so, this roleplay is probably best described as art imitating life...

Hayley was a pureblooded Wizard, who was descendant from the earliest families. Her family's house was Gryffindor. She went to Hogwarts just like everybody else who had magical ability, and she had the best family and friends in the world.

One day, she started to get sick. Nobody, not even the healers at St Mungo's could work out what was wrong or how to fix it. Getting sicker by the minute, Hayley spends the last few weeks of term before Summer in the Hospital Wing. Her friends bring her the work from their classes and she finishes them in her bed.

By the holidays, Hayley is bed-ridden, and unable to go anywhere. It's unlikely that she will be able to attend school next semester either. She has her family and friends by her side the whole holidays, but can barely speak to them or recognise them anymore.

Their conclusion...she is dying without a cause.

But, a muggle neighbour from their hometown of Godric's Hollow visits, and says she has an almost fatal Muggle disease, called cancer. She is sent to a Muggle doctor and undergoes chemotherapy, just as semester begins again for her family and friends.

Will Hayley survive this strange muggle illness? Will she defy the odds and live to tell the tale? Most of all, and her greatest fear...will she leave her treasured family and friends behind?
