Edward chuckled at what his brother said. "I couldn't find you, you got on the train before me." He shrugged. "Where were you?"

Edward noticed that his friend Ian was with Jared. "Hey Mate." He smiled.

Emma smiled a bit, "That's okay Mysti, we'll be on the stands, bothering the Slytherin team" she winked at her friend and laughed, she searched for Jared's face and said, "Just kidding! You know how I am" placing her palms up with an expression that could easily read "sorry" around her face.

"Too bad I won't be playing against you Edward, it could have been fun again" shaking her head from one side to the other, suddenly she stands up and search for something on her bag, "I guess I'm going to find something to eat, I'll be back" she gestured Jared to move from the door, as he was blocking the exit and left.

Harry grinned, glad to be able to finally participate, and said, "I've known for ages. Everyone knows about Hogwarts, but my father always had his heart set on me going to his old school. I've been begging them for three years to let me go to public school."

She smiled at Harry's enthusiasm to Hogwarts. Her parents hardly cared where she went, just as long as she was learning.
Valentine had blushed violently when Ian followed Jared along. Without thinking, she stuffed the drawing further down into her bag, making a mental note to burn it when she had the time.

"Hufflepuff, huh?" he said, "I have a few great friends from there, you'll do fine there" he liked how excited the boy sounded, he was completely thrilled about coming to Hogwarts, Jared didn't even considered going to another school, it was kind of a tradition to come to Hogwarts, at least for them.

But you've watched me play before, right?" maybe she didn't even notice him on the field or didn't go to the games against Slytherin, "Well, Chaser, of course, the fastest there is" he continued, he might be given the Captain title next year after since the current one was in his final year.

He looked over to Edward, and said to Andrea in a soft voice, "He's not the only who can help you, you know" although his brother was really great in Quidditch as well.

"I'm looking forward to it," Harry said with a smile. "Mostly, though, I'm just looking forward to getting back on a broomstick again. Algarath's doesn't have teams or even a field. I don't even care if I'm not on a team, I just want to be back up in the air again." He closed his eyes as he thought about the RainBird broom in his trunk.

Gaer finished up with the Prefects, feeling more tired than when he had woken up this morning, and decided he should probably make good on his promise to the new kid he'd run into that morning. He walked swiftly down the halls, his robes billowing proudly and his Prefects badge glinting light. He snorted as he looked down at it. He cause more trouble than most students at Hogwarts, so he wasn't sure why he'd been selected, but those Heads always thought in funny directions. He walked into the compartment he'd left Harry in and saw that it had filled up quite well. He grinned when he saw Jared and said, "Oy! Good on you, mate."

He heard an amazingly familiar voice, "Hey Sale! Wow, look at that, it's going to be a problem trying to focus on you when you are wearing the badge" Jared said, it was great to see him, so many memories, so many pranks, "I thought they gave it to the most responsible and well-behaved students" and laughed at the thought, those weren't exactly the requirements for being a Prefect, to Jared it was more of a leader kind of thing, those who couldn't lead, weren't in that position.

He started to wonder about how his friend will be now, if he was going to be good, or use the badge's power for his own amusement.

Mysti giggled. "I guess so. Cheer our teams on and stuff." She shrugged. Even tohugh she was afraid of flying, she though she might be good at it anyway. Mysti smiled as Emma left the compartment.

Edward raised an eyebrow. "Oh." He smirked. Only one thought went to his head then, but it probobly wasn't true.
"And you just left her in the compartment alone?" He said, sitting up now.

Gaer snickered at Jared as he looked at the badge once more and said, "I think Gryffindor 'ead just has 'er 'ead tight in knots. 'Course, a leader must be charismatic," he added, swelling up with a mock pride. "Still, my shiny friend 'ere will prob'ly get me out o' tight spots if I can play me card just the righ' way." He winked and tapped his badge smartly.

Jared laughed at Gaer's comments and then turned to his brother.

"It's not for the rest of the day, I planned to go back in a few minutes" Jared replied to his brother's question, he sounded a bit upset about how Edward phrased the question, what did he implied by "left her alone", it wasn't exactly on purpose, and he was way more comfortable back there, "Maybe I should return now" he thought.

He stood up, "I guess I should go now, see you back at Hogwarts" he said, waving at them.

Once inside the other compartment, he smiled at Keira and took his former seat, "There's a transfer student going to Hufflepuff this year, he seems like a nice kid" he told her, since Harry was now going to share the House with her.

Ian nodded to Jared. Sitting down and watching all the commotion going on he saw Valentine smash a drawing up into a tight ball. Raising his eyebrow ever so slightly he smirked. Shaking it off he relaxed into his seat.

With a few chocolate frogs, some droobles and pumpking pasties in a bag, Emma entered the compartment again, "I guess Jared's time was up, huh?" she said, noticing that Ian did stay and Gaer was also in, "Hey Nate! Congrats!" she winked, looking at his badge, "I had the feeling you were going to be my Prefect this year" it was nice to see a fellow Gryffindor in the compartment.

She walked back to her seat placing the bag of candy in front, "If anyone wants something, feel free to grab it" she announced, it was obvious she wasn't going to eat all that, but she thought it could be rude to be back and eat on her own, she took a sip of her very cold pumpkin juice, and looked back at her friends.

Valentine glared sourly at him, how dare he even think of being suspicious? And that darn annoying smirk of his. It was times like this that she was so glad that she wasn't a Slytherin.

"Yeah, that's our job though, isn't it Myst." Valentine said, through slightly clenched teeth. No, she had to calm down. It wasn't a big deal, people would guess better if she was worked up, so forcing on a smile, she pressed herself to be just a little but more agreeable.

Emma took another sip, and noticed a change in the atmosphere of the place, "Oh, God, what did I miss?" she thought, being a witness of Val's reaction, Emma rolled her eyes a bit and looked outside the window, it fell so good to be moving back to Hogwarts again.

She turned again, "Here Val, grab some droobles" Emma winked at her friend passing her the bubblegum, she thought if she was chewing it she didn't need to force a smile, or at least that's what her friend seemed to be doing.

Valentine took the bubblegum from her friends outstreached hand and put it in her mouth. Slowly chewing on it, she decided that she'd read for a bit, nothing harmful in that, and she wasn't doing anyone else any harm, so what could go wrong with reading? Apart from the fact that the author's first name was Ian.

Noticing how Val took a book out, she thought she wouldn't mind if she said one last thing about Quidditch, "Seriously? They don't even have teams? Andrea answered, happy with the attention:
"I may have watched you play, but can´t remember exactually." She had watched all the games, with the excuse to discuss them with her brothers. But had to be honest: most of the time she payed more attention to Jared than to her own team. Glad that Cameron, Nate, Jason and David never realized that. she tought with a smile.

Also in a soft voice, the girl said:
"I accept any help... If it's not dangerous to accept help from a slytherin..." she whispered to his ear.

Drea was so focus on Jared that she didn´t realized when Val started to read.

Stupid stupid bloody book. Valentine hurriedly opened the book, and fixated her eyes on the page infront of her.
Romance: A scholars view, by Ian Pagely. She almost screamed out loud at the irrisponsiblity of her bringing that very book.
"Uh, I think I need some fresh air." She admitted, "I'll be okay on my own." Then, stumbling out of the compartment, she went to one of the open windows in the corridor. She was going to burn the book, and the drawing. Valentine decided as she stuck her head out the window.
