so this is my first RP, and i hope you guys like it
The plot is set in the same time as Harry and all his friends.
Alexis is a young first year who is starting at Hogwarts with Harry, Ron and Hermione. She becomes a friend of theirs, but is not incredibly close. As she's noticed, they are a tight-knit group of three. She knows about three's, because she is the middle of three sisters.
Either way, she decides to find herself another set of friends, which is when she comes across two girls who are looking for a third to complete their group.
And that's about as sepcific as i'll go. So, obviously some people will need to be Harry, Ron and Hermione, and then everyone else can be a made-up character of their choice.

The Story...
Alexis walked into King's Cross Station in London. She was getting strange lookes from the passers by. It could have been because she had an owl on the front of her trolley, or because of her huge hair...or maybe it was her sister with the bright purple hair they were staring at. Either way, she felt uncomfortable. Then there it was. The barrier...or the wall between Platform 9 and 10. She sighed, and looked up at her sister. "See you at Christmas, Dora," she said, giving her a hug.
Dora let go of her little sister. "Good luck, girly," she said, "See you soon. Write to me when you get there." Alexis nodded as she looked bakc to the barrier. She ran, full speed, at the wall. And then...there she was.
Mikaela, who was already standing on Platform 9 3/4, glanced around herself. Her first year at Hogwarts. She honestly wasn't overly excited, but sure it would be fun going to school. She sighed and pushed the trolley in front of herself, giving her some empty space between her and her mom, so that she could say goodbye.
Wow, Alexis thought. The people around her were a lot bigger than she was. With the trolley as her barrier, she pushed through the crowd towards the baggage compartment. There, she deposited her trunk and her owl, Mugglewump (who was now a shade of blue, thanks to her sisters), before attempting to board the train. She could see many small, bewildered people dotting the platform, so she figured they must be first years like her.
Gracelynn bounced along Platform 9 3/4 pushing her trolley along. She was so excited and ready to start her magical education. Waving to her Grandma, she took one last look at her and then turned around and made her way to the train. With the help a second year she managed to get her trunk and her cat carrier onto the train and into an empty compartment.
Sighing from the exersion, she took out a book and started to read. It was supposed to be a really long ride and she had made absolutely certain she wouldn't get bored.
Harry jumped out of the Dursleys' Muggle car, ready to get out as soon as possible. He grinned broadly as soon as the scarlet of the train was in view. He scanned the crowd to find his friends. Hermione, Ron and... Alexis. He saw her, his heart sped up. Why, every time? Tended to get annoying. She was his ferr-enddd!
"Hey!!" he yelled, running over to her, "How was yer summerrrr?"
He wanted to give her a big fat hug, so that's what he did. Oooh, nice.
Alexis didn't have time to reply as Harry practically glomped her. "Oh, Hello Harry!" she said, laughing, "You gave me a fright!" She released the boy and pointed to the train. "Should we get a compartment?" she asked.
Mikaela looked around herself. Crowded, a bit chostraphobic, to be honest. She sighed and glanced around herself. If she didn't go on the train soon, there would be no compartments left. She wasn't really happy about sitting with a group of strangers, and so she walked on to the train and found an empty compartment. She sat down and opened the book, happy that she had found an empty one, cause all others were probably full by now.
Alexis began to walk onto the train, not sure if Harry was following. He may have gotten lost along the way, she wasn't sure, she just wanted to sit down. There were no empty compartments, so she decided to find one with only one person. She managed to find one with a young, brown-haired girl inside. "Excuse me," she poked her head in, "may I please sit here? Everywhere else is full for now."
"Feel free!" Mikaela said and smiled. Maybe this would be her chance to make a new friend.
She smiled at the girl and looked down at her book. She decieded it may be rude to read while the girl was there, and so she put the book down and looked at the girl again.
"I'm Mikaela Cauldwell," She introduced."You?"
"Alexis Tonks," she said. What do I say now? she thought. umm.... "So what house do you want to get into?" she asked, attempting to break the awkwardness.
