Tetrus eyed the woman with his dark eyes, at least she had a good amount of energy. “Great, welcome tah’ level four. We are, so, glad to have you.” He said with some enthusiasm as he opened the file. It was legitimate, not impressive, yet good.

In other words, he’d hit the jackpot with this one.

“Spirit Division, I’m afraid productivity in that area is way down currently. I suspect you can fix that, yes?” Tetrus stroked his chin methodically.

She couldn't deny that she felt as if she was being x-rayed, anaylsed and examined by a number of healers, prodding and poking her... all of this was felt from one stare from this man! He was slightly terrifying and Kaylee was sure a lot of that was to do with his silently, calm composure... the rest? Well it was obviously just her psychologically screwed up brain.

"Thanks. I'm pretty excited about starting... in such an interesting division nonetheless." That seemed a little too rehearsed, right? It wasn't, of course, but it did sound it. She watched him nervously as he looked over her file, probably trying to spot any flaw within her (which was probably alot if he was going by THAT resume).

"Well," she started, "I plan to. I don't want to make any promises, but I will, of course, try."

Katalin walked towards the head's door, she wanted to ask him something. She waited and then slowly knocked on the door.

A snowy white owl suddenly flies into the room, heading for the Department Head's desk and dropping off the following message -

Tetrus looked at the woman with interest, “Yes, yes it is interesting indeed.” The man stroked his chin and leaned back in his chair.

Laughing at her reaction, he coughed into his sleeve promptly and nodded. “You will do fine, sista’.” He informed her, “I’m glad to have you hear.” He said, and have her a methodical smile as there was yet another knock at the door.

“Now, your office should be down at the end of the hall to the left. I need to tend to,” He looked at the door venomously, “other things. But please keep an eye out for my memo.” He stood up from his seat, in a sort of a finality of their meeting.

As the woman leaves, an owl flies in and drops off a piece of parchment. Tetrus knew the bag news already, but that didn’t mean he enjoyed reading it over and over again. Reagan Taylor was now Minister of Magic. Disappointment was the only thoughts that could enter Tetrus’ mind.

Tossing the parchment in the trash, he looked to the door. “Come in Ms. Trigwell.” His voice was quite hasty.

Katalin opened the door which was hard because she was carrying a heavy sword "Mr Tetrus, I was wondering if this is ok to give to the centaurs."

Tetrus looked up beyond his desk lazily, eying the sword. “That’ll do fine, sista’.” He said, simply and wrote a few notes down on his parchment. “Now I’d start closing out your office and head to the Forest. Tardiness will be punished.”

The Department Head eyed her expectantly, stealing a glance at his watch. “See you there.” He said, with a small wink, and left his offices towards to the exit to the Ministry.

It couldn't get much better.

New man, new boss which equals no more Teal Andrus, and she had mail. Odd that it hadn't come to her directly, but she wasn't especially worried.

Also, she had new slaves that she was currently ignoring in favour of mail. Gimme gimme.

Not standing on ceremony... because when had she EVER? Georgia let herself into Tetrus Santana's office.

She didn't say anything. She didn't feel like she needed to.

Tetrus looked up as he heard the door open. Ah, it was the fiery red head that liked to fuss at people. Why was she here again? Oh right, mail.

“Good afternoon sista.” He said nonchalantly as he turned around to grab that letter. His deep set, dark eyes canned the parchment once again.

Sighing once, he eyed Ms. Mayes. “An Ethan Truebridge, professor at Hogwarts, has requested for the Head of Beings to serve as an expert speaker in his class.”

Folding his arms, he leaned back in his chair, eying her methodically.

Aaaaaaaand fantastic mood, RUINED.

George knew her wide grey eyes bugged out of her face. And she was pretty sure her face contorted with unadulterated fury.

"Sorry..." she growled. "I think you might have told me that some vile approximation of a History of Magic professor has requested my presence." As IF he had the right.

The universe wasn't fair. The ONE time she didn't have a coffee or anything else in her hands to throw. She gets told that Ethan Truebridge has REQUESTED her.

Bite me.

Tilting his head upwards in amusement, he grinned. He looked back down at the parchment to see if History of Magic was correct. He let out a wheezy laugh as he noticed that it was.

“Ah yes, that is what I believe I said.” He stoked his chin as his dark eyes bore into her.

His employee’s, setting their impressions on the young children? This was a good thing, a very good thing. “I assume you’d fufill the man’s request, yes?” He said, referring to Truebridge. His tone was more you will do it rather than do you want to do it.

George made a strangled noise.

"Request denied," she contradicted, between clenched teeth.

That was the point of a request wasn't it? It wasn't an order. It wasn't a command. It wasn't part of her job description to show up at career day or show and tell to smile at the kiddies and make mudpies. And it CERTAINLY wasn't in her job description to spend ONE SECOND in the same room with Ethan Truebridge.

If nothing else, she had learned by her last experience that the consequences could be disastrous.

Tetrus smiled wryly upon her rejection. Shaking his head, he tapped his fingers on his desk and clicked his tongue. “No, no. I think you will be going sista.” His dark eyes looked to her in a manner of finality.

Again, he leaned back in his chair methodically eying her.

“We need to mold the young minds, I fear that too many kids these days fear of working for the Ministry. You’ll go, and… ah, show them how much fun it is, yes?” More like she’d scare them out of any remaining thoughts of joined forces with the Minsitry of Magic.

