putting banners in their window." She mused at the idea of shopkeepers getting angry over unapproved flyers. Only they were approved, but just not by them.

"Any questions for me?"
