Lorcan and Lysander both raised their eyebrows as though this was new to them and looked at each other with wide eyes. "Make sure you don't disappear?" Lorcan asked.

"What would we do that?" Lysander grinned.

"In fact," Lorcan said.

"We know a perfect way you can do just that!" Lysander finished and pulled a circular disc from his bag.

Lorcan took it from him and tapped with his wand and the top hat popped up.

"Headless hats!" they exclaimed together.

"Well, upon weighing the amount of trouble that would be caused by helping you," Lorcan began.

"Against the amount of trouble that would be caused by keeping you here," Lysander continued.

"The odds are in your favor," they ended together, jamming the hat onto her head with identical grins as her head disappeared.

Lorcan and Lysander surveyed Lily and said, "I don't know."

"May have defeated the purpose," Lorcan commented to Lysander.

"Mm," Lysander agreed. "She might be more noticeable now..."

Scorpius kept his eyes closed, ever when the youngest Potter had come over to help him up. But soon enough he heard a voice that made him grow just a touch hotter on the cheeks. His grey eyes slid open and to his surprise, it was the Weasley that he'd had a bit of a run-in on the train with.
"Uh, Weasley... Yeah, I think I'm fine." He dragged himself up from the floor, "Darn chairs, they should have backs," He muttered, more to himself than anything.

"I'm just headless aren't I?" asked Lily as she removed the hat. "Great. And James had to be the one to inherit the cloak; Albus gets the map; and I get to have a talk with both of them." She smiled at the twins, "Oh well, thanks for trying guys."

"You could be a canary," Lorcan offered her a canary cream.

"Most of the first years are by now," Lysander agreed, pointing at them.

Lorcan shrugged at her and popped one into his own mouth. With a squawk, he became a canary and changed back a few moments later.

Both brothers winked at Lily and said, "Don't say we never tried to help you!"

Tamzin rolled her eyes. " Fine dont bother to listen. You have to let ehr grow uip on her own Albus." Thank God the sorting had nearly finished.

Now the soring was over Tamzin stood up and walked toward teh Slytherin common room. Afetr stopping at Lily. "Congratulations honey." She smiled at her.

Tamzin walked away form Lily awaiting Albus to turn up at the common room furous with her for interfering.

James walked casually back to the Gryffindor table. Good thing nobody had seen him. He kept his Invisibility Cloak in his hand, having nowhere to stuff it in, and hope that nobody would see it. Had his siblings noticed that he hadn't been there? Or were they too busy congratulating new Gryffindors? He sat down, opposite Lily and said, "So, how do you like the food?"

"What does he want?" Annoying little siblings. James got up and walked to the Slytherin table, stopped, sneered at Scorpius, and then continued to walk towards Albus.

"Hey, Al, what is it?" he asked.