He THINKS I'll be going. He THIIIIIIINKS I'll be going?!?!?!?

And just who in the name of Beelzebub does he THINK he IS to tell me what I will and WILL NOT DO!?!

Oh.

Right.

My Immediate Superior.

A long string of curse words described this situation in George's mind. Though she detested her parents, she was still raised by a Military Father, and she lived and breathed the Chain of Command. She didn't have much else in the way of discipline, but that much she couldn't shake.

"The only thing young minds can learn from me is how to kill a man with their bare hands. Are you sure you want the Ministry representing this type of education?" she asked stiffly.

The look of murder that this woman was giving was really amusing Tetrus. Like, really amusing Tetrus.

Laughing that wheezy laugh, he nodded. “Use what ever form you want Mayes. Just educate them none-the-less. The Ministry isn’t going to turn down a request from Hogwarts.” And his voice was final.

Picking up his old quill, he wrote a few notes down, dark eyes then looked back up to George.

“No worries then, yes?” He said, almost daring her to object.

George thrust out her hand for the letter.

"I hope we have a VERY good PR department," she said ominously. "Just remember that when we start getting Howlers from parents regarding the Frightening Woman who came and taught at their children; I was against this."

Still enjoying this situation all too much, he grabbed the letter and lightly put it into her outstretched hand. Tetrus then preceded to lean back in his seat again, crossing his arms.

“Do try and behave yourself Ms. Mayes.” He said with a sinister wink. Would she behave? Perhaps to a degree… “Now if you don’t mind, I’d like a bit of quiet before I head down to attempt giving Minister Taylor a genuine congratulations.”

That, was going to be a tough thing to swallow. Wow.

He'd like a bit of quiet, would he? Oh fiiiine! She'd just leave now.

Did she slam the door?

Oh YES she did!

As hard as she could, I might add.

After doing a little bit of finding and wandering around, Sarah soon found the floor where her respective department was located on. Meet with the Department Head... then the Division Head... then all employees. This might take a while, but she'd have to do it anyway. Sarah needed to get to know them... and have them to get to know her. After all... she'd be working with them for some time... and plus... Reagan said so 'nuff said.

She came upon the Department Head's Office where a golden plate defined that the Department Head's name was Tetrus Santana. Hmm... what an interesting name. Sarah lifted her hand and knocked on the door as she waited for a reply from Mr. Tetrus Santana.

Looking up as there was a knock at the door, Tetrus' brown eyes gazed to his two-way mirror. Hmm, some girl he was unfamiliar with. Grinning ever so slightly, he called out to her in his raspy voice.

"Come in."

At the sound of the man's voice, Sarah opened the door and walked into the office. It seemed rather cozy. She studied the office for a few moments, her eyes glazing over the vase of Quills and the map of... Africa? On the back wall. Peculiar words on there, Sarah didn't recognize it.

Finally, she turned her attention back to the man that sat before her. Hmm... nice dreadlocks. "Hello sir. You must be Mr. Tetrus Santana? I'm Sarah Lee and I was recently hired from Human Resources. I'm the new liaison for this department. This is my first day on the job," Sarah said, smiling as she extended a hand towards the man.

His dark eyes scanned the woman subjectively, she seemed professional enough. "That I am. It's a pleasure Ms. Lee. And, congrats on the new position." Tetrus threw in a methodical wink, and then grabbed her hand firmly to shake.

"Might I offer you a seat, sista?" He asked, gesturing to a chair opposite his. His deep set eyes not straying from hers.

His eyes staring into her, made Sarah feel a tad bit uncomfortable. But she tried not to show it. "Thank you very much, Mr. Santana," she said, and smiled widely at the wink he gave her. What a pleasant man. And he gave a firm shake. Says a lot about one's self.

"Why yes. Thank you," Sarah said, as she seated herself in the chair that he gestured at, quite aware that his eyes were still on hers. She, too, returned the stare. "Say... Did you know that there was a band named Santana? Consisting of musicians working alongside the musician, Carlos Santana, himself?" she asked. Although it was besides the point of why she was here, she wanted to mention it.

Tetrus nodded methodically as she gave her gratitude. He liked this girl, yes he did. Well, as far as Tetrus went on the whole 'liking people' thing.

He continued to eye the woman as she sat down, his gaze was one that seemed to look through her. Shaking out of it, he raised an eyebrow at her question. "No sista, I have not heard of them." He wheezed, his lip began to curl into a grin. "I'm assuming it is a British band, yes?"

He was from Africa, his knowledge of international rock was quite small.

Sarah cocked her head when the man replied that he had not heard of them. Really? Huh. Well that was a first. Then again... it was also the first time she mentioned the band before... anyhoo. "Really? You've never heard of them?" she exclaimed with a small smile.

"Well. I've no idea actually. I believe they're from the States, though. I only listen to their music really. My knowledge of the band itself... is quite lacking," she said, shrugging. Well... Sarah would just have to look it up, later on.

Anyway.... back to the point of her trip here. "Right... Sort of drifted off there," she said, chuckling. "So the reason I came here was because I am doing a report on the latest work and missions that the employees here in this department have been working on lately. What each division has been up to...? So if you can fill me in... I can get working on that report and send it in to Minister Reagan." Sarah smiled as she folded her hand, allowing herself to peel her attention away from the room... away from the band Santana... and focus it all on Mr. Tetrus Santana as he would fill her in on the latest updates.
