Bella sighed. There would be no use trying to stop the other Cullens believing werewolves were something not to like. Holding her breath to keep her new vampire instincts at bay, Bella turned to Quil, waiting for an answer to Alice's question. They wouldn't be able to do anything until they knew something about what was happening.

Alice leant against the door frame. This was nerving her now. What if something happened to Carlisle out there and they didnt know because she hadnt seen it. "Quil tell me exactly whats happening. Then we can help" She contemplated what she had said, she was being rather polite towards a wolf now.

Quil began to panic, since he hadn't been there when both Sam and Leah were attacked. "Well, they were attacked by a vampire we've never seen before." he explained nervously as he started down at his huge hands. "I was too busy trying to figure out what I was smelling, rather then trying to help them." he added feeling utterly disappointed with himself.

Alice nodded. New vampires interesting. "I see. Carlisle has gone to help those who were attacked. I think its best if you go back up to the other wolves" The vampire gave him a reassuring smile before looking at the others. "I'm going to go and see if I can see anything of this Vampire by the edges of the forest" She informed before glancing at Jasper, silently asking him to come with her.

Bella sighed, looking at Alice. 'Good luck,' she said, before looking back at Quil. 'D'you know who was attacked? Who this vampire injured?' she asked, concerned. Despite the "vampire-werewolf are mortal enemies" stuff, she still cared about the wolves immensly.

Jasper was in a daydream, a fantasy world. He flinched slightly as Alice nudged him gently, and he peered at her. He nodded, and stood up, offering his hand to her.

"I'll join you." He said seriously.

Jasper smiled and nodded to each person as they left the room. He started towards the forest, but was hit by a terrible stench. He coughed, and wrinkled his nose, but continued none the less.

"This way." He mumbled, ignoring her comment, and pulling her into the woods. Amongst the trees, there was a different smell. The dog's smell was still there, lingering on the air, but there was something else. He inhaled deeply.

"There are two of them." He hissed suddenly. "Two vampires."

Alice let him pull her into the forest. She relaxed more as she smell of wolves decreased. As he inhaled she copied him, the familar smell of vampire filling her nostrils.
"There are" She agreed looking around the forest. Should they go looking for those two. It wouldnt hurt. "Shall we see if we can find them. I mean they might not attack their own kind"

Rosalie couldn't restrain a hostile hiss as one of the dogs suddenly barged into the house. All scruffy and....STINKING! She massaged her temples, her face steely. She hated when Emmett saw her like this. She hated every cold expression. She'd rather have her husband see her in a much more composed manner. "Someone hurt?" she asked flatly, a slight hint of concern echoing somewhere in the very depths of her eyes. She glanced around the room for Carlisle, not sure whether he'd left or not.
"Please," she asked earnestly, almost unable to bear the smell any longer. Or the thing she'd wanted to discuss with Emmett for quite some time now. But how would he take it? It was...to say the least, ridiculous.

A gentle breeze kissed her cheeks like an obsessive lover, curling locks of shredded edges of hair around her body---like ropes. Angie obsessively untangled it, having severe phobias of any irrational binding.
Her promised land wasn't in any direction. The dusty gray highway she couldn't see through the trees shafts. Unless she climbed one...Angie gulped down a smile of pleasure. Jumping from great heights was a favorite of hers. Reslute, she moved toward a sturdy oak with wispy branches reaching higher than any other flora for miles. But...
A mangled, manic scream issued from her throat, most likely deafening the new male vampire who had the nerve to approach her. For the second time her bright red eyes spat what she didn't have the voice to say. Go away! Angie hissed rudely in his face. "Leave! Now!" she barked, throwing down her jacket and lunging to the center of the tree in one jump.

Jasper frowned and inhaled. It wasn't the vampire scent he was used to. Not at all. As they got deeper into the forest, it began to get darker, the light randomly spurting through the trees in golden pools around their feet.

"I wouldn't count on it." He muttered.

