Red face What book always makes you cry?

Hey guys. Here's a question:

What book makes you cry every time you read it?

For me, I would have to say Mitch Albom's "The Five People You Meet In Heaven". I don't know why, but every time I read it, I cry.

What about you all?

Yeah that book makes me cry too. At the moment the only other ones I can think of are OotP and HBP(especially HBP), but there are probably more.

Whoa, I agree with both of you. Of course I cried when Dumbledore died (who didn't) and I cried in Old Yeller when he died.

What can I say? I'm a crybaby

Haven't read Old Yeller, or... The Five People you meet in heaven. I would have to say... Ootp, hbp, and... what am I missing? Oh yeah! Peace Like a River. My brother let me read it even though I was too young for it.

The book that always makes me cry is Heartland - Darkest Hour or Heartland - Everything Changes. They always mke me cry when I read them, they are so well written and emotional.

It's funny, I'm ok up to the bit when Dumbledore says, "I know Harry (im gonna be alright), I'm with you". Gets me every time.

But Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman is a fantastic read.*recommend*

^That book is on my list of "To-Read" books. I saw the movie and loved it, so I need to find the time to read the book. I'm sure it's very sad, especially at the beginning when they get seperated.

OotP of course! I cried two days nonstop- no joke! I didn't cry at HBP, for some reason...
Revenge of the Sith(Star Wars) made me cry...I don't even like SW books but I bawled!!! We had to read it for school, and now I've read it three times because it's so well-written!

Any and every (that I've read) book by Lurlean McDainel. OMG. Everytime.....she tugs my heartstrings and I can't help it. I cry. Sometimes a little, sometimes a full-out sob session.

Stone of Tears, Chainfire, and Phantom by Terry Goodkind have been known to make me cry as well. He puts his characters through torture. Ugh.

For me HBP definatley and the only other book that has ever mde me cry was a book I read a long time ago when I was a kid I think it was called Two Weeks with the queen about a boy who is sent away to England while his little brother is getting treated for cancer and he tries to contact the Queens physicians because if they r good enough to look after her they will be good enough to make his brother better. Sorry rambling the book really got to me.

"If Wishes Were Horses" was read to me in fourth grade, and so far only that and HBP are the only books that have ever made me cry. If you like sad books and are having trouble finding one, just put on some sad or powerful music. Makes a good mood. I've had the most luck with MCR and Evanescence, but there are other good bands to listne to.
