After the war, a new marriage law was promated. The ministry wanted to try and mix purebloods and muggleborn, so there would be less predijuce. Of couse, everyone is upset with the Ministry for causing such a chaotic law. Only single, muggleborn/purebloods over the age of 17 are affected.

Hermione Granger has always been the fifth wheel. Harry had Ginny and Ron had (fill in the blank). She was appualed by this marriage arrangment. It just so happened that she was a single muggle born of the age 18 and Draco Malfoy was a single pureblood wizard of the age 18. And it just so happened, that the ministry paired them to together. The problem is, they hate each other with a firey passion, and yet they are to be married in 1 month.

Personality: Smart and quick on her feet. Sara can pull any prank, talk her way out of anything, and sneak into any area. She is a great example of the ultimate spy. When you get to know her she is fun, sweet, and just a bit crazy. Being a pureblood, the arrangement annoys her slightly, but hopes the arrangement will turn out ok.
Background: Her family wasn’t particularly close, but they were well off. Both her parents worked for the ministry, but were killed in a terrible accident. As soon as she graduated from Hogwarts she got a good job and moved to a big old mansion in the country her father owned. After renovating the place, she now lives there alone. She invites friends over all the time. Half the mansion is unused and even she doesn’t know the whole floor plan.

Personality: Keaton is your “guy next door.” He’s funny, nice, friendly, easy going, and witty at times. He loved school and all the subjects (except Astronomy and Divination). For this reason, the Sorting Hat seriously considered putting him in Ravenclaw, but settled on Hufflepuff. He is also quite athletic and played Keeper for the Hufflepuff House Qudditch Team for years. Keaton is a little indecisive and can be shy at times.
Background: Keaton grew up close to where Hermione did, so they went to the same Muggle school before coming to Hogwarts. Keaton and Hermione were always friends, but there wasn’t much more to it than that. When they got to Hogwarts, Keaton and Hermione didn’t get to see as much of each other due to being in separate houses (Keaton in Hufflepuff and Hermione in Gryffindor), but they remained in touch as friends; through the Hogwarts years, Keaton managed to befriend Ron and Harry also. Now that they’re out of Hogwarts, Keaton gets to see more of everyone, as they are in the same circle of friends. Will the Keaton/Hermione relationship stay on a strictly friends basis, or will things go beyond that?
