Gray MacTavish's office was a very simple affair, much like the man who occupied the space. A large desk sat on the far end of the room, it's surface covered in nicks and scratches which lay unseen under a mountain of loose parchment and several books (bearing titles such as How To Balance Work and Life, Creature Care 101, The Manticore In You, etc). A half eaten sandwich sits on the cover of a book and hundreds upon thousands of moving pictures of every single magical creature to have ever passed the department were tacked on three walls of the office.
The man himself stands, examining these pictures with his hands stuffed in his pockets. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows, and the shirt he wears is more wrinkled than a 90 year old man's back. His light brown hair is rumpled from the many times he's run his hands through it, and his blue eyes hold a gleam of curiosity with just a touch of fatigue. His standard robes are slung over the back of his chair and you see that he wears trainers with his office attire.
OOC: Do not spam his office, and wait until he responds before throwing more work at the poor man (teehee).

Gregoria Matos never ran in her life so she had resorted to walking briskly, very very briskly down the corridors of her own department. Down the stairs and into the fourth floor. Never had she ventured into this department mostly because every time she saw the Head of it made her want to pull out her wand and hex every male in the vicinity.
But this was urgent.
Nay!
It was extremely urgent!
Mortally so!
Forgetting her manners she burst into the office, long dark hair flying everywhere and sticking to her humid face, neck, shoulders and torso. Her dark brown eyes were wide with fear and her pink lips were parted for the air was entering and exiting at an alarming rapid pace.
"There is a big ol' fire lizard frozen behind my bookcase! Get it! Get it!" She exclaimed raising her arms dramatically. If anyone were to walk in, you would think she was trying to give a dramatization of the flight of a very ugly and clumsy bird. |

Gray turned from where he stood and surveyed the so called Head of International Magical Co-Op with a raised eyebrow. "I'm sorry, but I think you have the wrong person, Miss Matos."
She looked unkempt and it was odd...she was always so impeccably dressed. This was probably the first time he'd ever felt like she wasn't looking down her nose at him for his wrinkled clothes.
"I don't run such errands."

Then she finally snapped out of it. Sticking her chin out defiantly, she flicked strands of hair away from her face with an elegant flick of her hand.
"Is that so?" Beastmaster, you think you're so clever. I'll teach you. "Very well. Don't you dare move a muscle, Mister MacTavish. I wouldn't dream of making you do any kind of manual labor."
Smiling tensely, she marched out of the office. He wasn't going to retrieve the blasted things she'd just have to bring them to him. | |

Gray watched her leave with a bemused expression. That was one high-strung woman, he thought with a shake of his head. Probably wasn't wise to have her as head of anything. He turned back to the pictures of the nest he had been studying earlier.
There was just something...so odd about it. He'd have to send the Beast Division to check on this one.

She had purposely ignored the curious look she had been given as she made her way back down into the lair of the last known Neanderthal to roam this earth. But it had to be done.
Walking into the office, trash bin with her, the petrified head of the frozen lizard peeking out from it, Gregoria Matos dumped the bin and its contents on Gray MacTavish's desk.
"Now it's yours. Deal with it."
With that being said, she marched out of the office and back towards her own department, working on twisting her hair into a bun once more. If only she could find the pins she lost.

Gray peered into the bin and had just looked up to ask her some questions about the Ashwinder eggs, but she was already gone. He shook his head with a frown fixed on his face.
"Women."
He took his wand out and refroze the eggs, just cos he didn't believe that that woman had done it properly. He'd just have to take the eggs to the holding room... | |

The last time she had come here she didn't look at all put together not that she wanted to impress the idiot anyways but appearances counted, didn't they? Running her hands over her chest, trying to get rid of whatever crumbles were left of her breakfast, Greg sighed.

Gray looked up from a letter he was examining at the sound of the knock and called out, (rather gruffly, it must be said) "Come in!"
He was annoyed at being disturbed, especially as he had to address his department in a while about several cases that had come to the attention of the Ministry.

Greg tried not to wrinkle her nose at the tone in MacTavish's voice. Turning the handle she opened the door half-way and stood momentarily in the treshold of the office, wondering if it was wise to step in to enemy territory. Sticking her chin out, she waltzed in, forgetting her manners and leaving the door open.
"Good Morning Mister MacTavish," she spoke softly, eyes darting to the images stuck to the walls of what appeared to be a very cluttered office. "You know--I never noticed how uh--busy your office is."
And it stinks too. | |

Gray's head jerked up at the sound of Gregoria Matos' voice. He should have known it would be her, seeing as she so enjoyed making his bad days worse. He still hadn't let go of the Ashwinder incident.
"Oh, it's just a great morning, Madam, and this-" He looked around his office as he begrudgingly stood up (there were some manners he just could not let go off), "is the office of a busy man."