As they moved into the forest more and as it got darker Alice felt herself move closer to Jasper. She suddenly stopped dead where she was, letting go of Jaspers hand and resting her forehead in her hands. Something flashed before her eyes. Something that spooked her. A few minutes later she looked up but didnt meet Jaspers eyes for she knew that he was watching her. She knew when she told him what happened that it would seem even more true.

"Jasper She began, not yet looking at him. "One of the Vampires. A female one. I think shes dangerous"

Her eyes now were truly an acidic black as she glared, tempted to just snap her fangs at him and scare him. But, must be civil. Carlisle would be beside himself. All his hard work and such. "We'll see you when we see you. Call if you need something," she smirked at the family, flouncing out of the room, saving the smiles for her soulmate.

Angie prowled across a limb, glaring at her new stalker on the ground below. The air shuddered with a trepid, angry growl. Her eyes were ready to launch out her head as flaming red balls of fire. To attack him. To...kill. She pursed her lips, tightening her nails into the screaming bark of the tree. Scowling, her eyes perused the newcomer. Tall, statuesque...what was it about vampires being like marble replicas of David? Her eyes challenged him, dared him to invade her psyche and toss if off its delicate equillibrium. "I...said..leave!" this is my territory. Her nails slashed against the poor oak, carving a menace's claw marks deep into the trunk. Trees didn't bleed. They were too proud. But Angie heard it cry. The breeze around it suddenly became lachrymal. "There! See! I marked it!" In all desperation, she stomped hard on the branch which he landed on, sending it and him down to the not-so-welcoming forest floor below. "You're wasting my time, leech!" she spat, words falling like bombs on Pearl Harbor. Her hair dusted her shoulder, brushing excess bark off her bony shoulders as she stood up on a high branch, her tall body making her appear like some majestic bird of prey...or a female Tarzan.
Angie didn't look for the highway. Not just eyed. Stiffening her jaw, and balling her tiny palms into apple-sized fists. "Go!" she ordered once more. "I work alone. And what I don't need..." a demented leer reared more emotions of anger and internal fear...."I dispose of." If he didn't get the hint now...

Carlisle ran towards where the conflict was. "How hurt is he? What happened?" he asked the pack with a polite tone. He pulled out some medical tools from out of his huge jacket and was ready to help.

"Hello." Novak said, nodding. He found a seat and stared at the beautiful coven.

Paul looked up as the bloodsucker arrived and growled gently, standing up on all fours again. After a moment of looking at Carlisle, he ran into the trees, only to emerge moments later with a pair of black sweats on and a bare chest.

'I swear, you do anything to hurt either of them . . .' He didn't finish his threat, instead gesturing to Sam and Leah. 'Help them, nothing more.'

Carlisle nodded without argument, attended to Sam, and hoped that either one of the pack would answer him. He bandaged Sam's neck after hastily stitching it. "Who did this?" he asked.

'Some female.' Paul's answer was short but to the point. 'We smelt her, I joined Leah at the boundary -,' he glared at Carlisle, as if to remind him that he was past the boundary line. '-And she was in the shadows. There may have been another with her, but she attacked Sam and Leah. She one of yours?'

Sam whimpered mutely, panting in pain and moving his head. A puddle of blood accumulated around his head, soaking his ears and snout. He didn't open his eyes. What the hell happened? he thought, hoping someone was listening. A brick...no a cinder block felt like it was resting on his chest, compressing his lungs. And his head....what were they doing? Removing his brain without putting him to sleep? He whined once more, producing a feeble protesting howl as someone's icy hands pressed against his neck. The leech. Did she do this?

Alyssia looked over as the vampire doctor guy arrived and began to heal Sam. She growled quietly as she heard Sam's howl, thinking that the Vampire was hurting him. Sam that leech attacked you. And Leah. She thought quickly to him. The female wolf scratched at her arm as she watched Carlisle healing Sam, trying to make sure that the leech didnt do anything to hurt their leader.
